Oscillating massager discontinued

-Like No Other- (100th Review)

The Eroscillator is a clitoral stimulator like no other. The oscillations are nothing like a traditional vibrator. They give me a feeling that I've never experienced. This is a luxury toy, at its finest. I'm glad that I took the plunge and purchased it. For solo sessions, this packs a heavy punch.

Use

I wanted to choose the most interesting toy that I own, for my 100th Milestone review. When I thought about which I would write about, the Eroscillator immediately came to mind. This is a must have in my collection, and I will tell you why.

The Eroscillator is an oscillating massager that is made by the Advanced response corp. It is a widely talked about stimulator that is highly endorsed by Dr. Ruth Westheimer. A lot of effort went into the making of this toy because researchers wanted to find something that worked for women who had never had a clitoral orgasm, or who had trouble reaching an orgasm from other forms of stimulation. The Eroscillator is mainly designed for clitoral use, and to produce stronger orgasms.

This particular set is only used for external use because this set doesn't contain any internal attachments. This kit has 6 heads/3 attachments. Each head has a two sided attachment. These attachments work by stimulating the clitoris in different ways. We are all different, and we all have different tastes, so we all aren't going to like the same thing, right? These attachments bring something new to the table. There are also 3 settings of power. The settings are low, medium, and high.
I personally like the medium setting. The high almost gives me a tickling sensation because of the powerful oscillations. The oscillations don't move back and forth over a large area. They oscillate in a smaller area which allows it to move pretty darn fast, in a little area.
There is no learning curve with this toy, and the control feature is so easy to use. It has a sliding bar switch that starts at off and then goes to high by sliding it a little further to the right. It's so simple that I can use it in the dark, without any problems. I know exactly which way to turn it off and on. The sliding switch is very easy to slide. It doesn't take any force to get it to the next level of power. This is truly a toy for beginners to advanced users. When I ordered it, I thought that it would be complicated to use. I was in for a big surprise. The most tedious thing about this toy is giving it a deep clean, and that's not hard to do.

The attachments included are:

-Ball & Cup

-Golden Spoon

-Grapes & Cockscomb

The first attachment that I'm going to talk about is the Ball & Cup head.

The ball & cup has a concave shape similar to the golden spoon on one side. On that side, one of the differences is that it's deeper and it has more of a rounded shape. This attachment works for those with slightly larger nipples. My whole nipple can fit inside, and it's fully covered. My partner seemed to love this feature. Most average sized to larger clits can fit into the cup. I'm going to provide the measurements below so you can see if this would be a fit for you. I've noticed that since my clitoris is average sized, I have to apply just a little more pressure to get the full effect. Just don't overdo it, and press too deeply.
The ball side of the attachment has 3 raised notches that are larger than the ones on the golden spoon. This is a great texture, and I like to have a little more movement involved when I use this side. This side can be used for for clitoral, nipple, labia, and testicle stimulation as well. It's not a fancy side, and the sensations are pretty average but it does work well for beginners. I found that it worked well for me in the beginning. The neck is firm, but the cup is a little pliable , but it's less pliable than the golden spoon attachment. It's not enough to bend in half, but it does have a little give.

I'm going to talk about the Golden spoon next.

I like using both sides of the Golden spoon to stimulate my clitoris. On one side of the spoon, there are 8 circular nubs. The nubs are in an oblong, or oval shape on the head. I like the way the nubs feel. On the other side of the spoon, there is a spoon-like shape with a small nub at the top. This is good for cupping the nipples or clitoris. It feels absolutely fantastic. The neck of the toy is rigid which allows for a bit more pressure to be applied to the clitoris or nipples. The rounded spoon area is very pliable. I can almost bend it in half. This can can be squeezed on the sides, if needed, although I didn't need to move any of it. It worked great for applying the right amount of pressure. I didn't notice a significant feeling from the small nub inside the spoon portion of the toy. I'm assuming that those with clitorises that are a little more sensitive than mine, would be able to feel it. A great use for the side with the 8 nubs is to rub along the labia or the areola. This attachment is also great for those with smaller nipples, as larger ones may not fit fully inside. I can definitely feel the sensations on those parts of my body.

