Love this piece, I usually buy silicone to make things a little easier to clean. Out of the package it did not have that strong smell some items do. It is a firm smooth toy, so it is easier to insert. Being on the large side I would recommend this for more advanced users, but can be used too by the adventurous beginner. We used it as a beginner toy and worked up to full insertion slowly. Once it did anal sex was easy; she was warmed up for me, and it seemed to be a lot more pleasurable and less painful.
