The Amethyst by SSA Glass was designed as a g-spot dildo for women but also has a bulbed end that can be used vaginally or anally, with extra caution of course. Men can potentially get some p-spot stimulation out of this toy as well but don't hold me to it, I haven't tested that out in any way.

This toy is great for beginners and advanced users but size queens will want to look elsewhere since it really is not that big in diameter or length.

The Amethyst can be used as foreplay to tease and arouse your partner or yourself before having sex. The shape of this while inserted may make it difficult to use during sex but solo play is always fun with something like this and you could even "perform" in front of your partner if that's something they'd be into watching.

Also, glass can be warmed up or cooled down for some very interesting temperature play sessions.

The Amethyst is made of Pyrex glass which earns it a safety rating of 10/10. Pyrex is a food-grade material, hypoallergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. It feels very smooth all over, even on the bulbed end and is quite shiny. Glass is also very rigid which makes it ideal for g-spotting or p-spotting.

The Amethyst is available in purple, blue, green and pink.

There was no odor and the glass only slightly grabs on skin so a little lube goes a long way.

The Amethyst is about 7" in total length, has a bulbous head and bent shaft on one end. After the bent shaft it flares out a little into a base kind of shape before continuing on into two 1" bulbs followed by another 1 1/4" bulbed head. Each bulbed head is a little bit pointy to make insertion easier.

The entire toy is about 1" give or take a little in diameter and weighs 9.7 oz.

There were no visible gaps or seams in it but there were some very small bubble inclusions in the glass itself.

This toy is best used as a g-spot dildo vaginally but the bulbed end can be used if you're looking for a change up in texture or sensation. P-spotting is possible with this toy but like I mentioned before, it's not a guarantee. Also, temperature play is something this toy can accommodate so it is very versatile.

The Amethyst can be used anally if some extra caution is taken because there really is not a big enough base to prevent it from getting lost. Make sure your hands don't have lube all over them and keep a firm grip on the other end while using it and you should be fine.

Always be cautious when thrusting with unforgiving materials like glass because you don't want to bruise anything internally, that's never any fun unless you're into that kind of thing.

This toy is discreet to use since there are no moving parts to make a sound.

This toy is waterproof and can be completely submerged making clean up very easy and shower or tub use possible.

To clean wash this with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner or wipe down with a toy wipe.

To sterilize this toy boil it for a few minutes, toss it in the dishwasher or use a 10% bleach solution. Just be sure you rinse it off thoroughly and dry it before storing or using again to keep bleach away from sensitive body parts.

For storing this toy you could use the velvety storage pouch it came packaged in but you may want to fluff it up with some padding of your own like bubble wrap or crumpled newspaper for added protection. You could also just store this on a shelf or in a drawer with other toys since touching is not a issue.

The Amethyst came packaged wrapped up in bubble wrap inside a red velvety storage pouch with a black drawstring closure. The storage pouch is very minimal and I would have preferred something more padded while this toy was in transit. Beyond that the velvet storage pouch was nestled in crumpled brown paper inside the nondescript delivery box.

There were no booklets, warranties, or instructions included but it's use is pretty straightforward.

The packaging can be used for storage and is pretty discreet so wrapping before gifting is not necessary.

I received this as an Eden Friends special so I couldn't choose the color unfortunately, otherwise I would have chosen anything but pink, oh well it was a great deal regardless.

As soon as I got this in the mail I couldn't wait to use it. I'm always really excited when new glass toys arrive. When I opened it I noted the pink color was more pink than I'd like but nothing to be done about it. I also noted that it was much smaller than I thought it would be even though I read reviews and saw a video review on it.

Anyway, I lubed it up a little and went to town with the bent g-spot end which was super fun but didn't really incite any super g-spot orgasms. So I cleaned it off and dried it and flipped it around to try out the other end. It definitely gives some interesting sensations but it was barely long enough to pleasingly fill me. I'd have to say it's a great little toy regardless of it being so small. I just love glass so I couldn't pass it up and don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.