The third attachment that I'm going to talk about is the Grapes & Cockscomb attachment.

In my opinion, this one provides the most intense stimulation. The texture on this attachment is out of this world but it could be a little too much for the beginning user. For me, it's my favorite attachment of the bunch. Like a power queen needs some power, I need some texture with this toy. I wasn't always that way, but I've learned to like it, and I actually crave it. The other attachments don't get as much use as they used to, since this one has become one of my favorites. My other favorite is the soft finger attachment. I will talk about that below.
My favorite side of the grapes and cockscomb is the side with the grapes. There are 10 grapes on the grape side. I can feel each and every one, while I move the handle of the Eroscillator around. There is a good amount of pressure to this attachment. There is a little pliability, but the neck is rigid like the others. Sometimes the texture from the grapes gets to be a bit too much. When that happens, I change over to the other side. This side is like half of a flat lollipop. It does have some raised rectangular areas on it. This provides a minimal amount of texture, but nothing overwhelming. This side is less intense, and it can fit right in between the lips and can really get right to the clitoris. I sometimes switch to this side when I'm close to climaxing because it gives more of a pinpoint stimulation that I need when I'm nearing my orgasm.

I can vouch for the company when I say that the statement is true about no numbness. I've never experienced any, from any of the attachments.

Material / Texture

The Eroscillator handle is made of plastic, which is an 8 on the Eden safety scale. The plastic is latex free, hypo-allergenic, and phthalates free. You can tell by holding the plastic, that it's not cheaply made. Everything fits on nicely, and there are no sharp areas on the toy, or the plastic.

The attachments are molded out of of TPR. I had to look on the website to grab this information. TPR is a 7 on the Eden safety scale.
I found the information about TPR here. All attachments are Phtalates and PVC free. On the website, it states that TPR is the safest material for your health. I don't agree with this statement. Glass, stainless, and then silicone are better than TPR.

There was really no smell present when I first opened up the toy. I didn't taste this product because it's not made to be tasted.

Each of the attachments give a little something different, texture wise. My absolute favorite is the Grapes and Cockscomb. The grape-like texture is what I need to get me off with a bang.

None of the attachments were sharp, and they didn't scratch my skin in any way.

There is drag on most of the attachments when there is no lubricant used. The manual says to use water based lubricants with all the attachments.

The attachments are not firm enough and the toy oscillates, so it wouldn't work for deep tissue massage, so I wouldn't suggest trying that.

All the attachments have some visible seams on the sides. You can definitely feel them, but since they are on the sides, they don't cause any issues while using them. I've never used the sides of the attachments. If you do, you may feel the seams.

Design / Shape / Size

The Eroscillator has a shape that really does remind me of a large rechargeable toothbrush. It's rather lengthy, but I'm assuming that it's for the powerful oscillations. It's not so large that it becomes uncomfortable while holding. I can hold it fine with no problems, and my hands are small.

The handle is a bronze, or copper color. It's darker than the attachments. The attachments have more of a gold in their coloring. The plastic is shiny, and light reflects off it. The power cord if more of a brown bronze color. The cord is 12 feet long. That is really more than enough for me, although some may not think the same way that I do, about it.

On the handle, there is a spiral like design that encircles most of the middle portion. This allows for a better grip when holding the toy from any angle. On the front of the toy, there is a long slider bar. The slider bar is 4 1/2" long. It has raised lettering on it that reads 'EROSCILLATOR 2'. In the off position, you will see an O near the top where the attachment is. This means that the power is off. When you slide it up one notch, the O is no longer there. Now there is a 1 showing at the bottom of the toy, to turn the oscillations up faster, slide the bar up again. Now you will see the number 2 at the bottom. To get to the last, and highest setting, slide the bar up one last time, until you see the 3. This gives the fastest oscillations.

The attachments snap on to the handle, easily. There is a small black tip that the attachments connect to. It sticks out of the top of the handle. You just line them up with the way that it fits in, like a key. Once you get it lined up, press down. You will hear it snap into place. Once it's in place correctly, you don't have to worry about it coming out. It stays in there without any problems. To remove it, simply pull straight up on the attachment. It pulls right out.

