This beautiful, sleek, ergonomic egg is perfect for clitoral stimulation, and for use on nipples. The Lelo Nea is made of super high-gloss, super-smooth hard plastic and comes either in black or rose. There's a lovely, cute-sy floral motif on the back of her, which makes her oh-so girly. There's no distinct smell or taste, so unsightly flavors or odors from this little lady won’t interrupt you.

The slick, black plastic makes the texture almost silk-like when this toy is used with lube. There's no drag at all when moving Nea around, which I personally love.

Nea's design has me hooked. Seriously. Holding her is incredibly easy, and my hand has never cramped up, even through extended sessions. The ergonomic design is well-thought, and fits my body well with some adjustment and maneuvering. The slight bend in the middle of Nea is supposed to make clitoral stimulation a breeze, and I find it to be just that. The size of the toy makes Nea perfect to carry around in your purse — I won't lie, that's where mine is right now — and easy to transport for travel. She even comes with her own little satin travel bag.

Nea's controls can be a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of them, they become second nature. Nea has 2 buttons on her, that's it. Just 2. If you hold the buttons down simultaneously until they flash, the controls will lock and prevent any accidental turning on — a great feature for when she's travelling or not being used. To unlock, you simply hold the buttons down simultaneously until the lights flash.

Nea also comes with 5 different settings, the first being normal vibrations. To access the other 4 settings, you simply turn Nea all the way up with the right button and hold for about 5 seconds. The pattern will start once you release. To cycle through the patterns, you simply press the right button. My personal favorite functions are pattern 1 (the standard vibration), and pattern 5, which is akin to a wave. My one complaint about the patterns is that there is no intensity control for patterns 2-5; if you decide to use the patterns, it's full blast until you decide to go back to regular vibrations. The main motor and vibrating component is located in Nea's tip, so the vibrations are fairly concentrated and intense. The toy is pretty quiet considering how powerful she is. I have roommates and I wouldn't be concerned about them hearing her.

Nea is not waterproof, so don't use her in the water.

Nea is incredibly easy to care for. Since she's rechargeable, there's no need to worry about batteries. Cleaning is a snap with antibacterial soap and water. If you happen to get water in the charging port, simply blow into the port to air it out. Nea is plastic, so she's compatible with both silicone- and water-based lubes. Oil should also be fine. Storing Nea is super easy. I just throw her into the travel bag and into a drawer. You could probably leave her out, too. People probably wouldn't know what she is.

Lelo has awesome packaging, which I'm always sucker for. You could use the box as a storage box, but it is a bit clunky. I much prefer using the travel bag.

I bought my first Nea almost 7 years ago, back in 2005.
