See you EroscilLATOR

You may, at first glance, confuse the Eroscillator with a steampunk inspired toothbrush, but it's advertised as being one of the leading givers of orgasms amongst women. This product is unique, but I found its pin point stimulation wasn't for me. I only bring it out when lesbian porn is involved and I want something more realistic feeling. Broad vibration lovers may pass, but I think everyone should give at least give it one go to see if it's their key to an earth shattering orgasm.

Use

The Eroscillator kind of looks like something out of a dentist's office or a tool box, but is advertised to deliver you an orgasm in a very unique way. The 'oscillations' are a side to side kind of swaying motion that feel more like a quick finger against a surface rather than vibrations that typical vibrators offer. Unlike the Hitachi, it isn't the best for back massages or sore shoulders, but many women have sung its praises in the fact that it can get the job done like no other.

There are attachments that are sold as a kit or separately that allow the product to be used anally, internally, or clitorally, though you'll probably find the best results in using it as a clitoral stimulator.

Material / Texture

The base of the toy is made from plastic, which is easy to clean, easy to maintain. It has no smell or taste to it at all, and feels smooth to the touch. The base has ribs lining it to make it easier to hold, so it won't slip out of your hands as easily and provides a nice place for gripping.

The attachments included with the Eroscillator are also plastic, and therefore, are very easy to clean. You can sanitize them with just about anything antibacterial, since they're non porous. You get three different attachments with this kit, and all three interchangeable heads offer a little something different.

Head 1: A cup-like head that can be used for nipple or clitoral stimulation/three raised nubs on the other side
Head 2: A textured head that has a cluster of small beads on one side/flat back on the other
Head 3: A ring of raised nubs on one side/a cup on the other

So, you actually get six different textures to choose from. I expected all the attachments to be quite firm, but they surprisingly weren't. They're firm enough, but are flexible when squeezed and almost feel like they're silicone. They're easily removable from the base and are all smooth to the touch. Just about anyone could enjoy the texture, since the attachments aren't firm and won't be way too much for those who don't like a lot of texture. The heads offer a little something for everyone, and a different stimulation with every single one.

You don't have to be an advanced user to enjoy the Eroscillator, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to try a little something different.

    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

The color of this toy is strange and close to the color of every pretty penny you paid for it. I quite like the design because I feel like it looks almost mechanical and heavy duty. Although it isn't really a heavy duty toy, I feel like it kind of adds to the pitch that it's one of a kind. This definitely doesn't look like every other toy you have in your toy box.

The base of the toy measures at a good 8 1/2", 11" with one of the heads attached, which means it's a few inches shy of the size of the Hitachi. I've included an image of a comparison between the Hitachi and the Couture pink inspire.

You're also getting a good bit of cord with this toy. The cord is about 12 ft worth, and that's a lot when you don't have outlets directly next to you. What I really love most about maneuvering the toy is that it's so incredibly lightweight. You won't get an arm workout using it for long lengths of time, as it weighs in just a little over a pound. It doesn't even feel that heavy. I like the general shape and the attachments are really easy to put on and take off. There are sections that you just line up and pop it in and pull it off when you want to change them out or to clean them.

The product is discreet without the heads attached, but just the base will most likely have anyone who looks at it wondering what in the hell it's for. I would consider it great for travel, because it doesn't weigh a lot, and the heads are detachable and can be carried separately along with you in a small bag. It may not be the most discreet of toys, but it's more easily disguised than the Hitachi.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I'm a broad vibration lover, but I tried this product out for fun and curiosity. If you love pin point stimulation, you might find this toy to be perfect for you.

When it came down to it, the Eroscillator did what it says it'll do and offers a really different masturbation experience. However, my clit didn't quite agree with needing the toy pressed directly to it to get the full effect of every movement. The product is unique in the fact that it provides something other than the standard vibrations found with most vibrators. It in fact, isn't a vibrator at all and the motions are pretty different. Instead of vibrating, the heads pivot on an axis back and forth quickly at thousands of oscillations per minute. This feels more like someone rubbing your clit really quickly, rather than how other toys feel. Most women find this a lot more pleasurable than a vibrator. The Eroscillator's sensation can be described as weaker than a traditional vibe, but more intense for some due to the fact that it's an entirely different motion. At first it may just feel like a standard vibration to some, but with more and more use, you really start to feel how this toy is different.

