The Big End is meant to be used anally. Its large diameter coupled with its narrow neck and wide base helps keep it in place during use. The base, although wide, is flexible and makes it more comfortable for long term wear. It’s also not too long to interfere with penetration or vaginal toy use.

While meant to be inserted and left in place, the Big End can also be gently thrust in and out by grasping the base.

This plug is on the larger size, and is best suited for those with experience and who like a larger, fuller plug. The tapered shape does allow for lesser penetration and helps warm up to the width if necessary.

The Big End comes in 2 colors, charcoal and purple. The purple is a deep, rich lavender, with shiny sparkles throughout. It has a very light scent that is barely noticeable and disappears after the first wash. It has no taste at all, either out of the box or on subsequent uses.

Made of silicone, this plug is non-porous and phthalates free and has a smooth, seamless design. The surface is shiny and has a bit of drag. It is also lightly tacky and will pick up lint and hair, so the plug should always be washed before and after use.

While the packaging describes the Big End as having a “life-like” feel, even covered in lube it doesn’t feel like a penis, although it does feel nice. The entire plug from tip to base is soft, squishy very flexible. The material isn't so soft to retain marks like fingernail imprints, and pressing in with your fingernails will not damage the surface.

The shape of the Big End, along with its flexibility, makes it easy to insert, comfortable to wear, and simple to remove after use.

This plug is shaped like a tulip bulb. Just 5/8” wide at the tip, it widens over 3 7/8” to a maximum diameter of about 1 3/4” before joining the 7/8” neck. The plug can be inserted 4 3/4". Since the neck is so much thinner than the largest part of the bulb and also of adequate length, it keeps the Big End firmly planted and doesn’t cause it to slip out during use.

The base is 3” long, but only 1 3/4" wide. Its high bendability makes it more comfortable to nestle between butt cheeks for extended wear than firmer based toys, yet it’s not so soft or squishy that there's any worry it will slide up inside.

This plug works well. The tapered tip makes it easy to insert and the gradual widening of the plug helps stretch and prepare you for its full insertion. Even if the plug is too large to fully insert, it can be used for gentle and slow thrusting, which can also help insert the plug farther. The material is soft and pliable enough to make insertion pleasurable, yet firm enough to allow the Big End to keep its shape.

The base’s flexibility allows it to sit more comfortably between your cheeks and move with you, although the width may be uncomfortable for some. Depending on your comfort with the width, this plug may not be suitable for long term wear.

Made of silicone, the Big End is easy to care for. It should be cleaned both before and after use with soap and hot water or a favorite toy cleaner. It is also safe to run through the dishwasher on the top rack or boiled for extra sanitization.

It can be stored in its original packaging, in a separate bag, or stood upright on a shelf. Only water-based lubricants are safe to use.

The Big End comes in an easy to open plastic case. The plug is visible through the front, and product information is visible on the case insert through the back. The case can be used for storage, although a storage bag works as well.

The bulb is a common shape for anal toys for several reasons: the tapering makes it easy to insert, the narrow neck helps keep it in place, and the plug part itself can be used to gently stretch you out if needed to get the plug inserted.

The size of this did surprise me a bit. This is on the large end of what I’m comfortable with, and it looked simply huge in the package. This was one I had to warm up to. My husband carefully and slowly worked it, and then we put it in the Liberator Wing so I could control the thrusting. The tapering made it a lot easier to finally take, combined with clitoral stimulation. Since it had some give to it, it went in with less effort than the harder material plugs of similar size that I’ve used. It wasn’t too hard to remove, although slow and gentle was the key.

I liked how flexible the base is. While it’s a bit wide to wear this for long periods of time, it’s a lot more comfortable than toys with firmer bases. It’s not something I’ll be wearing out anytime soon, but I found it fine to wear for shorter periods.

I found the neck long enough for me to be able to keep this in place during intercourse, and my husband didn’t have problems with the base being in the way.

This is definitely a filling plug, and won’t be something I’ll just pop in, but it’s pleasurable to insert and wear once I’m ready.
