G4 Big boss - g-spot vibrator by Fun Factory - review by RainyDay

Wow! This was my first purchase at EF. I am pleased to say I was not disappointed when this big boy showed up in the post! The dimensions described in the online catalog are dead on, but only in person can you get a true appreciation of the truely massive size of this toy. I suggest anyone considering this product watch the video on the site to get a good perspective of its size in comparision to the rest of the world. So that said, was it TOO big? Absolutely NOT! With proper foreplay and lubrication and motivation, wink wink nudge nudge, anything is possible, and it is most certainly worth that extra bit of effort.

What first drew me to this purchase was the quest for a bedroom toy that didn't eat batteries like candy. I really became interested in the induction rechargeable system (a closed system also makes for safer water play). The closed unit means no fussing over loose rechargeble batteries or regular batteries. You simply pop it in its charging base and let it go. It does have a long initial charging cycle, so no play right out of the post box, but after that, it charges quickly, and runs and runs and runs. You'll run out of steam before it does.

It has a very smooth, silky silicone cover over a harder inner core. This meant it had a tad less flexibility than I prefer, but was in no way uncomfortable. It has several speeds and patterns to choose from and for its size and power, was actually quite quiet. It seems to have an all over VROOM, so if that's what works for you, you've found the right toy. The shape is a little more bulbous at the top, skinnier (HA) in the middle and then wider at the base. I think a little more vroom near the base would benefit this toy greatly.

Interestingly enough, the control panel on the handle lights up, which lights the whole handle. I'm not sure whose brilliant idea that was, but it's a loser in my book. You just don't need it, and to top it off, it makes you feel like you've got a glow stick between... well, you know. It surprised us!

I would ding it a star for what I consider design flaws. The buttons on the handle are in an awkward position, although easy to push. I wish it had a discreet case while it charged, and it is finicky about HOW it is positioned while charging. My biggest ding is for the silicone cover. There is an open seam between the handle and the silicone, and the core. This area screams to me as a place for ickies to grow, both in the seam and UNDER the silicone. I am VERY careful, therefore, to clean it well after and BEFORE each use. Sadly, I linger on this during use and can't get by it during use, so it doesn't come out very often.
