Before the MiMi, I had to take out my sexual frustration on vibrating toothbrushes or by stealing my roommate's little rocket vibrator. Luckily, I finally saved up some extra change and bought myself a beautiful, black MiMi. I can say today that it has been one of the smartest purchases I have made in a while!

The MiMi is a small toy, no larger than, say, a large egg, that packs quite the punch. The exterior of the MiMi is a velvety and luxurious nonporous silicone, so my conscience was clear that I could not get an infection like I had from using unsafe toys in the past. It is also waterproof, which comes in handy for those that like to end the day with an orgasmic shower. It is an extremely discreet in its nondescript shape and the midnight black I choose. In fact, I have left it out to charge with no weird remarks or looks from visitors. It could easily pass as a neck/back massager if you are questioned. The noise can hardly be heard under a sheet, even on the highest setting. The MiMi comes in a very sexy, sleek black box that can be used to store the toy and will make it impossible for the unknowing to guess its contents. The charger attaches to the toy magnetically, however I find that it may come off if you just attach it and swing it off to the side after use like I do. Unlike other toys, it will not become weaker when it runs low on juice and will turn off completely when the battery runs out. This means that you can charge it for twenty minutes and use it for a quickie if you like!

The soft silicone exterior of the toy does tend to collect a small amount of lint and other little bits, but it can easily be cleaned with soap and water. You should wash the toy before and after use, just in case, though it isn't really needed. You should not use silicone lube on the toy, but I never found a need for it because I couldn't imagine putting it inside of me. However, if you can manage, you could insert it safely and I can imagine it being quite the experience. I prefer to use it externally for pleasure, and sometimes even a neck message on a stressful day.

The MiMi experience can be completely customized due to the five speeds and five patterns of vibrations. You start off on the lowest setting, then slowly climb up, experimenting with different speeds and vibrations. You can put it on the highest setting for just that quick orgasm you've been craving. You can use it for foreplay and giving/receiving oral sex. The shape of the MiMi allows the user to pinpoint vibrations in one place, or stimulate the entire vulva by laying the toy flat. It provides deep vibrations that you can really feel under your skin, unlike cheaper counterparts whose vibes can only be felt in a small area.

After having it for quite some time now, I still have nothing negative to say. The battery is very strong, even on low power, and it still brings me to knee-shaking orgasms. One thing I would like to point out, though, is that the silicone case has become a bit loose due to me messing around with it and pulling it---but it really doesn't affect any aspect of the toy during use. I will still agree with everything I have said in my review, and I can tell this toy will last me a very long time.
