Astroglide - lubricant discontinued by BioFilm - review by Sera

This product is exceptional. This is my all time favorite lubricant out there, and there's a fabulous reason why. It lasts such a long time using it anally, vaginally, and on all of my toys. It's water based, it has no smell or taste, and of course, it was the greatest product of lubricant ever made! This product will work great for everyone. It was my first lubricant, and it shall be my last. I don't believe there are any product concerns, but the label states that if irritation of any kind occurs, you should stop using the lube immediately. Also, keep it out of reach of children (but wouldn't you do that anyway?) The ingredients, for your personal information, are purified water, glycerin, propylene glycol, polyquaternium 15, methylparaben, and propylparaben.

As far as texture is involved, this lubricant is the silkiest and easiest to use that I have ever tried and had. It's tried and true, and just like it's name, astro "glide." It really glides onto your skin, and it lasts for as long as you want it to, until you wash it off. It's not hard to wash off either. It's easy, and since it's water based, you can just hop into the shower if you feel gross covered in lubricant. It feels silky, oh so silky, and that's one of its best qualities. It's easy to pour, and it's basically just like water in that regard. It drips, and it doesn't stay in place, but I don't think there are any qualms there. It's not sticky, and it's not greasy at all. It's a wonderful lubricant. It's super slick though, so if you spill it on the floor, clean it up immediately because you may slip and fall! It's an excellent vaginal moisturizer.

There's no taste or aroma to this lubricant, because it is water based. It actually reminds me of water, oddly enough. I always think of water when I look at it, feel it, and use it. Always. I wonder why that is!

This lubricant will last forever, and until you wash it off, that is. It's easy to clean up, and you can just run water over it and wipe a rag over the area and it just comes off like a snap! I think the best quality about it is that it is so similar to water, sometimes I can't tell the difference! The only bad thing is that it is slippery, so if you spill it you need to clean it up immediately or you might get hurt when you slip on it...because it takes forever to dry, and practically never does dry!

The bottle is great, you know, the one that it comes in? Oh wait, there's a box, and then there's a bottle, and then there's this really great watery lubricant stuff that you can rub all over your genitals that makes sex amazing! But anyway, the box is paper, and recyclable, and the bottle is recyclable as well, but it might take years before you use it all up. The bottle is a pop top, and the top also screws off, and it's easy to open with one hand, or even just a finger. Or a mouth! It is a bit hard to close though, and can leak if it tips over while open, but this isn't too big of a deal to me, and doesn't make me think any less of this great lubricant! The lubricant isn't about the packaging. The whole point is to buy the lubricant for the lubricant, right, not the packaging?
