Reach your Contours

The Contour M works wonderfully. I had my reservations, but with massage oil or without, the Contour M makes giving a massage much more comfortable and effortless.

extremely useful review
Yet another review of the Contour M. It's a small massage stone made of ceramic, white material made by Jimmy Jane. To be honest, I've used other Jimmy Jane products with horrible experiences, so I was really surprised with the Contour M ended up being a really nice product. The stone is about three inches in width and length and fits perfectly into the palm of your hand. The entire stone is amazingly smooth with no rough edges. It has a rounded, dome top with four little "legs" protruding from the top to allow for multiple massage points.

The Contour M comes in a really tasteful box that actually works great for storage. The box is white and shows details of the product, and looks very professional. It shows other massage products as well as different ways to use the product. On the inside, the Contour M is stuffed (really nice and tight) between the "walls" of the box which keeps it from moving. This works for storage since the Contour M honestly doesn't move inside the box.

The Contour M is intended to be used three different ways. You can use just one of the little protruding legs to massage an area, all four of the little legs at once, or just use the back, dome side of the Contour M to give broader, less focused strokes. I do recommend using massage oil of some sort (I used SystemJO's Massage Glide) for your massage since the stone doesn't glide as nicely without some lubrication. It will glide but just not as amazingly. Do also remember that most massage oil is not intended to be used genitally, so avoid that area. We mostly ended up using the Contour M on the back though you could go down to the buttocks with no problem. As long as there is a bit of fat involved, it feels pleasant. The boyfriend disliked the feeling of the hard ceramic on his limbs because there wasn't as much fat protecting his legs and arms. Avoid pressing any sort of firm press to right behind the back of the neck as well - the important spinal column is most sensitive there.

I was really surprised by the Contour M. So was the boyfriend. It doesn't look that impressive, but god, it feels nice. Like, really. We only really use it with the four little legs at the same time, but that feels the best. Through a t-shirt, you can do it without lubrication and relax your partner at the end of a hard day while you watch TV. Without your clothing, it works amazingly to work at the back. I wouldn't call this toy arousing by far though. The massage stone almost always relaxes us - not arouses us to want to do something else. It's more of a treat to your partner than expecting to get a reward back from it.

But really, we were surprised. The four points of the stone give nice contact to muscles, and it ends up feeling really, really good without hurting at all. The stone actually is amazingly easy to grasp in your hand. You'd think the dome would be slippery, but with your hand unlubricated, it's not hard to hold at all. With your hand covered in lubricant, it's a bit harder, but you can grasp it pretty well by curling your fingers under the stone.

Even my skinny boyfriend enjoyed the feeling of the Contour M on his back. He didn't like just the feel of one of the points on his body but enjoyed all four. Just using one was too focused. Since he doesn't have much in terms of back fat, I'd imagine that it should work comfortably for any person. In fact, I'd actually recommend it.

It takes very little pressure to do a good job. With regular massages, my thumbs and fingers get pretty tired pretty quickly. With the Contour M, the slightest bit of pressure actually does a great job of massaging the skin. It's very low-effort and allows your massage to go on a lot longer than if you had been using your hands. I'm looking forward to getting the other Contour massage stones, but I was really disappointed to find out that Jimmy Jane has discontinued the Contour Q stones - those looked really fun.

To clean your stone, just use some warm water and wash it down. It is sterilizable and extremely easy to clean. I recommend keeping it in the original box or at least somewhere where it won't fall from great heights. It works with all types of lubrication, but make sure to pick your lubricant correctly if you want to do something sexual afterwards.
Experience
Without a doubt, I'm now found of the Contour M. It's a good massage stone, will be lasting a long time, and feels a lot more pleasurable than we were expecting. I just wish Contour Qs were still available to go with it.
Follow-up commentary
We've had a couple friends inquire about this (we have one sitting out), and they've given it a try, and they're in love too. Despite using it often, the massage stone has held up well, and this is probably my favorite Jimmyjane product. I love this stone, and the friends we've had try it love it as well.
