This isn't too much of a problem most of the time, however.

The Nea is small and artistic-looking enough that it doesn't really look like a vibrator. This is definitely not your Mama's rabbit vibe! The controls on the Nea are pretty intuitive. You push one button to turn on or increase intensity, and the other to lower intensity or turn it off. Once the vibrator is on the highest level, you push the first button again to cycle through the patterns. I think it gets plenty buzzy enough, but I can tell it might not be enough for many people. The Nea does tend to send vibrations through your whole arm, so that is a downside. At the highest levels it can be pretty loud, so keep that in mind. The biggest issue I have with the controls is that I can't figure out how to lock it (if that's even an option on this one). It tends to get bumped and go crazy in my backpack or purse, and since the battery is rechargeable, I can't exactly pop that out before transporting. I should probably overcome my laziness and find my old instruction manual for it.

The Nea is easy to clean. I just splash a little soap and water over it and call it good. Keep in mind that you can't sterilize this or even submerge it due to the little charger port on top, so you probably won't want to share it too much.
