Sassy - gel discontinued by Sliquid, LLC - review by matry

Everyone knows the first rule of anal play is USE LUBE! Well, I had tried a few kinds of lube but they weren't helping me have the fun, exciting, and comfortable anal experiences I was craving. My ass and I were getting frustrated trying to find a satisfying lube! But then I found out Sliquid, a brand that came highly recommended by several friends (and even my gyno), carried a lube especially for your booty: Sassy. I bought some and never looked back!

Sassy is a thicker, water-based lube. It is almost gel-like, but it isn't tacky like Astroglide gel. It stays wet for a long time and doesn't need to be reapplied frequently like other lubes I tried. It works amazingly on body parts and toys, too. Sassy has become mine and my partner's go-to lube for everything, not just sex of the anal variety.

I also appreciate that the ingredients, which are all vegan, are natural and non-irritating. One of the things that I love most about Sassy is that it doesn't contain glycerin, an ingredient that is known to cause nasty yeast infections and UTIs. I like that it can be used with all of my silicone toys, since it is water- based. Being water-based also means it won't stain your clothes or sheets; it cleans up easily. It isn't scented, but there is a faint, somewhat sweet smell to it. Sassy doesn't have any flavor added, either, so it is essentially tasteless.

This lube comes is a bottle with a flip-top cap. I suppose it isn't as easy to dispense as lubes that come in tubes, but I actually prefer this style to the tubes. With tubes, my partner and I have sometimes been in too much of a hurry to get to the fun stuff that we just throw it on the bed next to us without putting the cap back on... then we forget, one of us sits/kneels/rolls over on it, and next thing we know it's everywhere. That's something we don't have to worry about with Sassy!
