There's a beautiful sort of innocence that permeates this porno. I think it stems from the fact that it's a parody of a children's cartoon. On top of that, it's set in the 70's. Let's admit, porno and sex in general seemed more innocent in the 70's during that era of free love before AIDS. That spirit is captured in this film, along with the sweet sexual experimentation that the Scooby gang is partaking in. I find that a lot of porno has a cold, professional sort of feel where it's all about the mechanical acts. This film doesn't really have that. It's warm and silly and innocent in comparison.

I enjoyed this film as a lover of cheesy b-movies, and someone who revels a variety of sexual acts. Though this film does have a lot of the familiar porno formula (blow job beginnings with facial endings), there are definitely some surprises along the way. There's a random hook up at a party, anal play with dirty talk, bathroom masturbation, a girl-girl scene, and a foursome. Actors stay in character while they are fucking, which adds a silly spin to even the most typical sex scenes.

There are acting and slapstick scenes that connect the sex scenes together. These are all hilariously cheesy. There's even an option on the second DVD disc to watch the film in "Party Mode." This plays only those in-between scenes and cuts out all the hardcore sex. I can't imagine watching it in this way myself, but... hey, you never know.

Sex Scene #1 is between Chad Alva as Shaggy and Lilly LaBeau as a fairy that Shaggy meets at a costume party. She is very forward about her sexual interest in him, and they quickly retire to a bedroom. This scene is accompanied by a good rock n' roll track, and they both look like they are having some good slutty fun.

Sex Scene #2 happens between Micheal Vegas as Fred and Bree Olsen as Daphne. These two are the only committed couple in the story. Their characters are air headed, and their sexual romp has the undertone of making a baby. Hilariously, though, they are still experimenting with how to do this and decide that if Daphne swallows Fred's cum, it will go down into her stomach, "Where the baby comes from!" It's great. They also aren't as vanilla as one might think. Daphne likes to talk dirty--something I appreciate because I don't hear that very often in porn. Also she likes having her butt played with which is fun to watch. The scene is underscored with this innocent sort of teenage anthem that goes well with their characters.

Sex Scene #3 is a masturbation scene with Bobbi Starr as Velma. It's set in the bathroom where Velma is overhearing Shaggy describe his sexual escapades from the night before. Remember the fairy? She gets so hot and bothered and we learn that she has been harbouring a major crush on Shaggy. So she runs off to the loo and we get to see her pleasuring herself. This is a really classy looking scene. It's well-lit, and Velma's legs spread with those orange knee-high socks and red pumps is a vision to remember.

Sex Scene #4 is the subsequent hooking up of Velma (Bobbi Starr) and Shaggy (Chad Alva). This was one of my less favourite scenes, but it's still hot in it's own right. It's sweet because Velma really has that eagerness of someone who's been lusting after their partner for a long time. She's kind of dorky and really enthusiastic about Shaggy's cock.

Sex Scene #5 is between Velma (Bobbi Starr) and Daphne (Bree Olsen). It's a fantasy hook up for many people who have watched Scooby Doo, I'm sure. So it does have it's place. I didn't really go for it, because the sex seemed kind of forced to me, more so than the rest of the film. Can't win 'em all, I guess!

Sex Scene #6 is a group sex scene in which all of the "Scooby Gang" get it on together! It's the perfect top off for this movie, and everyone looks like they are having fun going at it. There's partner swapping and a whole variety of sexual acts. This scene makes for a great grand finale.

Party Version: Watch the film with all the sex scenes cut out. Just goes to show there was a lot of energy put into telling the story in this film.
