The Nea is a clitoral vibrator that can be used for nipples as well and the labia. It is fairly discreet and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand unless you have a really tiny hand. It is great for more pinpoint stimulation, rather than broad stimulation. It is not for vaginal or anal play.

The Nea can be used in intercourse to add additional clitoral stimulation for heterosexual couples. It is very travel friendly as it locks to prevent accidental powering on.

Nea is made of hard, shiny, smooth plastic. It has no drag to it at all which is very nice and means you don't really need any extra lube for this toy, and in fact, lube makes it more likely to slip out of your hands and make you frustrated. However, this also means it does not add any extra stimulation. There is not really a special way to hold it as it can be held from many different angles. The Nea has absolutely no smell at all, nor taste.

The Nea is fairly small. I can fit it in the palm of my hand easily though I do have larger hands. However, it's not TOO small - just about the the right size. The design is black with pink flowers which is slightly girly but not in an in-your-face way. The shape is slightly curved, and while it might not fit all anatomy, it fits mine rather snugly and sits well. It's a good size and shape for anyone - beginner or advanced. It is quite discreet and easy to hide. It is not obvious as a vibrator unless someone picks it up and turns it on. The Nea is especially good for travel as it has a locking function.

This is where the design fails. The controls aren't in the best place. I normally place the Nea, so it conforms to my mons. The buttons aren't that accessible from this position which is the best position to use it in. By applying too much pressure, I have accidentally changed settings. There is no way to lock the settings while in use.

There are two buttons: both on the 'bottom' side of the Nea. The first setting is an adjustable constant vibration. The next three are a slow pulsation, then medium, then fast. The fifth setting is what I like to call 'roller coaster', as it goes up and down. None except the first setting is adjustable. The vibrations are deep but buzzy at times. They can be felt throughout the toy though they are more focused in the curved point. The first few levels of vibration on the first setting are really quite pathetic. I would say that, even at the highest setting, the strength of the vibrations are only medium. Really, probably a 3.5 in vibration.

The Nea is rechargable, and it's fairly easy to charge with a typical charging port, and I've never had any issues with getting it in. The manual says that two hours of charge will supply seven hours of use. While I believe this, I always charge it a little more than that - just in case. The manual also says to never charge it more than 24 hours. I love that the Nea is rechargable. It saves me from buying batteries. At the price that it is, it better be rechargable!

This is a fairly easy toy to care for! Because it is made of hard plastic, it is non-porous. While I find I don't usually need any lube with this toy, it can be used with both silicone and water based lubes if absolutely needed. The best way to clean it is with toy cleaner and cloth, baby wipes, or soap and water. If using water, be careful not to get any water in the charging port! Some other reviewers warn of water around the buttons, but I have never had an issue with that. The best way to store it is to use the white satin bag it comes with.

Like all LELO toys, the packaging for the Nea is quite elegant. It comes in a small black box and with a white satin bag which is great for storage. However, I have found that Lelo's satin bags can fall apart very quickly. The black box is great for gift giving - the only hint of anything strange is a very small faint embossed 'LELO' on the top.

The Nea was only my second toy, and it brought me my first orgasm. (The first toy I bought was a really horrid bullet) Although it's not my favorite vibrator anymore, I am still somewhat fond of it at times.

The first time I used the Nea, I used lube. This is not needed, folks. It's plenty smooth and slippery enough on its own.