The power slider is really easy to use in light or dark. It has "Eroscillator 2" written across it, and it simply slides up and down like a hairdryer switch to change from three different settings. Changing the settings is a smooth switch, but there's a little bit of resistance so that they don't just slide into another setting while you're using it by accident. The three settings are the standard Low, Medium, and High. The lowest is pretty low and the high is fairly strong. They may not be strong enough for the Clit O' Steel brigade, however, and I found that the Eroscillator was simply too weak for me to even get close to an orgasm. All of the settings are extremely quiet and can barely be heard, however, with the attachments removed, that's a different story. It isn't silent when you aren't pressing it against a surface, but it's minimal enough to be considered 1 bee and pretty discreet sounding. I found that my Hitachi is more preferable over this toy and wonderful when I want to lay in bed and grind up against something sturdy, but the Eroscillator doesn't provide that same appeal.

Underneath the base is where you plug the product in to power. The cord is removable completely from the base and can be stored separately when you aren't using it. When you're ready to clean it, water can't come in contact with a lot of the toy because it isn't waterproof. You instead, can just wash the plastic attachments separately.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is quick and easy for clean up and maintenance. All of the surfaces are plastic and therefore, the heads can be boiled or run under warm water and cleaned with soap. The rest of the toy shouldn't come in contact with water because it could get inside and severely ruin it. The base is plastic and can be wiped down with a damp wash cloth or a wipe if it happens to get sticky with lube or anything else.

The toy can be taken apart for a deeper cleaning if necessary. The top portion can be removed, as well as the slider, if anything gets into the crevices that you need to wipe clean. Make sure to dry all of the parts completely before assembling them back together.

Any lube is compatible with plastic and won't damage the material. When storing, I just wrap my cord neatly and store the Eroscillator base in the box with the attachments. It may not be the absolute best storage method, but it does work if you don't feel like purchasing extra bags for all the attachments and parts.

Packaging

I really love the packaging for this product, because you get what you pay for. It's both interesting and informative. Your product will arrive in a discreet cardboard box, that then opens into the actual box for the Eroscillator.

Inside, you'll find the base to the toy in plastic wrapping that once removed, makes the toy void to be returned to the store. Underneath is information about the different heads and electrical plug.

When you lift up the flap that has the information about the different attachments, you'll find the attachments themselves and the electrical plug bundled and ready to be opened.

There are also included pamphlets that let you know the hazards, warnings, and uses of the toy, as well as interesting tidbits of information. The pamphlets are extremely informative and helpful if you're curious about how to use the toy. It includes extremely close detail to the heads names, and how to take apart the toy if you're looking to clean it. One of the best parts about this product is that it's nearly impossible to not know your facts about it and how to use it, because so many instructions and tips are given in the pamphlet. I find that this packaging would be fairly discreet, because it simply has the name of the product across the top and nothing else. It also would make a fantastic gift.

Experience

We all spent a good bit of dough on this toy when we got it, whether we saved up for it or just bought it on a whim. I guess it's understandable that when it didn't work out for me, I was disappointed. In the Eroscillator's defense, I'm married to my Hitachi and this toy is an entirely different ball game. I have to be in a particular mood for it to feel somewhat good, and that mood usually involves fantasizing about fingering or my girlfriend rubbing me. If I break out the lesbian porn, it can bring me a bit closer to coming. I have to give it three stars because the packaging was impeccable and informative, and the toy has worked for a lot of different women. My clit didn't like it as much as I wished, and even when I begged it to like it more, it gave a big "Nu uh." So, in the box the Eroscillator went, and I got it out to try again a few days later. It was okay, but just okay. It got a little bit too intense for me, and on the lower settings, it wasn't enough. So in conclusion, when I'm in the mood, this toy still doesn't quite do it for me. It's disheartening, because it's such a fun and unique toy and I feel differently than the rest of reviewers that say it's too butt ugly to believe. I enjoy an odd looking toy once in a while. Overall, the functions are great for someone who doesn't need a lot of rumble in the clitoral department, but loves stimulation that is more direct. I much prefer the broader head of my Hitachi. I guess those deep, rumbly vibrations just do it for me. I want to give the Eroscillator another chance in the future, but I fear it'll only turn out the same way. My clit hungers for something more than this strange, neat toy can deliver.

I guess I can just use it for.. well, dorky pictures or something.
Follow-up commentary
I wanted and still want to love this so much. My picky vagina just won't let it happen, as it's more of a tease for me than anything else. I can't condemn it for being a useless toy overall, because it's probably just not my cup of tea. I know tons of others love it and it's probably best for someone who prefers direct clit contact and I prefer something strong enough like the Hitachi so that I don't have to place it right on my clit for stimulation.
