Athena - double ended dildo discontinued by Luxotiq - review by sexyfun

Athena comes in a padded beautiful box tied with ribbon. The box is lined in satin and keeps the toy well protected. The toy comes with a cleaning cloth for polishing. Athena is all glass and doesn't smell or taste of anything. I got the blue one and it features a dark blue color. The color is a little difficult to see unless light is behind it. Unfortunately this effect is extremely difficult to capture with my camera.




Athena measures about 9 inches long and features a double ended design. The smaller end measures about 1 1/4 diameter and the larger end measures about 1 1/2 diameter. The larger end has a white cursive L on it. Athena also features an average g-spot curve.

Athena made of all smooth glass which is rated 10 on the Eden Fantasy material safety scale and is extremely easy to clean. It is fully waterproof so you can boil it, throw it in the dishwasher, or even use soap and warm water to clean it. In addition, any kind of lube can be used with it. Glass is super strong and won't break easily. Glass is a very hard material so keep this in mind when thrusting. Since it doesn't have a flared base, I would not recommend it for anal use. I have not ventured into anal yet so I cannot provide any details on that. I enjoy using it vaginally. Glass can also be used for temperature play and I have not yet tried this myself but I do plan on trying it sometime in the future.

I actually thought Athena would be larger. The pictures and videos I saw online for some reason left me with the idea that the toy was larger than it actually is. This was not a problem for me. I enjoy using Athena and because of the length it's easy for my partner to use it for thrusting on me. I would recommend this dildo for a beginner and for an intermediate user because of the 2 different sized ends. If you're more of a size queen then this toy might not work best for you.
