Oh, butt play. How I wish it wasn't such a complicated endeavor! I have a very delicate back door so the party in my pants mostly happens in the VIP (or is it PIV?) lounge, but occasionally I get the itch for some anal excitement. I am not an anal beginner but I am prone to irritation, so I was sort of on the fence about what size to buy. I wound up going with the large because it's not actually all that big, but the heavy weight does make it feel a bit bigger. In hindsight I wish I'd gone with the medium for my body, but I have no problem getting this one in with a little extra lube (stainless steel is compatible with all kinds of lube, though choose something thick and non-irritating) and warmup.

Stainless steel is smooth with very little friction, so this toy is much easier to insert than its silicone brothers. It slides right in, with very little resistance! Its extra nice if you run it under warm water beforehand, as it will retain the heat! The angled bulbous shape is designed to stay put once inside, so you don't have to worry about it popping out mid-orgasm! Solid steel offers a nice weight and fullness with wear. The ultra-slim stem and handle rest comfortably between your butt cheeks, making this a good choice for extended wear if you wish (not my cup of tea, personally.) It doesn't give you the same feeling of anal "stretching" that a thicker plug might as most of the girth is internal, so bear that in mind.

This is without a doubt the best butt plug I've ever owned. Just one complaint: it's designed to stay in, so getting it out can be a bit of a challenge. You will need lube, patience, and muscle power (another user said squatting is helpful). I always find this part to be a little bit scary, and part of why I wish I'd gone for the medium. However, it will come out sooner or later, this is just the small price you pay for it not flying out during play.

After play, clean it with hot water and soap to clean it, and soak it in 10% bleach solution to disinfect it. Disinfect this toy between uses if you plan to share it, otherwise use it with a condom. (I would recommend the disinfection route personally since the slippery feeling of stainless steel against skin is part of what makes this toy so nice.)

I would recommend this plug to anyone interested in anal play, even beginners (though I would advise them to buy the smallest size). Girth junkies can graduate up to the 2.0, and the large size isn't too huge for your average player if you're feeling ambitious. Like the Pure Wand, the Pure Plug comes in a gorgeous black box with a luxe ruched pink satin lining molded to fit the toy. This box is wonderful for storage, and also makes this a super exciting gift to give or receive! The Pure Plug will last you a lifetime and is worth every penny!

Still my favorite plug! I almost never use the others anymore because this one is so well designed! I still dread getting it out, though...
