This Doe Can Buck!

Overall, despite the necessity of using a harness, the Feeldoe is a reliable, enjoyable product, and a must-have for strap-on enthusiasts and beginners alike.
Good go-to strap-on, excellent design, performs well
Not really for use without a harness, size may be uncomfortable/inadequate for some users

extremely useful review

We primarily use this toy for pegging (i.e., female giving, male receiving).

From her: The Feeldoe is a reliable strap-on both for those who are experienced and for beginners. It performs equally well at anal and vaginal penetration. Though it is billed as a "harness-less" strap-on, I find it difficult to use for any length of time or with any rigor without a simple harness; otherwise, I find my partner tends to steal it right out from under me. I have also used the shaft portion on myself for solo masturbation in lieu of a dildo, and I find it works just fine in that regard as well.

From him: It seems that for pegging purposes that almost any position will require use of an additional harness for a consistent angle and penetration. The harness we've used somewhat disrupts total usable length in exchange for stability.

Material / Texture

From her:
Made from silicone, the Feeldoe is firm with a slight spring when you bend it. The shaft portion maintains a constant upright position when inserted. Though, as others have noted, the connecting piece between the shaft and bulb is somewhat thin, I have no concerns about it breaking as we have used it on a regular basis since purchasing it nearly a year ago without compromising it at all. As to color, I usually prefer darker/more naturally colored toys, but the shade of violet (more of a blue-violet in person) isn't too harsh on the eyes.

From him:
The shaft has a good rigidity to it, while at the same time having enough flexibility to keep things easy and fun. The smoothness is an interesting sensation - very little external sensation to match the action.

Design / Shape / Size

From her: The design is simple and pleasing to the eye. The bulb end is rather large, and users with vaginas on the smaller side may find it difficult to accommodate (even with regular use, I still find it slightly uncomfortable to insert, though once inside, it is quite comfortable). Similarly, receivers who are not used to anal penetration may find the shaft end uncomfortable. If so, they may choose to opt for the "stout" model instead. Ideally, I would prefer a longer/thicker/more textured shaft for the right partner, as this one can feel on the short and simple side. I personally have not found the ribbing near the base of the shaft useful for clitoral stimulation, as is suggested.

From him: I've found that after long enough, you start to yearn for something with a bit more of a texture, as opposed to the completely smooth shaft. The natural head helps, but it leaves more to be desired. As far as size goes, it would probably be best suited for those users on the high end of beginner, and low end of intermediate.

    • Partner play

From her: Though the Feeldoe isn't really successful without a harness, it is thankfully harness compatible and performs well in a variety of positions. When used with a simple O-ring harness, it really allows you to get close to your partner during penetration for an experience that is as intimate as it is pleasurable. As far as sensation on my end, I have not found that the bulb really stimulates me when inserted. When used with the optional, insertable bullet, I can feel the vibrations in the shaft on my clitoris, which are enjoyable, but are usually too weak to make me cum.

From him: While I adore the look of it without the harness, we've found that for almost all practical events, one is required. The aforementioned bullet that was provided with the Feeldoe was welcomed, and with fresh batteries, when I'd reach down towards the base, I could feel the effects. Something stronger might have been preferred, but overall, it's not a bad inclusion.

Care and Maintenance

From her: Again, since it is silicone, the Doe is compatible with water-based lubes. I find it to be one of the harder toys to care for, since I am rigorous both about sanitization and odor. I find that the shaft of our Feeldoe, being used mainly for anal penetration, tends to retain a musky smell unless washed thoroughly. Therefore, after each use I wash it with soap and water and then soak it with toy cleaner before washing it once again. I appreciate knowing that it is boilable, as well, if I ever feel the need. As for storage, a Ziploc bag or plastic box works best as the material tends to attract lint/hair/fibers, occasionally requiring a quick rinse before use.
    • Difficult to store
    • Hard to clean

The packaging is a simple, clamshell-style plastic. It displays the product adequately, but is not useful for long-term storage/concealment.

Personal comments

From her: One of my favorite ways to use the Feeldoe involves lying down so that my partner is on top in cowboy position. Then, when using a harness along with the Doe, I insert a bullet vibrator between the shaft and my clitoris. The combination of the shaft/harness keeps the bullet trapped in position while he rides me. This is the most surefire way for us to guarantee mutual orgasm when using the Feeldoe, since in this position he is receiving prostate stimulation from the shaft. I'm told the vibrations from the bullet don't hurt, either.

From him: Yes, I agree with everything she just said.

From her: I have 5+ years experience with strap-ons/pegging.

From him: I have moderate (solo) anal experience prior to using the Feeldoe.
Follow-up commentary
We continue to use this toy on a regular basis. It is still our go to for strap-on play, and likely will continue to be for the foreseeable future.
