It is small, elegant, and discreetly designed to be a perfect companion to solo or couple play. I have used it in both instances, but I find myself enjoying it more with solo use than I do with my husband. He prefers the vibrations of wands during couple play and that is okay with me. For couple use, one would have to hold it on the clit while the partner was having sex with them. I do this all the time with my toys and I love when I find one that works well.

It is designed as a clitoral vibrator, but can also be used to tease and caress your body during foreplay over all of your erogenous zones that love attention and stimulation. It is not designed for vaginal or anal insertion and does not have the proper shape for this.

It could be used as a whole body massager for achy muscles, but I have the
Black Magic Super Bullet, that is stronger for this purpose, but it is easier to maneuver than the bullet is.

In the users manual they state this is your perfect first toy. I don't care if this is your first toy or not, but I highly recommend buying this product because I cannot say enough good things about it. I believe it would be great for beginners or advanced users alike because it offers a multitude of variety in the settings ensuring something for everyone.

It is made out of a smooth, soft, velvety 100% body-safe silicone on the outside and ABS plastic on the inside. Silicone is one of the safest product materials on the market because it isn't porous and won't harbor bacteria. It is also phthalate free, latex free and hypoallergenic.

It is ideal for those who prefer smooth toys because there is no added texture anywhere. It has no odor or taste. It is water resistant and safe in the bath, shower, etc. Do not submerge for prolonged periods of time. Also, in the user manual it mentions not to use in extreme water temperatures.

It comes in four colors to choose from: black, rose, pink, and purple. I chose purple because that's one of my favorite colors overall and is my favorite color of those choices. It is a rich, deep, feminine purple that is very nice.

The Mimi is similar in shape to an egg and is designed perfectly. It fits comfortably in the palm of my hand, is lightweight, and never leaves my hand feeling tired from using it. I love the way it contours to my body and nestles magnificantly on my clit so I'm able to enjoy the wonderful sensations she produces and allow her to work her glorious magic on me to achieve climax. It is not shaped like your conventional sex toy so I don't think you would have any issues with this if it was left out accidentally.

It has five vibration levels that increase in intensity and five pulsating vibrations. I've never used the pulsating variations because I get off every time just by using the vibration mode. However, the controls are as follows:

1-5: Start off slow in vibration and then steadily increase in vibration with mode 5 being the strongest
6: First pulse pattern on-off-on-off
7: Fast pulse pattern
8: Roller coaster pattern
9: Faster on-of on-off
10: Fastest on-off on-off pattern

The vibrations are concentrated at the smaller end, but can be felt throughout the entire toy and delivers powerful stimulation. I would consider the vibrations to be a mix-breed between rumbly and buzzy. They are deep enough to achieve enjoyment out of it, but still considered buzzy because if you hold it for a long period of time does make your hand tingle. However, it does not cause any ill affects to the parts that are being stimulated so that is great because it won’t leave you sore.

It has two round button controls that I do not like; a + and – that are very difficult to push that I believe can be improved on. Initially, hold the + symbol slightly hard for a few seconds to turn it on and again to increase the vibration intensity. After the fifth vibration level, click + through the five pulse patterns. To return to the previous level or pattern you can click the -. I find this feature to be a wonderful addition because I'm not having to go all the way through the choices again to find the level I like if I accidentally bypass it. To turn it off hold the – symbol for a few seconds.

The good and bad thing about the Mimi is it is rechargeable using magnetic clips on the end to charge. I mention this as a good and bad aspect of the toy because although it does not require batteries, if it is losing its charge it will go through a cycle where it will not hold the intense steady vibrations that you are on. This can be very annoying when you are close to climax and it starts to cycle up and then down over and over again with the speed and you're not able to finish. That being said, it will hold its charge for about 1 ½-2 hours and it takes approximately 2 hours to charge.

You need to charge fully before first use and do not use while charging. To charge, make sure it is aligned properly with the charging dock and Mimi's magnetic buttons. Sometimes the adapter doesn't fit on there as snuggly as I like and I think that could be improved on. I don't really consider that a negative about it, but I have to make sure that it is setting on a hard surface instead of dangling from the socket. It will flash red when charging and will turn a solid red when fully charged. The cute addition to this rechargeable toy is they use a heart instead of a standard circle as their way to show it is charging.

The noise level is basically non-existent which I know is wonderful for those that have roommates or thin walls. The only time it becomes loud is on the highest setting, but can be easily muffled under covers or background noise.

It can be stored anywhere because of its small size though not touching other silicone toys due to possible break down of the silicone. I wish Je Joue would have included a small storage pouch, but that was not the case. I had mine in my lingerie drawer in another toy pouch, and it does not take up much room at all.

It is compatible with water-based lube and you can use warm water and soap to clean it or your favorite toy cleaner. Do not use with silicone based lubes because silicone can break down other silicone products, and we don't want that happening with such a magnificant toy.

Always unplug before cleaning and make sure it is completely dry before reconnecting the charger and plugging it into an outlet.

The Je Joue Mimi is presented in a luxurious black ribbon-tied gift box that gives the impression that this is indeed going to be one amazing toy. In that aspect it does not disappoint at all. This is one of my favorite toys and I am able to reach orgasm every time. The packaging is some of the best I have encountered and would gladly use this as a gift box. It could also be used to store a few smaller toys, condoms, wipes, etc. in it for easy access and I would not be ashamed to leave it out on my nightstand.

It comes with an owner's manual that comes in four other languages besides English and explains the safety features and warnings of the toy.

It comes with a one year warranty from the date of original purchase. After about three weeks of use, I had an issue with it losing its charge within a few minutes of use after being fully charged so I sent in a support ticket to Eden and they are replacing it for me. I haven't read about any other instances of this happening so this may be an isolated incident. I chose to replace it with an identical toy, so once I receive it and have used it for awhile I will write a follow-up on whether this was an isolated incident or not.

Overall, I consider this to be a high quality toy with superior craftsmanship and would make a great addition to your playful toys.

While I had it, the Mimi was becoming a fast favorite of mine. It delivered wonderful orgasms everytime so I can't really complain that much about it. The benefits by far outweigh anything negative I had to say about it.
