It takes two to Share

The Share is definitely worth buying - if you know it's what you want and have the proper harness to make it most useful. It's a bit expensive for experimenting on something you're not sure will work for you and your partner.

Use

The Fun Factory Share is a double dildo with two primary applications and a potential 3rd. One would be for lesbian use - the other for pegging. I have heard that some have used it for double penetration of a female by her male partner.

As a rather typical heterosexual couple, I can only comment about our attempts to use the Share for pegging. The Share is designed to give you the opportunity to have dual partner penetration without using a harness.

Although I cannot verify it - the Share is probably best used for lesbian play - even then a harness may be necessary. The reason I say this is that even using her hand to hold the pony in-place, the tightness of anal activity made thrusting nearly impossible. Presumably a woman's vagina would not be as tight and thrusting would be easier.

Material / Texture

All Fun Factory toys use premium silicone - and the workmanship is flawless. Silicone now comes it three finishes - a soft exterior like the O2 or VixSkin; a 'polished' shiny finish like the Champlette or Feeldoe; or an 'unpolished' matte finish. The Share is made with the matte finish.

The matte finish tends to require more lubrication - so from the perspective of the receiver in the encounter, I would have preferred the polished finish. However from the point of view of my wife - it was a little easier to hold in the 'pony' because it's not too smooth.

The shaft has a nominal penis shape with a corona just behind the leading point - but unlike a penis, the deeper you go - the large the diameter of the shaft. When used as a simple dildo the shaft felt quite nice for both my wife vaginally and for me anally (she went first).

Design / Shape / Size

As a double penetrator there are obviously two sections of the Share - the 'pony' which is shaped to provide g-spot stimulation and stay in place during thrusting and the shaft designed for partner penetration and thrusting. The two sections are connected by silicone 'bridge' that is all together too soft/floppy - making thrusting nearly impossible.

My wife did not find the shape of the pony provided any g-spot stimulation - but I did find the shaft quite pleasurable. I would say however that if used in conjunction with a harness, the design of the pony has a fair chance of providing stimulation to the thrusting partner.

In spite of it's fairly large size - nearly 1.75" the pony tended to slip out when she tried to thrust the shaft.

Performance

There was a lot of fumbling around and we had a lot of laughs trying to see if we could make it work, but the bottom line here is that to use the Share effectively you need a harness - and we don't have one - and I learned from the experience that my wife does not want one. She's Ok with anal play - but is not into role-reversal.

That leads to the question; If you need a harness anyway - aren't there better dildo/harness combinations? Yes and no. For the penetratee - there are literally dozens of potential dildos of all sizes and descriptions that you may like. But if you are the penetrator and want to get some of the action - the Share would be a good choice.

Care and Maintenance

For anal play we love silicone lubricants - this causes a problem because Share is a silicone toy, therefore, silicone lubricants are a bad idea. We used Boy Butter lubricant with out experiments using the Share. I had high hopes for the Boy Butter - but performance wise - I give it a C grade.

Cleaning up a silicone toy is a snap, hot water and antibacterial soap are all you need to clean up the Share. Since we used it anally we also disinfected it using isopropyl alcohol.

We have a towel lined drawer in our dresser for all our toys - and that's where we keep the Share. The original box is quite nice and suitable for storage if prefer that method of storage.

Packaging

Fun Factory toys all come in very high quality packaging - in this case a plastic case inside a nicely made box. There is always a brochure showing all Fun Factory products and samples of lube. We must have 50 of those samples - because we never use them - but probably should!

There are no instructions per se - no batteries are involved and it's not necessary to tell someone how to use a dildo!

Personal comments

The Share is a great high quality toy - but for us it's a one-and-done experiment. Unless she changes her mind - pegging is not in our future and for normal anal play we prefer glass combined with silicone lube.

It's too bad in a way - I'm sure many of you would really love the quality and variety of this high quality toy that will remain in the drawer - until I get tired of moving it aside and throw it away.
Follow-up commentary
I really like the shape of the shaft of this toy. The modest size tapers up to a nice stretch - but my girl's not into pegging so we don't use it as designed.

For those interested in pegging - you'll probably want to consider using a harness with this one. The transition from pony to shaft is a little too flexible.

It may work well for woman to woman vaginal activity - but for obvious reasons I can't say for sure.

    Good review! Thank you!

Quick update - we have used the Share a couple more times. The bottom line is that the dildo end is just too short for easy thrusting after penetration. My wife has to stay very close and use very short strokes - all-in-all not practical.
