This Icicle is fantastic for anyone who wants to experiment with glass or texture. The different textures on both sides offer two very different, pleasing sensations.
This dildo is fantastic for g-spotting. The bumpy side is sure to please if you're into texture, and the flat vein-y side is wonderful if you prefer a broader surface. The looped handle on this toy makes using it to thrust with a breeze. My only warning would be to warm up a bit first, since the tip of the toy is very pointed and could be uncomfortable at first.
The handle also makes this toy safe for anal use, however the tip might be a concern.
This toy is made of Borosilicate, or Pyrex, glass. It's extremely durable; I accidentally dropped it not long after I opened it up, and it's okay. I dropped it from about four feet up, onto a hardwood floor. I thought that I had broken it before I even had the chance to use it, but when I picked it up and carefully inspected it, I saw that there wasn't even a scratch, dent, or crack on it. Also, since it's made of glass, this toy is compatible with any type of lube.
This toy is lovely. In my opinion, it is the most attractive tentacle shaped toy I've seen. I think a lot of that has to do with the gorgeous pink glass that the toy is made of. The toy is much more colorful in person, though, as pictures just can't seem to capture the color.
I've described it as being shaped like a tentacle, but some people think it looks like a tongue. Whatever you think it looks like, this is definitely the prettiest toy in my collection.
The front of this dildo is very bumpy with a valley in between the bumps. The texture on the front is a bit much for me so I usually turn it over and use the veiny side to stimulate my g-spot
The back of the toy is has a raised texture, which reminds me of the veins on the bottom of a tongue.
The first time that I played with this dildo, I thought that it might not be suitable for thrusting. The tip was kind of painful at first, but a little more lube took care of that. The toy is tapered, so you might have to take a few moments for your body to adjust to it. After I adjusted to it, it was smooth sailing.
The bumps feel great against my vaginal opening, but can be a bit much for my front vaginal wall. The handle makes it easy to rotate though; if you ever decide you want to change textures, all it takes is a flick of the wrist.
This toy is incredibly easy to care for. This is my first glass toy, and I was a little wary at first. I thought it would be delicate and flimsy, that it might have cracked during shipping, and that I wouldn't be able to use it. I'm glad to say I was wrong -- this is one sturdy toy. As I mentioned above, it survived a reasonably high fall without a chip or crack.
I clean this toy the same way I clean most of my toys, with soap and water, or with toy wipes. Since this toy is nonporous and has no motor, you can even boil it or wash it in the top rack of your dishwasher.
The Icicle No. 24 was both my first glass toy, and my first textured toy. In both respects, it did not disappoint. My only issue with it is the pointy tip, but otherwise this is one of my favorite toys.

Still the most fun tentacle around! This toy has really piqued my interest in glass and texture, and I plan to add more toys like it to my collection. Since I wrote my review I've dropped it a few times while cleaning it and it doesn't have a dent, chip, scratch or crack on it. This glass is really durable and safe. The texture provides an amazing sensation and when I'm in the mood for texture, only this will do! I think this would make a great introduction to glass and texture. And If you don't like it, I'm sure it makes a great paperweight!
