This massage candle by Dona in the blue lotus scent is awesome. It is best used for sensual body massage, and also adds a romantic candlelit effect to your evening with a great slightly sweet flowery scent. This massage candle is great for anyone who would like to enjoy a sensual massage with a great scent. It is wonderful on sensitive and dry skin and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. It does leave a slightly heavy wax feeling but I love that feeling, and it is to be expected when you're using a massage candle. Another great use for this massage candle is to light it and put it ii in the bathroom for a great sensual bath then, after soaking in your bath, rub the melted wax oil on your body, especially any extra dry spots. I love using it on my elbows and my heels; they get so dry in the winter.

Here are the ingredients: * * Glycine Soja Wax, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Oil, Laminaria Digitata (Algae) Extract, Nymphaea Caerulea (Blue Lotus) Flower, Fragrance

This candle starts out the same texture and consistency as most other candles; hard, smooth, and waxy. To get enough oil for a good 20 minute massage you will need to burn this candle at least half an hour. Once the wax is melted to an oil it is a slightly yellow-tinted clear liquid. It is slightly warm and very runny when you first pour. There is no pour spot so it will run over the side of the container. It thickens quickly and as you rub it in it will get a little whiter but as you work it into the skin the white goes away and you are left with no residue or film on the skin. It does not leave you greasy or sticky.

The smell of this candle is amazing. It smells just like the blue lotus flower. It smells mildly in candle form before lit. Once you light it the smells begins to fill the room. It's a light sweet scent. It's very pleasant, and not too overly feminine. My fiancé enjoys the smell and doesn't feel the need to wash it off immediately. This massage candle is not edible so I did not taste it.

I burned my massage candle for 30 minutes before the first massage. This lasted for a 20 minute massage. I wish I had melted it a bit longer. The second massage, I burned it for about 40 minutes first. This was more than enough oil for a 20 minute massage. I think it melted faster the second time. We did not feel the need to wash it off, in fact, I use it right after I get out of the shower. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. My favorite thing about the Dona massage candle is how great the oil glides on the skin. It's such a smooth luxurious feeling. The smell is also amazing and leaves a scent for hours if you choose to not wash it off. Te only downside to this product is that there is no pour area so it makes a mess on the container. That's not too big a deal though; I usually just wipe it off with my finger and use it for the massage.

This massage candle comes in a tin container with a lid. The jar is pretty but there is no spout so that takes away a bit of its functionality. It is fairly discreet; it just looks like any other candle.
