Cushy Cush

The Cush is made from great materials, and feels close to realistic. The size is great, gives you the nice full feeling without being too large. The soft outer-layer of silicone also takes away worries about thrusting too hard, and makes this toy very comfortable to use. The ridge of the head works for some g-spot stimulation, and also gives that nice pop when it enters you. I love my Cush and it quickly became my favorite toy. Not only does it feel amazing, but its soft and gorgeous!

Use

Cush is great for vaginal use and can stimulate the g-spot, but it might be a little large for some. It can also be used anally but is going to be too big for beginners (and some intermediate users). It is great for solo or couple use, and can be used in a harness. Since it is made from silicone, it is safe to share this toy, but be sure to sanitize it in between partners (or use a condom). The other great thing about the material is that it is dual-density silicone, so the outer layer is soft enough that you do not have to worry about bruising your cervix when thrusting. Honestly, I think this dildo would work great for anyone able to take the girth, and the material makes the girth easier to take because of how squishy it is.

Material / Texture

The O2 Dual-density silicone of this toy is excellent. It does collect lint, so be sure to be careful where you store it. There is a bit of drag to the material, but some lube (be sure to stay away from silicone-based lube) and it is gone. It feels very plush and squishy, yet you can still feel the harder inner layer underneath the soft one. The head is especially squishy, which makes this toy great for thrusting without worry of a bruised cervix. The inner core is firm, but still flexible and does allow for quite a bit of movement and bending. Cush has a gorgeous dark purple (blue or pink are also available) firm inner core, with a white layer of softer silicone over it. This creates a beautiful toy that looks frosted, with the color deepening at the ridges as the softer layer is thinner.

The feel of the material is somewhat realistic, but the inner core is a bit too firm to make it feel completely real. This does feel less realistic than Cyberskin or UR3 materials when holding it, but when in use they feel very similar (and this material is much more body safe). Cush is made from medical grade silicone that is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. There is also absolutely no smell or taste to the material of this, which for me is a huge plus.
    • Harness compatible
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

My Cush measured at 7 1/2 in. in length, with 6 1/2 of that insertion capable, with a base that is 8 1/2 in. in circumference. The widest point of the toy, which is at the ridge of the head is 6 1/4 in. circumference (1 7/8 diameter), and most of rest of the toy sits at 5 1/2 in. circumference (1 3/4 diameter). This image actually shows the real color the purple best, many of my photos wash it out and make it look bluer.

To give you a better idea of the size, here it is compared to a bottle of water, and a regular bullet.

The head is somewhat realistic looking, and the ridge below it almost makes it look like one penis head stacked onto another. The ridge below the head is more elongated, but does feel similar to the slight pop you get when the head first goes in.

Ok, since there is no comparison portion I will put it here.

To give you a size idea these are all Tantus toys, from left to right this is: Mikey (mine is supersoft), Vamp, O2 Cush, 02 Adam, and VIP Super Soft.

The outer layer of O2 is the same as the super soft silicone of my VIP and Mikey; and it feels just as squishy, but that layer seems softer and less bouncy because it has the firm inner silicone for it to squish against. The normal Tantus silicone of my Vamp seems softer and is bendier than the inner core of my Cush, as I can easily bend that at a 90 degree angle, but Cush has much more resistance if I try to bend it.
Now to compare the two O2 toys, Cush and Adam:
Adam is thinner, and has slightly less insertion length. Adam also has the nice g-spot curve and gives much more stimulation there than the ridges of Cush do. Adam bends much more easily, which I think is because the inner silicone core is thinner than the one in Cush. They both have about the same amount of cushiness to the head, but the soft outer layer of Cush is much more uniform overall than Adam (due to the curve).

Performance

Cush is harness compatible; however I do not own a harness to be able to say how well it performs in one. However, the base and inner core are pretty sturdy and if I hold it by just the base it stays almost completely erect.

Despite how firm the inner core of Cush is, it still has a lot of give while in use. It is bendable, but not as much as other silicone toys I have by Tantus. The soft outer core is what makes this nice to use and allows you to comfortably clench or bend, because it adjusts to you. The combination of the two cores makes this work great for me, it is firm enough to give enough pressure where I need it, yet squishy enough so that it is comfortable and I do not have to worry about how hard I thrust. The ridges also make it so there is some g-spot stimulation, despite no curve; but there is not a lot of stimulation unless you angle it as you thrust.

Care and Maintenance

Care for your Cush is the same as it is for all silicone toys, and is very simple. Only use water-based lubricants. Silicone-based lubes can cause chemical reactions and ruin your toy, and avoid storing your toy near other silicone toys for the same reason. For cleaning, there are many options: you can boil it, bleach it in a 10% solution, throw it in the dishwasher (no soap though), use toy cleaner, or just wash with simple soap and water. It does collect lint and depending on how you store it, you may want to rinse it before use. Also, while it is non-porous, do not share unless you have sanitized it between partners or use a condom.

Packaging

Cush came in Tantus's standard clear plastic box with info on the box, and a plastic shell around the toy. The packaging is minimal, and a bit flimsy to keep for storage in my opinion. The shell could be used to help with storage, but I find them a bit bulky and instead made a pouch for mine (if you get or make a pouch, be sure it is a bit roomy, or you may have trouble getting the toy in it). The packaging is clear and you can see the toy, so it would need to be wrapped or bagged before giving it as a gift.

Experience

I feel like I need to note that the first Cush I received was blue, but it had a defect and I returned it for another (sadly blue was out of stock so I opted for purple rather than wait). Eden Fantasys was great about replacing it and very quick in getting the replacement out to me. The blue one's inner core was very off-center, but from what I've seen and read I am the first person to have that problem - so I wouldn't worry about it. It still seemed well made, likely just an accident with the inner core not being completely straight when the softer silicone was added.
I honestly had a hard time not saying to hell with it and keeping that one, the outer layer was so soft, and the color was so pretty. I had such a hard time picking a color in the first place that the change in color did not bother me, but I think I will have to get either the Flurry or Revolution in blue too (Heck, I may just collect all three in a different color each).

I love my Cush; it is just so gorgeous and satisfying. The size is great for me, very filling but with enough give to still be comfortable. The ridges rub nicely against my g-spot if I angle it slightly, and make a nice pop when going in. The material is great, because the ridges are definitely felt, but soft enough that they are not at all uncomfortable for me.
Follow-up commentary
Cush is still one of my favorites, despite having gotten a few other O2 toys. The extra ridge partway down just adds something a little different to it from the others. I just love the O2 material, and the Cush is just so pretty!
