JO H2O flavored lubricant - flavored lube by System JO - review by Cori

I already loved JO lubricants, so I'm glad this was no exception. This lubricant is amazingly thick for being water-based and tastes and smells great—the possibilities are endless! It tastes great and smells great making it perfect for foreplay and oral activities.

I found this lube to be the best for oral sex, but also great for use with all types of toys, intercourse, or just adding some flavor to any area that wants a little extra attention. I wouldn't, however, recommend this for anal.

JO H2O is nontoxic, non-staining, and latex safe. This means it can be used with a condom; however, those who are prone to UTI infections may want to steer clear of using this product for intercourse as it contains parabens and glycerin. Luckily though, it contains no artificial sweeteners.

This water-based lubricant is much thicker than most others in its family. This lubricant is easily poured from the neat flip-top and stays in place nicely. It's not runny or messy. It feels like a high-end water-based lubricant, with its slick and smooth texture.

The front of the bottle claims this lubricant "feels silky smooth like silicone", which I found to be true. It does not feel greasy, sticky, or tacky during or after use. And it can be easily washed off with soap and water.

I was skeptical when I got this product, but once I flipped open the top and smelled Strawberry Kiss I was excited—it smells so amazing! It's a light, sweet strawberry scent. It does, however, smell more like strawberry candy than the fruit itself but that was okay with me.

I couldn't wait for the boyfriend to come home from work so I poured a small amount on to my hand for a taste test and to my delight, it actually tasted good. It's light and not at all overwhelming to the taste buds. And there was absolutely no aftertaste left in my mouth.

Once I finally got to use this product for its intended use I was even more impressed. When using it for oral sex, it smelled wonderful and tasted better when it was not just a blob on my hand. It was light and sweet, just what you want in a flavored lube.

When using JO H2O for oral sex, I used a small amount and its silky texture lasted the entire duration of the deed. The flavor never became overwhelming and it left no aftertaste. We found that there was no sticky, tacky mess left behind and therefore no need to wash any residue off that is normally left behind with flavored products.

If you don't enjoy the incredibly light fruit scent left behind, this product would be easily cleaned up with some water and a little soap.

As a lubricant for intercourse, this product worked very well. (Although if you are prone to UTI infections I would caution you to look elsewhere, as the parabens and glycerin could put you at risk.) It held up for the entire duration of intercourse without having to re-apply. The texture remained smooth and was sufficiently thick, and it seemed like the longer it was used the sweeter it smelled. This lubricant doesn't hold up well for water play, but works well with toys (including anal). I wouldn't use it for anal intercourse, however, but that's just me.

And another perk is that it's safe for use with condoms. When used with a latex condoms, it eliminated the latex smell replacing it with a fruity scent.

The packaging on this lubricant really seals the deal. It's a generous amount of lube—5.25 ounces to be exact. Considering you only need a small amount (about the size of a dime) to add the perfect amount of flavor to oral, this bottle should last a very long time.

The best part is that the bottle has a flip-open top. After removing the safety tape on the bottle, you push a red button the size of your thumb and the circular lid pops open. This makes it very easy to open the bottle with one hand (in case the other one's busy...) which proves to be convenient. However, I would not recommend this bottle for travel purposes. It only requires a very small amount of pressure to pop the lid open. With that being said, when storing this bottle away, either make sure it's kept upright or seal it in a plastic bag—or better yet, both!

The bottle itself is very modern looking. The front of the bottle says "Meet Your New Best Friend" and lists the pros of the product, all being very true. Your flavor choice and a picture of that fruit/chocolate are featured in the middle. The back contains the ingredients and directions. As well as a warning to discontinue use if irritation occurs, which it did not for me or my partner.

Before I got my hands on System JO H2O flavored lube, I thought flavored lubricants were a joke. I thought they were best used for teenagers who still needed to sugar coat everything (literally!). But now, I find myself enjoying giving my boyfriend a good blow job instead of feeling like it's a chore. And it's all thanks to the yummy, lip-smacking flavors. I tried Strawberry Kiss since my boyfriend would actually use that one, but I'll be grabbing Pineapple and Raspberry as soon as I can!

I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to add a little flavor to their oral sex.
