Nea has been designed as a clitoral vibrator, although there's nothing to stop you from using her to tease other erogenous zones, or even from trying to use her as a pinpoint back massager. She comfortable for use during sex or on your own and features some nice rumbly vibrations.

Nea is made of a very nice, smooth, shiny, almost slippery hard plastic. She's non-porous and phthalates free, and also has no smell or taste. She'll work best for those who know they don't like much drag.

Nea is small but in a good way, easily fitting in a cradle by the first two fingers of your hand. Larger hands might only need one finger, or might find her too small to easily hold, but most people should have no problems holding on to her at all. She's 3" long by 1 1/2" wide at her base, with the front being more of a tip to provide more pinpoint clitoral stimulation. From the top she's got a gentle visual curve, but from underneath it's more of an angle with the two buttons on the wider bottom portion and the top angled down for easier use.

It's not immediately obvious what Nea is, and you can probably pass her off as a pinpoint back massager or something for your neck. Because of her very small size and the fact that you can lock the buttons, travel is very easy with Nea.

When you first get her, the buttons are locked. To unlock them now or relock them in the future, just press them both down at the same time until they light up. When locked, pressing them will do absolutely nothing. When unlocked, pressing the one on the right will turn her on and cycle through the vibrations. The buttons light up white when you press them, and when the battery is low they blink red every few seconds to let you know. I had a hard time counting how many solid vibration settings there were, but even on the highest setting she's pretty darn quiet. You'd be fine under some blankets or with the door shut. You can press the "up" button as many times as you want to make sure that you hit the highest steady setting without hitting the patterns. If you want the patterns, press and hold the "up" button for a second or two. The first one is a pulsing pattern on the highest vibration, the second is the same but faster, the third is even faster, and the fourth is a quick roller coaster up through the vibrations and back down.

The vibrations themselves are located in the tip of Nea and feel very strong on the fingers, enough to make them numb but not itchy. In use however, the vibrations somehow feel less strong, although still pretty rumbly. I find that I end up using her on the highest steady setting the most. She's also not waterproof, so make sure you keep her plenty far away from water.

You'll want to make sure to charge Nea with her included charger before use. The good news is that she only takes a few hours to fully charge, and her buttons glow solid when she's fully charged. You should make sure that you don't charge her for more than 24 hours. Cleaning is also pretty easy, because she's never going to get inserted anywhere, all you really need is to wipe her down with a damp cloth. If you want an even more slippery time, you can use any body safe lube you'd like with her. She comes with a pretty white satin storage pouch that you can keep her in to keep her finish from getting scratched at all.

Lelo's packaging is always the epitome of class it seems. After you remove the cardboard box that tells you which model you have, you're left with a black box that contains the Nea, a charger, the storage pouch, information on the warranty, and a user manual for the Nea/Lily/Yva, which are all basically the same only with a few textural differences. Lily is made of a more matte plastic, and Yva I believe is gold plated.

The packaging can be used as storage if you really want, and it's definitely nice enough to give as a gift.

I love that Nea just cups the body so well and doesn't get in the way even if I have to hold her in place, and I've found that I reach for her more during sex than I do my beloved bullets galore, and shes even easier to travel with since I can lock the buttons and make sure that she gets where we're going with as much power as she had when we left. While I do enjoy the vibrations, they do leave something to be desired for me, since I like to be able to play with different steady vibrations and the only one that I really enjoy here is the strongest one. It's not a bad thing until I want something a little stronger and can't go up any higher. As compared to say, MiMi, Nea is easier to hold for sure, but the vibrations aren't as strong. I can get off with the weaker vibrations, but those who need more power should look elsewhere.
