Eleven - dildo discontinued by Njoy - review by Gunsmoke

When reviewing a toy like the NJoy Eleven it pays to read what others have said. When 8 out of 9 give a toy 5-stars - you know some great things are possible.

The title of my review talks about redemption - because I bought the Eleven from the one reviewer who found it did not meet her needs. It's actually the 3rd high quality toy that I have either swapped or purchased this way! I'm not phobic about sharing things and am confident that a little bleach or alcohol are more than enough to ensure safety - I typically use rubbing alcohol.

OK so back to the Eleven. For starters my wife's favorite toy of all time is the NJoy Pure Wand. The weight, shape and texture are just the right combination to earn the nick-name 'Gusher'. But when I saw the size and cost of the Eleven, I just thought - 'you have to be kidding!' But NJoy's reputation and our experience with the Pure Wand - some how kept that seed of doubt alive 'might it be the the one that takes her to the next level?'

Well one night when using the Pure Wand my wife asked if I was using the small end (1") - I assured her that I was indeed using the large end (1.5"). You see it's just those kinds of off-the-cuff comments that are clues to where to go next in our sex toy discovery process.

I immediately took another look at the Eleven - and was somewhat astounded by the hugely enthusiastic reviews from EF contributors that i highly respect like Carrie Ann, Sammi & Liz2. When the chance to experiment with this toy arose at a fraction of the list price - I jumped at it!

Then it arrived and I just though OMG - it's massive - knowing that I'd have to pick just the right moment to introduce this monster! Since my wife seems most adventurous about 2 weeks after her period - that's when I decided to go for it - see the experience section below for that info.

So for some of the basic review stuff - the dimensions & weights are exactly as described and as with all NJoy toys, the finish is meticulously smooth and well crafted.

I'm happy to say that my wife in now armed and dangerous - I have her keep it by the bed - for protection while I'm traveling - but I'm guessing that It'll get a lot more action than that!

There is a lot of commentary on solo play vs. partner play with all dildos - especially hard ones like metal & glass. My wife insists on partner play and honestly if you can't trust your partner with the Eleven - you may want to reconsider. It's so large and heavy that solo play may be impractical for all but the strongest hands out there.

One of the other reviewers (Sammi) indicated that her partner had to change arms frequently to keep this massive dildo in motion - and I have to admit that I too switched arms due to fatigue.

So I suggest you think about partner play - and if you go down that road, train your partner on something smaller like the Pure Wand or a glass toy. Once he learns how to help you orgasm without bruising your cervix - then move up to the Eleven.

Notice that even though it doesn't vibrate I rated it 5 bars for VROOM - the power is the result of weight not vibes - but make no mistake this is one powerful toy! I've never given a dildo a VROOM rating before - but the Eleven is just that good!

This was one of those rare occasions when my wife appeared scantily clad inviting me to join her in the boudoir - I figured if she's that hot - I'm going for it!

After our usual foreplay of an intimate massage my wife handed me one of favorite glass toys to get things going - I quickly ditched it and reached under the bed for the Eleven - the monster!

My concern was not with the 1.75" end - my wife has many toys of that size - but the hard ridges did have me a little worried - needlessly. Slipping the Eleven inside was effortless and the ridges were very effective at enhancing the sensation - mixing the slick smoothness of the head with the textured ripples is perfect.

I guess that's why I have so much respect for NJoy toys - they are so far out of the box - but so right on target it's scary! the NJoy design team should win the Nobel Peace Prize!

One of the reviewers (sophie2229) gave us a physics lesson about mass x velocity - and she's right - small movements create great pressure/pleasure. This formula brought my wife to a series of intense & wet orgasms that rank up there with the Pure Wand. In fact she admitted that she now prefers the Eleven over the Pure Wand - displacing her #1 toy out of a drawer with at least 50 toys in it!

I must say that we have not tried the 2" end. She struggles with the 2" end of the O2 Revolution which is very soft. I've taken some mental notes from the techniques used by other reviewers - like going to the 2" after the first orgasm. If this works - you'll be the second to know!

We still like it. I wondered if the Eleven might edge out her Pure Wand on the favorites list - but no, the Pure Wand is still her favorite - hands down #1 toy. The Eleven doesn't even come in second - the Alumina Flow takes that spot.

I suppose that's the problem with having so many fabulous toys to choose from. Even a great toy like the Eleven can end up languishing in the bull-pen! Since our 'rotation' is constantly in flux, I have no doubt that the Eleven will make the rotation by this spring.