With it being corded, it's able to give us more power. I would like to see a rechargeable version, with an amount of power that is similar. A girl can only dream, right?

The Eroscillator is not a heavy toy. Even with each attachment, it's pretty lightweight. I have listed sizing information and the weight below.

-Handle length: 8 1/4"

-Cord length: 12 feet long

-Sizes of Grapes & Cockscomb- : 2 3/8", 3/4"

-Sizes of of Ball & Cup: 3 3/8", 3/4"

-Sizes of Golden Spoon: 4 3/4", 7/8"

-Handle weight: 7.4 ounces

The toy is not hard to hide when the attachments are removed. It's corded so you won't have to worry about anything turning on while it's in transit. I keep mine in a bag that I purchased for one of my rabbit vibrators. I'm able to keep the handle, cord, and all the attachments inside with no problem. The bag is only a little heavier because of the power adapter. I can still take it with me for travel. I'm not sure if TSA would know what it was. They would probably think it was a fancy toothbrush.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I really like how easy the Eroscillator is to use. It's powered by a wall charger and a slide bar switch, you can't get any better than that. You just slide the switch down to your desired level, and if you need to back up some, just slide the switch back the other way. It's not hard to slide back and forth. The attachments are easy to fit onto the Eroscillator. They have somewhat of an interlocking system that works to hold them on. You simply push straight down to put them on and take them off.
The Eroscillator is so quiet that someone in the bed sleeping will not hear it. Believe me, I used it and it didn't wake up my partner.

My clitoris is pretty shallow, and not deep down in between my lips. I'm not sure if that would matter or not, but I wanted to say that the ones who have had problems with the Eroscillator in the past, may have deeper set clitorises. This could cause the lips to weaken the oscillations. If you've had these problems, try opening up the lips wider, or sitting on a seat where it causes the clitoris to protrude farther out from the labia.

Even though this is considered to be a clitoral toy, I've used all the attachments to stimulate my nipples, breasts, inner thighs, and labia. They all worked well on all of those areas. I've also used most of them on my partner's testicles and his shaft. He admitted that it was surely a different sensation, when I was using those. He liked how they felt, but he thought it was better for using on a female's anatomy.

The toy isn't waterproof. It has a power cord that plugs into the bottom of the handle. This cord plugs into a wall outlet. This is one of the most important reasons to keep away from children and invalids.

The power cord is not fixed into the base. When you first take it out of the box, it is not plugged into the handle. To put it in the handle, you just stick in the metal connector pin, and turn it clockwise until it locks into position. To remove it, just turn counter clockwise and pull out. You can leave it in, or remove it for storage. I keep mine inside. Since I own many household items that have a plug like this, I've learned to be gentle when removing the plug. Sometimes, it can cause the contacts to lose a connection after repeated use of inserting, and taking out. Never yank out the cord, or put too much force on it.

Care and Maintenance

The Eroscillator handle and attachments are super easy to clean. For cleaning up the toy when you want a basic clean, you can use some of the Eden toy wipes or a damp washcloth with warm soap and water. You can also use an antibacterial toy spray. Never immerse the handle in water, while cleaning. The attachments are the only part that can safely be placed in water.

If you want to deep clean the toy, there is a way to remove the protective outer cover. There are is also instructions included with the manual. To give the toy and in depth clean, start by removing the cover that protects the actual part that operates. The operating part is the small black tip coming out of the top. Once you have the cover removed, simply turn the cover counter clockwise, and slide it out. You can then wash it in warm soapy water. Make sure to dry completely before placing back on the handle. There must not be water anywhere on the cover when placing back on as it can possibly get inside.

I've included exact details on deep cleaning the Eroscillator.

Since the heads of the attachments are TPR, I would recommend using the water based lubricant with them. The manual also states this. Avoid all silicone and oil lubricants because they can damage the surface of the toy. There was no problems with the toys touching each other in the package, so they are good to go if you need to store them together. This tells me that there must not be a large amount of silicone used. I wouldn't suggest boiling the attachments because they could possibly melt. Do not get any lubricant down into the handle of the toy. This will more than likely damage it beyond repair. I suggest to add a small amount of lubricant on the attachments, or to add it into the cups. Never go overboard with it, as it can leak.

