Cool cheap candle

This is a pretty cool candle. Seeing it change to massage oil and then feeling the lovely silkiness on your skin is really nice. However those who do not have a lot of time or are getting it just for a normal candle purpose might be disappointed.

Use

This is a massage candle. In basic, it can be used as a candle, but it won't last that many hours if you are getting if for that purpose alone. Also, it is quite dim. It also does not really leave that much scent in your room like some candles do (some people say it smells nice, which it does, but burning it does not really make the room smell like the candle which is a little disappointing). Its main use is to burn and then use as a massage oil, which takes a little bit of time but can slowly create a romantic, sensual atmosphere at the same time. But hey, it's a little cool that the massage oil is solid and then liquid and wow, it's also warm from the flame.

Anyway, if you want to, set up a romantic atmosphere beforehand and then have some warm massage oil to please a partner. You can put some of the wax on yourself as well. This is good for any gender as long as they like massages and sweet smelling scents. I haven't tried massage oil yet, but I might buy a cheap one in order to compare so I know if I like candles or oil form better. This is a pretty affordable way to figure it out before you spend a lot of money on the really fine products.

Do not use this if you are allergic to any of the following ingredients: Glycine Soja Wax, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Oil, Laminaria Digitata (Algae) Extract, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Powder, Fragrance

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The wax is pretty solid when you first get this candle. You can rub it, but you won't get too much on your fingers unless you really try to. It feels nice and greasy (in a good, non-sticky way). After you burn it, some of it turns into liquid, and it's very smooth and feels great on the skin. It's a little too liquidy sometimes and becomes a little hard to pour, but a little mess never hurt anyone. When it's cooling it's just like candle wax, but it spreads very easy on the skin and the skin absorbs it a little. It doesn't instantly firm, it just slowly thickens before hardening (which takes awhile).

Taste / Aroma

I got the pomegranate scent because I love eating the fruit. It doesn't quite smell like the actual fruit, it just smells very fruity and sweet. Although I really enjoy it, it might be too sweet and intoxicating for others, because when you are actually using the oil it is strong smelling. If it's burning in the same room, I can't really smell it, but after being rubbed on an area of skin, it definitely creates a nice scent. There are a few flavors for this candle and I'm sure one will work for you if this one doesn’t.

Other scents: Blue lotus, Acai, Mangosteen, Pomegranate, Goji berry, and Camu camu.

Performance

This was my first massage candle and I only used it once or twice because I didn't have time for relaxing massages. I did really like the feel of the soy on my skin, it glides over pretty easy and doesn't feel overly oily and absorbs nice to the skin as well. The candle did take awhile to burn enough wax to massage with though, so time was definitely an issue. I didn't feel the need to wash it off but some others may want to. The smell of the massage oil was also really intoxicating. I am curious to try liquid massage oil now so I can compare the consistencies.

Pomegranate sounds really yummy - I think that it definitely would have been my first choice too.

Hmm.. Not sure if I'd love this or not, but would like to try it even if it's just for the scent. I'm stuck on a particular massage candle at the moment. Soy does feel nice! Thanks for sharing. This sounds pretty nice. I am glad you like it.
