I love, love, love this item. Personally, it's in my top three lubes. They are all tied for the top spot for different reasons. I love its lack of smell, and the way it feels. I mean, for a water based, I love this more than my toys sometimes. Seriously, this lube makes manual stimulation as awesome as it was when I just figured out what masturbation was. If you're alone or with your partner it is a good choice. However, just for everyone to know. It does have parabens.

Maximus is one of the best lubricants that I have tried so far. It is long lasting and stays where you place it, without leaving a sticky residue behind. Bodywise Limited created an amazing lubricant I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great water based lube!

If you want to train up to larger toys or larger body parts, a lube with a lot of cushion will be of great value to you. It's worth paying a little higher price for the comfort. Additionally, if plug retention is part of your pleasure seeking, the staying power of Maximus is an excellent choice.

I think the product functions well, however I would not purchase this item again. The burning sensation really takes away from the whole experience. It should be pleasurable, not painful.

This thick water-based lubricant isn't my favorite, but if you're allergic to glycerin like me, it's one compromise that might work.

After hearing everyone rave about Maximus I had to order a bottle. After trying it for myself, I'm confused about all the fuss. I prefer thick lubes, but I'm just not a fan of the texture of Maximus. It performs pretty well for a water based lube, but doesn't last as long as my hybrids.
Won't drip, fairly long lasting, pump top bottle, for some: no glycerin.
Arrived gritty, feels goopy, for some: parabens.

We use this on a variety of toys, from glass, silicone to plastic. With each product we have not had any issues with the consistency, unlike we've had with a few other brands of lube that we've used.

I really like this lube - it's thick but easy to spread, and works well for pretty much everything except oral - the taste is...unfortunate. Only reason to avoid it is if you've had issues with parabens before.

Maximus remains my favourite lubricant for anal, and though it isn't my favourite vaginal lube - that distinction goes to Liquid Silk - I have no aversion to using it if it's the first one that I grab out of the drawer, despite it's messiness. Just keep it away from your taste buds!

Like sticking things inside you? Like sticking your thing in other things? Grab some of this Maximus and you'll be sticking things everywhere. This lube raises the bar for a water-based formula and puts the others out there to shame. It's thick, slippery, and makes for an amazing anal lube. With over 1000 votes, this can easily be the most popular lube on EF. It has an excellent price/value/quantity ratio and will last for some time (the bottle that is, and the lube on you). Aside from its bad taste and some allergy concerns, it's still recommended to give it a try. It can become your go-to lube for regular sex!

All in all, when I first started using this lube I was really pleased with the texture and feel. Unfortunately, the fast drying time took away from those great qualities.

If you've felt a slight burning sensation upon insertion, don't even think about choosing Maximus. If you've never felt discomfort using lube, why risk it? If you've never used lube, don't make a bad start with something that could irritate you. Beginner excitement shouldn't be dampened in any way by a risky purchase.

This is an awesome lubricant. I have seriously purchased 3 more bottles just to keep them around, but I doubt I will run out any time soon. I will probably end up giving one or two bottles away as a gift. This is great for women prone to yeast infections or UTI's and I wish I had known about this stuff sooner! Perfect for everyone!

Maximus is a great, long-lasting, glycerine free, water based lube that I highly recommend to everyone. It has parabens so I would avoid this if you think it might be a problem. It is nice and thick and doesn't need to be reapplied which makes this a great alternative to silicone lubes. It has a nice smooth glide to it and doesn't become sticky, tacky, or stringy.

Don't let the bad taste of the Maximus deter you from purchasing this product. It is so easy to dispense the lube and it is so effective at doing what it must do. If I had to choose one waterbased lube for the rest of my life it would have to be the maximus. It is good all around for both anal and vaginal and it is safe with all toys. Again, I don't know why I waited so long to try it!

If you're looking for an anal lube that will work in a lot of different situations, buy Maximus. I haven't found anything better for it. If you're looking for a general purpose lube, or for something for a more specific kind of experience, you might shop around, but Maximus is a great place to start.

Maximus is, hands down, the best lube I have ever tried (out of about a dozen!). It satisfies everything I want from a lube, especially the complete lack of stickiness! It's also long lasting, perfectly thick, exceptionally slippery, and never stains.

Give it a try and see if it is for you. Find out if you can tolerate the taste. (I could) The feeling of the lube was natural and did not leave a feeling of sticky residue. It did not leave me running for the bathroom right after to wash it off.

Maximus by itself is too slippery for masturbation. You can't get a good grip! However, mixing Maximus with Cetaphil moisturizing lotion changes the experience entirely, luxurious sensation! Works well in the shower.

Maximus has very quickly become my go-to lube. Because it is water based, I don't have to be careful as to what toys to use it with and can be washed off of skin, clothes, and most fabrics easily. It provides a great thick layer of slipperiness that I've never found in another lube without a runny consistency. Amazing for anal and great for any other kind of play you're into.