The attachments are somewhat porous so if you are going to share with a partner. Please use a toy cover or condom. It's best to be safe than sorry.

To store the Eroscillator, I use a storage bag that I own. It's actually for one of my Jopen's, but I don't need a bag of that size for a small Jopen. I can fit the handle, cord, and attachments in the bag with plenty of room to spare. There is even enough room for some water based lube.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

The Eroscillator kit arrived in a brown outer box that is 11" X 6". This outer box opens up to reveal a rose colored box that is 8 5/8" X 5 1/2". This box has two tabs on the front that go down into the box. It's fairly easy to open up. Once you open it up, you will see the Eroscillator itself, wrapped in a clear plastic. The plastic has a safety summary printed on the label. I was very pleased with the safety seal. This really proved that no one else touched the toy under the packaging. I wish more companies did this. Safety seals would make me more likely to purchase a product. This already adds another plus to the purchase.

Here is what the label says:

The Eroscillator is sitting in a cardboard insert, and on the other side, the insert is raised up. The Eroscillator is visible as soon as you open it. The attachments and the power cord are under the raised insert. You just have to raise it up to get under it. Also under the insert, there is a instruction sheet, and an information manual.

The actual cardboard insert in the box shows a photo of all 3 attachments and the charger plug.
On the instruction sheet, it talks about electrical products and basic safety precautions.
It also states to read all instructions before using.
The card also has this information:

DANGER- To reduce the risk of electrocution:

1. Always unplug this appliance immediately after using.

2.Do not use while bathing.

3.Do not place or store this appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

4.Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.

5.Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

The above instructions are extremely important to abide by. Grabbing an electrical item in water can cause death.

Below are also important warnings:

1. A electrical appliance should never be left unattended.

2. Close supervision is required if the appliance is left near invalids.

3. Use only for use described. Also, do not use any attachments that are not made for the Eroscillator.

4. Never operate the Eroscillator if it has any damage to the toy or cord.

5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces as it can melt the plastic.

6. Never leave on while sleeping.

7. Never drop it, or insert into any other appliance.

8. Do not use outdoors or operate near any aerosol products, or forms of oxygen, such as tanks or machines.

The information manual is an accordion style sheet. It's the same color as the inner box. This information sheet talks about Dr. Ruth Westheimer, and how she endorses and highly recommends the Eroscillator. It also has information about how the Swedish researched for 7 years, and spent 2 millions dollars, to come up with this device.

The manual also shows both kits that are available, which are the Eroscillator plus 2 kit (Mine) and the Eroscillator 2 top deluxe kit.

Each package contains:

- One sensual massager

- 6 or 8 heads which are 3 or 5 attachments

- A 12 foot interchangeable tinsel cord, with its safety step down plug-in converter.

Many other attachments can be purchased separately.

It also gives the website for more information, which is really handy.

www.eroscillator.com

The manual gives complete instructions on how to use the Eroscillator, and also instructions on how to deep clean it. There are helpful diagrams included throughout the pages.

On one page, it shows a intimate lubricant that can be used by both sexes. It's a water based lubricant and it's safe to use with the Eroscillator attachments. There is also some photos of the attachments that are included with the kit, and some of the extras that you can purchase separately. The sheet is loaded with much more helpful information. I've summed it up for you guys in my review. I've actually caught myself reading over the manual several times. It's very handy.

Both of the boxes would be good to store the Eroscillator in. It's pretty discreet because it doesn't have any nudity on the box. There is a Logo on the top of the box that says:

Eroscillator

The science of pleasure.

Someone may get curious about that, if it was left out in the open. I think the outer box is perfect to store everything in. There is no writing, and it's a basic box with no writing on it. They would ultimately be fine for gift giving. I think it would be a very nice gift. I would consider giving it as a wedding gift, anniversary gift, or bridal shower gift.

If you didn't want to keep the package, both boxes are recyclable.

