It has no smell or taste.

What makes this toy special is the texture. It has texture on every inch, with the exception of the smooth sides. Mine has 32 nubs running along what I believe to be the top, though others have reported different numbers. This is because these toys are hand-blown, making each one a unique piece of art! There are a series of veins on the bottom side, too. You can use it facing up or down, part of what makes this toy so versatile.

The handle not only helped me to grip the toy, which quickly became slippery, but also provided dual stimulation to either my clitoris or anus depending on which way it was facing. Everyone's anatomy is different, so this may or may not happen for you. The handle is visually appealing as well. The handle feels comfortable to me, and helps alleviate the weight of the toy.

The shape worked well for me, and should work well for many others due to it's versatility, as long as the texture isn't an issue. As mentioned previously, when the handle is facing downwards, the end will provide pinpoint stimulation. When the handle is facing upwards, the toy provides more of a bulging end for broader stimulation. If the spot you are tying to reach is more than 4" or 4 1/2" inches in, (account for variations in length) you may have trouble reaching it. But anyone with a spot more shallow than that will be just fine. It's not huge, but it feels fairly girthy due to the unyielding material. Keep this in mind.

The Icicles No. 24 performed beautifully. It was fairly easy to insert when lube was involved. Doing it that way may become irritating over time, to even those who enjoy texture. The firm glass put a nice amount of pressure on the G-spot and made me squirm! It felt comfortable to me when inserted, but I am not super-sensitive to texture. I am small and tight though, and it felt rather filling to me. I tried warming the toy and found it quite enjoyable. It retained heat very well, especially once it was inside. You could also try cooling the toy. The crevice between the two rows of nubs provided a "juicer effect," meaning it collects your juices and drains them. The juices will slide down the crevice towards the handle. Some may find this a con, because it means you may need extra lubrication and your hand will get messier. Some may find this a pro, because they enjoy juicer toys and seeing their juices come out. Just something to think about when considering the toy. Keep a good grip on the toy, because of how slippery it is, it may try to slide right out! This has happened to me a couple times. But if you have a good grip on it, you can prevent it from falling off the bed and breaking, and slide it right back in.

There is a variety in function in that there are so many ways to use this toy. This also means it takes some time to figure out which way to use it. There is no wrong or right way, but a certain side, temperature, or motion will feel better to you than another would, so invest some time in learning what you like. I would not say this toy is easy to use, at least initially.

This toy is very easy to care for and clean, but a little harder to store. Since glass is non-porous, it can be easily sterilized by boiling for 3 minutes or put on the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap. Since it can be sterilized, it can be shared. For an everyday clean, you can wash with soap and water, use toy or baby wipes, or sanitizing toy-cleaning spray and a wet washcloth. Be careful to get into all the cracks and crevices and in between the nubs, for safety's sake. I find this toy is not difficult to clean, because there are so many ways to do it! As far as storage, you can keep it in the Styrofoam tray, or use a padded toy pouch, which unfortunately is not included. Alternatively, you can wrap it in a cloth or sock if you plan to store it in a drawer. Make sure it doesn't get banged up, and check for chips and cracks before every use. This toy is compatible with all types of lube, but as always, my preference is water-based.

The packaging is gorgeous and very classy. It would make a great gift. It is a cardboard, recyclable box with "ICICLES" and "hand blown glass massager" and a gorgeous picture of the toy on the front flap. This flap lifts up to reveal the toy in all its glory through a little window. The area around the window is decorated with a lovely black on black brocade pattern. The inside of the flap has the same information as on the back, but a different picture. There are two full and identical pictures of No. 24 on either side of the box. This totals 4 unique pictures in all, and they are beautiful and glistening representations of the toy. The color on the pictures is much deeper than in person. Inside lies a Styrofoam tray with the toy nestled snugly inside, making this box great for storage. It is not discreet, as it shows pictures of the toy, the word 'massager' and suggestive information on the back and inside flap.

I had a great experience with this toy! I came hard, especially when I paired it with my LELO MIA. I got pretty messy from the juices sliding out onto my hand, and my wrist was a bit tired from using the heavy toy, but I was no worse for wear. I emerged from the bedroom happy and satisfied, not at all sore or bruised inside. I plan to use this toy many times in the future, and I am happy it will last me a lifetime!
