She is, however, intended for clitoral stimulation -- and boy, does she EVER deliver! She is the best clitoral vibrator that I have tried so far, and I highly recommend her. The smooth silicone, the strong vibrations, and the excellent shape make her a great choice for this purpose.

You could also use Mimi as a massager, which is something that I have done often.

I would say that Mimi is a great choice for both beginners and advanced users. This is because Mimi offers a variety of speeds and functions. Also, Mimi is excellent for couples play, simply because she is so small.

Mimi is made out of food-grade silicone, which rates as a 10 on Eden's safety scale. Silicone is hypo-allergenic, latex free, phthalates free, and non-porous. All in all, this is about as safe as you can get, as far as sex toys go.

The layer of silicone that covers Mimi is extremely thin with absolutely no drag. This means that you won't get a bit of a squish with it like you might with many silicone toys. Instead, there is no give to this toy. It is extremely firm. This allows you to apply pressure with Mimi, should you require it. The thin layer of silicone also seems to make the vibrations feel stronger than it would feel otherwise.

The thin layer of silicone is so smooth and soft that I find it difficult to stop myself from "petting" Mimi. She just feels so good on my skin!

I did not notice any taste or smell coming from Mimi.

Mimi is a small girl, being only 3" in length, and about 1.5" inches at her widest point. Her width makes her perfect for holding, as you can easily cup her in your hands in a way that allows the tip to stimulate your more sensitive body parts.

One flaw in Mimi's design is that she just doesn't really allow for pinpoint stimulation. That said, I was still able to achieve many amazing, deep orgasms with her. If you absolutely need pinpoint, however, you may want to look elsewhere.

Mimi is EXTREMELY discreet. I once left Mimi laying out in the bathroom at my parents house -- my mother found her. My mother asked me if it was some sort of new game controller. Now, my mother's not a stupid woman -- she's quite intelligent. This toy is just THAT discreet -- if you don't know what it is, you won't automatically think "sex toy". For this reason, I feel comfortable leaving Mimi out where anyone could see her. I would also feel comfortable traveling with her due to her discreet nature.

One of the biggest problems that most people have with Mimi involves the two buttons. They can be a little difficult to push at first, especially if you have long fingernails. I don't have long fingernails, but it still took me awhile to get the hang of pushing the buttons. Now, however, I can usually get it right on the first try.

In order to turn Mimi on, you hit the "+" button for around 5 seconds. You then press the button again to cycle through the five vibration speeds. Once you've gone through the steady vibration speeds, you will reach the patterns. There are 5 patterns. Patterns don't do much for me, especially during clitoral stimulation, but other users may appreciate the variety that Mimi has to offer.

If you decide that you want to go back a vibration level or two, you simply press the "-" button until you get your desired vibration level. To turn Mimi off, hold the "-" key for 5 seconds.

The vibration seems to be primarily found in Mimi's tip, however you can feel some vibration over her entire surface area. The vibration levels start at being about a 2, and increase gradually to being a high 4 -- nearly a 5. The wide range of vibration levels make her suitable for all users. At all levels, however, the vibrations are rumbly, and deep -- so if you do not prefer deep vibrations, Mimi may not be the girl for you.

Another great thing about Mimi is that she's waterproof. I have used her in the shower on many occasions without problem. I have not, however, used her in the bathtub. The manual says that she can be submerged without problem, but I didn't want to risk it. I worry that water may get inside of the button area and ruin the toy.

You should also know that Mimi is rechargeable! To charge her, you simply connect the magnetic charger. She seems to charge very quickly, and one charge lasts awhile.

Caring for Mimi is quite easy to do. You can clean her with soap and water, or you can use a toy cleaner or a toy wipe. Personally, I tend to use a toy wipe to clean Mimi.

You don't want to boil Mimi like you might boil other silicone toys. This is because boiling her may ruin the motor. You also probably don't want to put Mimi in the dishwasher -- it would also probably ruin the motor. And really, why would you want to chance ruin such a lovely little toy?

Now, while you're using Mimi, you may find yourself wanting a little lubricant. Personally, I didn't need any lube -- Mimi is so smooth that she glided over my skin with ease on her own. That said, if you do want to use lubricant, remember that water-based lube needs to be used with silicone.

In regards to storing Mimi, I always store in the box that she came in. She is, however, small enough that you could store her just about anywhere.

Mimi's packaging is really elegant, which is just what I expected from a luxury toy company. Mimi comes packaged in a black cardboard box that is wrapped in a thin layer of plastic. You must remove the plastic to open the box. The box itself is very discreet looking -- black, with a ribbon tie, and the Je Joue name and logo on the lid. It is so discreet, in fact, that I feel comfortable placing it out in the open.

Once you open the box, there is a little plastic shelf that holds Mimi in place. When you lift the shelf up, you will find instructions and the charger. The instructions are in multiple languages, and provide sufficient information.