The information sheet and instruction manual were very helpful. I went to it several times when I gave it the first thorough cleaning.

    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage
    • Recyclable

Personal comments

I stayed in suspense so long over this toy, that I had to finally bite the bullet and purchase it. I had to find out for myself with this steampunk looking toy was all about. I'm ever so happy that I did!
In addition to being the most complex toy that I own, in terms of feeling, and sensation; it's also the weirdest looking. Don't let the color or style sway your decision on buying it. It's going to do for you what most vibrators can't. I use it in the darker room most of the time, so the color doesn't bother me.

Most of the attachments feel like they are lifting the clitoris and moving it back and forth. It truly is a sensation that's unexplainable. Another great thing about the Eroscillator is that it has given orgasms to women who have never had one with a regular vibrator. Now, that is saying a lot! Just for that reason alone, I may have purchased it.

The Eroscillator and its attachments are unlike any other toy that I've tried, period. It's not a normal vibe because it doesn't vibrate. It oscillates. Many of you are wondering what the difference is, the difference is that it doesn't have any numbing, like traditional vibrators. It almost mimics a finger like motion that moves back and forth, but so much faster than any of us could ever move our fingers. It moves at a whopping 7200 oscillations per minute. That is so fast that it's hard to see it even when the toy is in close view. It moves back and forth, similar to an oscillating house fan. It moves from side to side. I would have really liked if the oscillations were up and down. It's hard to position the toy to use it where the oscillations are up and down. I would like to try one like that, as I like for my clitoris to be rubbed up and down.

The handle has had a tendency to become a little warm if I've used it for a long period of time. This has only happened once, and it was when I was experimenting. This was probably over the span of one hour, on the highest setting. It hasn't happened since, but I usually only need to use it for about 10 minutes.

Experience

The first times I used it, I did exactly what I wasn't supposed to do. I applied far too much pressure. It had me thinking that my purchase was nothing but a waste of money. I played around and experimented with it for a few days on my own; I quickly found out what the problem was. I had been applying too much pressure. Once I stopped that and did it the right way, the orgasms came easy. This is the ultimate tip that I will give to you. If you follow this cardinal rule, you should be pleased with the Eroscillator.

When using this toy, it feels powerful to me. I'm sort of a power queen, but if I go days without a clitoral orgasm, my clitoris is back to a normal sensitivity. The Eroscillator has worked great for me every time, since I learned that I needed to hold it lightly against my clitoris.

I heard some great reviews on a product that works with the Eroscillator. It's actually made to use with it. I was thrilled to hear of this product. It's called the Eroscillator ultra soft finger tip attachment. Many swear by it, and I had to join the crowd. It's something that is super soft, and it feels like a fluffy marshmallow on my clitoris. I would highly recommend this attachment to those who don't like hard textures. I can press my thumb into it, and it's so soft. You can find out more about it here.

The cushy pad is made from medical silicone elastomer, and it has been ultrasonically welded for water-tightness and durability. Do not use silicone based lubricants with it, since it is made from silicone. They don't mix well, and the silicone lubricant will damage the attachment beyond repair.

The head does attract lint, dust, and hair.

The power supply will tend to get warm if the toy is plugged in for longer than an hour. I've noticed that using for a long time can do this.

I've tried to use it during sex but the large handle seems to get in the way. I'm still going to continue to find a position that works for that.

One thing that I wanted to talk about is the safety wrapper that is on the handle. Once you remove it, the toy is voided for returning. So, if you get it and decide that it isn't for you, do not take off the safety wrapper.

The trick to this toy is to use it lightly. DO NOT dig deep into your clitoris with it. This only lessens the power.
Follow-up commentary
The Eroscillator is definitely a toy that is unlike any other. The key is to use the toy lightly. Never apply too much pressure.

I am so glad you mentioned about the no pressure advice and the soft tip attachment! I bought the attachment and it made a huge difference for me as I don't care for any of the 5 that came with mine. Thanks to your review, I was prepared and ordered the soft tip with it and I also knew how to approach using this toy. Excellent review, as always, and the pictures are top notch! THANKS!