Maximus looks like a sweet deal because it is made of highly purified water and helps cut down on infections. But reapplication is needed as it dries fast and becomes flaky. Maximus is not a great lubricant for use with sex toys, but may be alright for someone wanting slickness during intercourse.

The main selling point for me was the antibacterial properties of this product, this is a huge incentive. I'm not personally aware of any other product that has this feature. The con that I listed, although it might turn some people off it REALLY isn't that big of a deal. I felt that I needed to be critical though being that this is a review and it is tough to come up with a negative for this product.

I can easily say after trying various brands of lubricant, ranging from KY to Astroglide, that this is the best you can get. Thick enough for versatility and comes off very easy and clean. Maximus is a very good lubricant but I feel it is a bit too thick for vaginal sex and playtime with toys, and my husband doesn't like it for masturbation. But it is perfect for anal. And for that reason alone, I will replace it when it runs out.

Good lube, although some people might have some minor side effects due to the composition. A small (1 ounce) sample pack would be nice, to see if it is right for you.

Maximus is a thick lubricant, and as far as my body is concerned, it is great for anal play but not so great for vaginal play. Nothing will ever beat natural lubricant of course, but this is a decent substitute. Maximus is not a wise choice for small storage spaces, since it's a pump top. There is no obnoxious scent, but there is a bitter taste. So be sure to wash any area coated in Maximus, before sticking a tongue there. Maximus is also rather pricey.
Worked great for anal play, doesn't stain or damage condoms or toys, easier to wash off.
Pricey, pump is bad for small storage, gummy when I used vaginally.

This lube will not disappoint! It is a very slick, very smooth, very pleasing water-based lube, meant for use with toys and partners and is appropriate for vaginal and anal play. It is definitely a high quality lube that cannot be beat by any pharmacy brand lube available out there.

Maximus is an absolutely wonderful lubricant. It is water-based which means that it is safe to use with all your toys, condoms, whatever. It is nice and thick which makes it great for anal sex. It lasts a long time and doesn’t get gummy. It just works for whatever you want it to do. The only drawback for me is it isn’t great to use in the shower. Lelo can be hit or miss, and this is a perfect example. This is a perfectly acceptable water-based lube, but there's nothing particularly outstanding about it in my opinion. The texture felt slightly gummy instead of as slippery as I would have liked. It's fine as a freebie, but I wouldn't seek it out otherwise.

Wet Gel lubricant wasn't my favorite. It became sticky too quickly and I found it irritating. It may work better for someone else, but I know I won't be buying it again; I didn't finish the bottle I had.

The lasting quality of this product is essentially what has sold me on Wet Gel Lubricant. Everything else is just icing on the cake, so to speak. For the price, you can't find a better lubricant.

The Wet Gel Original Lubricant is not a good lubricant for vaginal/anal use because it tends to stay a bit sticky. However, that's what makes it absolutely perfect for male sex toy use - it will lubricate the toy while giving you some extra, comfortable friction.

Wet Gel is a great lube for those not wanting to make a large investment and who need just a little something extra. It is compatible with condoms, and just about any toy you can think of. However, it may not hold up for extended sessions of play without multiple reapplications, and I personally wouldn't recommend it for anal, because you don't want that area drying out during sex.

Wet Light, in my experience, is horrible. It tastes horrendous, has an odor, doesn't work as a lubricant very well and leaves me feeling disappointed. I would probably never recommend this lube to anyone because of this and the fact it left me feeling smelly, sticky, and with a burning tongue. The only good thing about it is the package was educational

I have bought this lube several times because it's a well made lube. I would put it up against Liquid silk any day plus it doesn't look like semen. I also like it because it has no smell or taste that could hinder my sexual experience.

It is a water-based lubricant, however, depending on what this will be used for would make up whether to use it or not. I will be shopping around for another brand that would be better for anal.

This lube was worth it to me as it hard to find a perfect water based lube. I found this one to be a great deal and nice feel. The need to reapply and the bad taste are not too bad of a fall back for me, as long my lube is not sticky and messy I am a happy girl. I think results may vary a lot with lubricants, but I would certainly recommend giving this one a try.

Unfortunately, our feelings toward H20 are not the nicest. For someone who enjoys more of a thick drag during play, rather than a slick surface, this might be your BFF. I for one, will never use it again. If you're a fan of Liquid Silk, this will not measure up and if you're looking for a water based lubricant that acts as a silicone, look elsewhere. Perhaps Pink would be a better option for that.

Over all this lube is fantastic! Coming from someone who really dislikes using lube. It's easy and effortless to use, and not noticeable at all. No smell, and super light! If you're looking for a great water based lube to use for vaginal or anal use, this is a great buy. I wouldn't recommend this one for hand jobs though as it can get sticky when using it for that. There's no odor, and it doesn't have a bad taste. Even though it didn't work well for a hand job, I still give this one four stars since it still kept me wet and slippery!

