Yes Boss!

The G4 Big Boss is a rechargeable, silicone vibrator that is good for a variety of uses. With its curved shape, it is designed primarily for g-spot stimulation, which it does very well. I've also found it works great for clitoral stimulation. It is probably not the best choice for anal use due to its lack of a flared base. It is good for both solo use and with a partner, and with it being a very quiet toy, it is a good choice for someone who has roommates to worry about.

Big Boss comes in both black and a bright orange, both of which have a white plastic handle. The insertable portion of the Big Boss is made from a velvety silicone and the handle is made from a smooth plastic. The silicone has some drag to it so don't be shy with using a water based lube when using this toy. There are a couple veins and a fairly prominent head which add to the texture, but not a whole lot. They can be felt, but probably wouldn't be too bothersome for most people. The silicone is relatively firm, but still has a bit of give to it. It does bend pretty well which makes it easier to insert. I've included some pictures to give an idea of how much bend you can expect.

The material does tend to attract lint and hair to it, so it definitely needs to be stored away in a place that will keep these things off of it unless you don't mind doing a lot of cleaning. Despite gathering dust easily, silicone is a very safe and clean material. If sterilized properly is safe to share between partners because silicone is non-porous and does not harbor bacteria.

The Big Boss really lives up to its name. It is really big! It has a wide girth at 1.75 inches in diameter. It is 9 inches long, with 6.5 inches of that being insertable.

I thought the shape of the Big Boss was great. It is slightly curved with a prominent head. It is somewhat realistic in shape, but is certainly not the most realistic style toy out there. It has a handle that is pretty unique and has a hole that you can put your fingers through. I didn't find that all that helpful for solo use, and I tend to hold it on the outside of the handle. My partner did appreciate the handle though. He found it much easier to hold while using on me than other toys that we have tried.

There are three buttons on the Big Boss which control the vibrations of the toy. The controls are easy to operate, just press and hold the buttons to turn on/off or to change intensity or pattern. There is a + and - button which increase and decrease the intensity of the vibrations. The third button looks like an asterisk and it changes the feel of the vibrations. This is where the Big Boss differs from many other toys that are out there. Most toys have different patterns of vibrations such as pulses while the actual vibration itself feels the same. In the Big Boss there aren't really patterns, but rather different qualities of vibrations. Some feel more rumbling and some feel more throbbing etc. There are four different settings to choose from.

The vibrations are centered around the base of the toy, but they do travel very well throughout the toy. The vibrations are very strong and really travel through the body well. Considering how strong it really is, it is actually very quiet. It does make some noise but you would not be able to hear it through a closed door.

One of the best things about the Big Boss is that it is rechargeable. It is part of Fun Factory's Click N' Charge line so the charger you receive with the Big Boss will work with any of the other toys you may own from that line. The directions state that before you use it the first time you should charge the toy fully, and that it may take up to 6 hours. It actually took mine a little bit longer than that to charge the first time, but no worries it won't take that long every time to charge it. The charger attaches to the toy by magnet and lines up with the Fun Factory design on the toy. This can be tricky to line up sometimes, but it does light up to let you know that a connection has been made.



The Big Boss is waterproof which is great both for cleaning and for play. It has held up well in the bath and shower so far, and from what I can tell it seems to heave a good seal on it to keep water out.

With the Big Boss being waterproof it is pretty easy to clean. I just use antibacterial soap and water to clean it before and after each use, but a bleach solution or toy cleaner would work well too. Silicone is a non-porous material, and if cleaned properly, you won't need to worry about bacteria growing on it and causing problems.

Being a silicone toy you will want to use a water based lube when using it. Using a silicone based lube can hurt the material, so try and avoid that if possible.

It is a good idea to store the Big Boss in a place where it will be away from dust because it really picks up a lot of it. Something as simple as a ziplock bag would work for storage.

When I first got my package I was worried about whether I had gotten the wrong toy. I'm not sure if it was a mistake, but my box had a picture of the G4 Calla on the cover. When I opened up the box though I was relieved to find that is was the Big Boss inside and I had received the correct toy after all. There are instructions included and an insert with the rest of the Fun Factory line as well as a sample of toyfluid a water based lube. It's not the best box for storage and isn't really discreet but it can be used as storage if needed.

The click n' charge charger came in a separate box from the toy and also had its own set of instructions included.

I had not had much experience with toys that had a large girth up until this point. I was really excited to receive my Big Boss and see how it would work for me. My partner was very excited as well and was very happy to try it out on me. Unfortunately he was a little too enthusiastic about it and I ended up bleeding and in quite a bit of pain despite using lube. I was worried about whether or not this was going to be a toy that I was going to be able to use. Fortunately I have gotten the hang of it since then and know a little bit more about what my body can handle and what it can't.

I certainly learned the lesson of why it is important to go slow, warm up with a smaller toy, and use a lot of lube. If you are like me and don't have much experience with large toys please heed this advice so you don't end up with a painful experience like I did.
