extremely useful review
Packaging-
I have to start by saying that my wife has wanted the eroscillator for about the last five years; so when I ordered it there were some high expectations. It arrived in a nice box with some simple text and nice imagery. Once opened up I was surprised to see that it was not as visually unappealing as I had imagined. It arrives with the unit itself, a power cable, three double sided attachments and some instructions/information booklets.

Material/Care-
When I initially picked it up I was impressed by how sturdy it felt, solid and well made. The unit itself is around eight inches long. Its function is simple; there are three different speeds which are controlled by a long switch that runs the length of one side of the unit. Simply slide it up to turn it on the lowest and then up one to the next and up one more to the highest. I was impressed by the easy use design of the toy. It is mains operated which is a serious plus as it means lower running costs versus battery operated toys. It comes with ample excess cable with over sixty inches, making it easy to use anywhere near a socket/outlet. The cable plugs easily into the end of the toy and stays put. The unit is made from abs plastic. The three attachments were different than I expected, I thought they would be made from the same hard plastic material as the unit itself but I was pleased to discover that they are instead made from a bio-compatible flexible material, it has a rubbery feel to it but no odour or anything. The base of the attachments are made from plastic. With regards cleaning you cant go wrong with mild soap and warm water or specialist toy cleaner.

Use-
The attachments connect easily to the main unit, simply clicking into place. There are three double sided attachments which are as follows.

The Ball & Cup
This attachment is simply a round end with three round nubs raised out on one side and a hollow cup shape that is very shallow on the other. It is about three inches long in total.

The Cluster of Grapes & Cockscomb
This is our favourite attachment of the three included in this kit. It is highly textured on one side with many raised nubs of rubber. The other side is simply a raised flat piece of rubbery material, thinner than the rest of the attachments. Its raised shape on the comb side makes it ideal for insertion. This is the shortest of the attachments measuring just two and a half inches.

The Golden Spoon
This is the longest attachment at three and a half inches. It is shaped (like you would expect) like a spoon. Its oval head features very slightly raised nubs one side and a hollow with a single raised piece of rubbery material.

Once turned on the unit states that it will be quiet while in use, this is largely true. However, once it is removed from the body while still turned on it does make a lot of noise, something of a rattling sound. As I mentioned there is a lot of cable so moving it around is not a problem or anything.

Summary-
The eroscillator has a serious reputation which I feel is largely deserved. It is a sturdy toy and comes with a full one year guarantee. It is definitely worth trying if you have been considering it for a long time. The way it is powered is a plus as it saves money long-term. What lets it down is what you get for the price of the basic kit. There is a separate attachment available with a soft head on it (ultra soft fingertip attachment) which would add another level to the product; it would be nice for it to be included in this package. In terms of power it is quite strong. So far we have only used it on the lowest setting but that had proved more than enough for us thus far. It does rattle a bit once taken away from the body and it can be a little distracting. As I said my expectations were met but I was not blown away by the toy. Worth getting if you are curious and have tried a few other toys. The price makes it a little steep for someone just testing the waters when it comes to sex toys.
Experience
This being the toy that it is there were high expectations, neither my wife nor I knew what to expect from an oscillating massager compared to a traditional vibrator. I am pleased to say our expectations were largely met but not hugely exceeded. The heads while in theory should have six different heads to use only have about three as there are such subtle differences in them that you will not feel them. As described by my partner, the actual sensation of the eroscillator in use while it is different from a vibrator is not a million miles away from it in sensation.
Follow-up commentary
I've listed that I liked it and still do but truthfully that is only because there is no "Largely Indifferent" option. My partner has used it a handful of times since I put my review up but not as much as we would have expected given its reputation.

For us anyway it simply doesn’t get use because it is not different enough from a regular vibrator. For this reason it gets forgotten about as it has to be taken out and the attachment clipped on and the cord unravelled and plugged in, then it can be fairly noisy due to the oscillating function. Compare this to a rechargeable vibrator (of which my partner has 3 in her bedside locker) they are just to hand and easy to use when the mood strikes; plus they make half as much noise.

Also I feel it would be unfair to say that lack of use is entirely the toys fault. I know my partner has moved more towards dildos lately than vibrator stimulation so this has played a part. Overall being a serious enough toy collectors we don’t regret getting the Eroscillator 2 plus kit as it is just one of those things you have to try. However it is an expensive purchase so I would wait until you are well established with your collection before making the investment. As I have said it isn’t that this is a bad toy but it simply wasn’t really for us.

Sooo, Dr.Who watchers might find themselves recognizing this toy lol.

Thanks for the review! Do you feel that this toy's attachments could be placed in the dishwasher, I would love some cleaning info as well as actual material info. Extended review template might help with this.

    Thank you all.

@Katelyn, there is no actual material information available. The specifications on here list it as being made entirely from plastic and the booklet that came with it listed it as "a bio-compatible flexible material" which I mentioned above. Rubber feeling or seeming material is the best description I could give without knowing exactly what it is.