This is now my favorite lube. It is hypoallergenic and feels very slick and natural. It isn't sticky or greasy, and doesn't get flaky when it dries. It simply absorbs into your skin like a lotion would. It's vegan friendly, animal friendly, glycerin free, and all-natural. What's not to love?

Personally, I think this lubricant, though very nice and very chemically clean, is more useful in quick personal pleasure. But as sex is concerned, the lubricant leaves the skin soft but not slippery enough for my preference, to use during sex.

Sliquid Silk is a decent lube, on par with most average water based lubes. It does have mostly organic ingredients, is paraben and glycerin free, contains organic botanicals and is body safe for pretty much anyone. It's not as silky as you expect it to be, however, making it less impressive as a hybrid lube.

For the price, the amount, and how long the bottle lasts, this lube is numero uno. It's perfect for pretty much every occasion. After only using it a handful of times, it quickly became my favorite lube. Probe Thick and Rich is everything that I hoped for. It excelled at what lubricants do best -- lubricating. It's not a massage oil or a flavored liquid for oral sex. It's just a great way to keep all the moving bits moving. My only gripes are that the product dries tacky and that the bottle cap lends itself to messy dispensing. Probe Thick & Rich is a fine all-purpose lube-- just be aware that there are some aspects which might not work for you. Water based, safe for toys & condoms, it's also really economical for the amount you get, but I could see someone being disappointed in their investment if they didn't like it.
Paraben-free, comes in a pump bottle, affordable for the quantity you get.
Maybe too much if you don't like it, it's stringy, contains glycerin.

The best and probably the purest lube I have ever used, and by far the thickest and longest lasting of the water based variety. Has a wonderful, natural feel without getting sticky. Non irritating. Has been around since 1981.

This is probably the thickest water-based lube you can buy. It's worth the money if the stringiness doesn't scare you. It's even worth it despite the cap. It doesn't have flashy packaging or obscene pictures on the bottle. This is an ideal lube for those who find thinner lubes difficult to apply neatly.

After using Probe Thick and Rich a couple of times, it soon became our favorite lubricant. Other lubes were either too runny, too irritating, or too synthetic. I would recommend this product; however not to everyone. This product is for specific tastes, so if you like a thicker lubricant then this one is for you. Just be careful - it may be thicker than you anticipated, particularly after some play. However, it's a good quality lube and fun times will ensue no matter what.

Definitely a product I would recommend, it comes in a fairly well sized bottle so it'll last me at least a good long time. Unfortunately like most it can't be used in the shower, but that's fine by me so long as I have enough for normal play.

Wet Naturals Beautifully Bare is a great natural feeling lubricant that's hypoallergenic and pH balanced. The Liquid Silk by Sliquid is not a lubricant I would recommend with anyone who has sensitive skin, allergies, or is prone to Urinary Tract Infections. Liquid Silk feels great and can really go the distance. That small bit of silicone gives it great consistency and staying power, but also means that it isn't versatile enough to be my "go to" lube. If a hybrid lube is what you're looking for and you don't mind parabens, Liquid Silk is definitely worth it.

I can't recommend Liquid Silk enough. It's smooth and slick, it doesn't have a strong smell, it doesn't get sticky, and it dries leaving the skin nice and soft. Yeah, it can be a little pricey, but you use a fraction of what you'd use for just about any other lubricant, so the value is there.

Liquid Silk is the best water-based, non-tacky, non-smelly lube out there. If you're looking for something that's worth the money and will go a long ways, this is it. As long as you're not allergic to parabens, odds are you will LOVE Liquid Silk. It stays put incredibly well, and feels like it belongs... sometimes even better than the real thing! I love this lube. It is slippery, it comes with a handy pump, it has a realistic feel and look to it, and it makes for a pleasurable and smooth experience. But... if you are paranoid, like I am, you might want to think twice before applying it to a silicone based toy. This is the absolutely only reason I am giving it a four star review instead of a five star. This issue needs to be clarified by the company.

A must try of anyone who likes using flavored lubes or gels for oral sex. I've only tried the passion fruit but the taste is awesome, it lubricates enough to make everything easier, but not TOO slippery. Unless you're giving really long blow jobs, a quarter-sized dollop should last just fine. Easy to clean up, very mild numbing that makes deep throating a little easier, but does not make him lose sensation.
Passion fruit tastes good, have never needed to reapply, makes deep throating easier.

While the ingredient list on this lube raises some concerns, it does seem to do the job it is intended for. It's a pretty basic water based lube that will work very well for toy play and PIV sex. It doesn't really work well for anal play as it isn't thick and doesn't last long enough.
Smooth, slick and not stringy.
Some ingredients raise concerns, dries relatively quickly.
