This is a wonderful candle meant for massaging. It has a wonderful scent and a fantastic texture. This candle could be used any time you wish to add some sensuality to your massage. This product is great for many reasons; it is paraben free, made of soy, and melts at a relatively low temperature. The oil lasts for a long time on the skin, at least 30 minutes for a simple back massage. It leaves the skin soft and extremely smooth to the touch. It does leave a bit of a film afterwards (my guess is this is the wax). This was easily wiped away with a warm wet washcloth; we did not need any soap. 24 hours later the skin is still soft. The scent is strong, but not in a bad way, I am very sensitive to most smells and have allergies to many stronger scents and I did not have a single problem with this candle. The candle does not take long to make a substantial pool of wax, about 20 to 30 minutes. After massaging my husband’s back, I found my hands were amazingly smooth and enjoyable. The smell went off of the skin fairly quick but while it lasted it was not too overwhelming.

Before melting, this product is not oily at all it has a smooth wax texture and a pleasant smell. Once melted, this candle turns to fragrant massage oil. It melts at a low temperature because it is made out of soy wax. It is a bit tricky to pour because there is no spout. The oils are very slick and massages into the skin amazingly well. It lasts at least 30 min with a large pool of wax and does not solidify too quickly if you need to pour more. It can be poured right after being extinguished without burning the skin. I was able to stick my finger in the wax while the flame was still going to check the temperature. It is fairly thick oil so it stayed on the back nicely giving it a chance to absorb into the skin. It also provided enough slickness to get deeper into the muscles than I usually can when giving my husband a massage.

The DONA mangosteen is a strong smell but not in a bad way. I could smell it even before I opened the tin it comes in. It is a wonderful mix of fruity and musky scent. My husband thought it was quite feminine but I enjoyed how it mixed with his natural scent. Once burning the smell stays strong but it doesn’t give me a headache like stronger smells. I have never really smelled anything like it and I was pleased by the uniqueness of the smell. I have not and will not try tasting this, it is not meant to be edible.

This product lasts quite a long time. Once on the skin the oil stayed slick for around 30 minutes and I still had time I could have kept rubbing. The smell lasted on the skin for a few hours which was longer than I had expected. After massaging it left a waxy film on the skin which I was able to wipe off with a warm washcloth, I did not need any soap or cleanser. I love that this product melts at a lower heat and can be used as just an aromatic candle, or massage oil. I think it may have been nicer if it came in bigger sizes. It would also benefit to have some sort of pour spout to get the oil out after melting.

The product comes in a metal tin with a lid. The outside has the product name, the company name, and ingredients list. The background looks like lace which I thought was nice. I also like that the packaging is simple and straightforward. I find it annoying when a product is packaged in ten times more packaging product than is needed.

I really enjoy this product; I find it adds a great sense of sensuality to my relationship. I do not always want products based solely on sex and this is one that was enjoyable in a more intimate and sensual way than a blatantly sexual way. This product is amazing for anyone who wants something fun and erotic that they can add to their relationship.

Everything about this product was an enjoyable experience; I have not found any reason to not like this product. The price is amazing, the quality is great. This product lasts a long time, smells great, and feels wonderful. I would definitely purchase this product again and again. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was it was hard to pour and I want more.
