Oscillating massager discontinued

Sound of Heaven Pulling Down.

Luckily for me, Dr. Ruth was 100% correct. I still enjoy vibrations for those quickie moments, but the Eroscillator has become my go-to pampering toy. When I want to take my time to tease myself and take that slow climb to ecstasy, there is no other option out there for me. The oscillations are different, and they take some getting used to. My electric bill may go up, but at least I am satisfied every single day.

Use

Oh, the infamous Eroscillator. That name sums up all of the orgasms I have been having recently. I am at the point in my life where the same old routine is beginning to bore the life out of me. I had some points saved up, but I didn't want the same old dildo or vibrator. I needed a challenge, something unique and completely different than anything else in my collection. The first thing that popped into my head was a toy I had been looking at for over a year but was always unsure, so I finally quit being a pansy. I ordered my very own Eroscillator. I bought this one because I read another review saying that the difference in power wasn't anything special. Also, the extra attachments for the top deluxe set did not entice me enough. I have always heard that oscillations are so different when compared to vibrations, and I wanted to put that to the test. My review may have more pictures than some prefer, but I wanted to leave no side of this toy hidden.
This isn't a vibrator, which is what most will think. When I first became aware of sex toys, that is what I thought this was- a very, very expensive plug in vibrator. Instead of vibrating, it move back and forth like a finger. The movement is very fast though, so it can feel like vibrations the first time. Once you go back to vibrators, that is when you will recognize the difference in the motions and the way your body responds to it. It cannot be used for any type insertion (vaginal, anal). It feels amazing on the clit, nipples, outside of the anus, the penis, and even to tease and tickle those sensitive spots (bottom of the feet, under the arms, and back of the knees). While it doesn't work great as a massager, it does wonders for slowly building up the passion and sensuality.
Honestly, I would like to say that this would be a perfect toy for everyone, but we all know everyone is different. It is really going to depend on your body, but we will get into that some more later. Because this plugs in, I would never use this near water like a tub or shower. That really sucks for those who only have privacy in the shower, but I love it so much that I would be willing to ignore the threat of getting caught.

Material / Texture

The base of the Eroscillator and the necks of the attachments are made out of a very hard and sturdy plastic. The entire getup comes in a rich bronze color, which is hated by most but I easily overlook it. It has a glossy finish to it, which can be difficult to hold onto. Luckily, there are multiple ridges that covers most of the base. This gives slippery fingers something to grip. The tips of the attachments are made out of a very soft and yielding TPR-like plastic (I know that doesn't make sense). Some of the attachments have more give than the others, but they all stand up to pressure very well. The attachments have a lot of drag. Mix that with some of the intense texture, and things can quickly become uncomfortable if not lubed up enough. They can also attract quite a bit of pet hair if left out in the open.
Plastic is known for having no smell or taste. It is also latex free, hypo-allergenic, and phthalates free. The base and attachments all have a visible seam, but I cannot feel it with my fingers or during use. The three attachments give a broad selection when it comes to texture from smooth all the way to extremely bumpy. Some of the attachments may seem boring or crazy looking to some, but at least there is some variety.
    • Bumpy
    • No odor
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The attachments are in order of intensity and flexibility. The first being the least intense and the most flexible, and the last being the most intense and the least flexible. This line up is based on my experiences.
Golden Spoon:
This attachment is the most simple one in the bunch, and it is the perfect one to start with. When it comes to flexibility, the Golden Spoon is rigid in the neck (where it attaches to the base), but the actual head where the oscillations take place is firm yet gives quite a bit. When pushed on either side of the tip, I can get the sides to touch each other with medium pressure. The front of the attachment is the spoon part. It has a dip in it that is perfect for squirting lube into and then applying it to the clit. This way lube doesn't get all over your hands. This dip allows the attachment to envelope the clit. At the top of the spoon is a little nub that sticks out just the tiniest bit. When I use it for solo purposes, I can't feel the nub because I hold it upside down. When my hubby uses it on me, I can feel the nub giving my clit extra stimulation. It never feels sharp or painful as the material has some give. Located on the other side of the Golden Spoon is a series of raised dots that form an oval shape. While the toy is off, the dots feel soft to the touch. However, they feel pretty hard and rough when the toy is turned on. This would be perfect for those that like a little bit of texture. In total, there are eight dots.

Ball & Cup:
Much like its sibling, this attachment has a side that is made to cup the clitoris. There are two noticeable differences about the Cup and the Spoon. The Cup is more round and circular while the Spoon is definitely more oval in shape. This is perfect for fitting all different kinds of clits. The Cup lacks the slightly protruding nub that can be found on the Spoon, which is perfect for those that are sensitive to texture. This one is more intense for me than the Golden Spoon for two huge reasons: the shape and the depth. The circular shape just fits my clit better, so the oscillations penetrate more deeply. My clit barely sticks out, and because of the shallow depth of the Cup, every part of my clit is stimulated at once. With the Golden Spoon, it kind of feels like only the sides and the tip are being stimulated.
The other side of this attachment are three large raised bumps that form a triangle. I don't really feel anything extraordinary when I use this side, unless I am using it on my nipples. My nipples just seem to fit right in the middle of that triangle. As far as flexibility goes, I can push the edges in somewhat, but I cannot get them to touch like with the Golden Spoon. The edges are not sharp, but they do leave my skin feeling tingly after long time use.

Grapes & Cockscomb:
This is the holy mother of texture! It looks like something out of a science fiction or fantasy novel, and it is intense. Most will find it way too overwhelming because it the extreme texture, but there are a choice few (like me) who will find so much pleasure in this tool. The Grapes side is covered in 10 highly raised bumps. There are three on each side and four going down the middle. The bumps on the side can be squished in a tiny bit and can be flexed forwards and backwards a little as well. The user's manual states that this attachment will probably produce intense orgasms because it is designed to take maximum advantage of the oscillating movement. This plus the crazy texture is why this one can almost seem painful to some. However, I love to use this one as my body gets more and more sensitive during solo time. I have never been irritated or left numb by this or any attachment. While the Grapes side is more broad, the Cockscomb side is narrow and slim. This makes it perfect for more precise stimulation. It is called Cockscomb because it there are alternating raised and indented ridges much like the design of a comb. I can push the side in a tiny bit, but it is easier to get it to flex back and forth. This attachment is the most fun and unique, but it takes some time getting warmed up to it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Inserting the attachment of choice:
The attachments can be inserted with either side facing the control slider. Simply line up the little rectangles (located on the bottom of the attachment) with the rectangles inside the top of the base. Press the attachments firmly into the top of the base until you hear a loud click, and then you are good to go.

Running the Eroscillator:
Start off by plugging the electrical cord into the base of the toy. You will notice that there is a raised rim in the shape of a U, which helps the cord go in easier and keeps it in place. There is also a little upward curve located on the outside of the base. This allows the toy to stand up while plugged in. When plugging the cord into the base, you will plug it in at an angle where the cord drapes to the right of the upward curve. A little bit of pressure may be needed in order to plug it in. Then, turn the plug clockwise so that the cord is now in the upward curve. This step has locked the cord into place. There are no worries about accidentally unplugging the toy when you are in the heat of the moment.
The next step would be to turn the Eroscillator on. On the side of the base, you will notice a slider of sorts. It has the name "Eroscillator 2" in raised letters, and when off there will be a 0 located at the top of the slider. The toy has three speeds (low, medium, and high). Simply push the slider up, and a 1 will appear at the bottom of the slider. This means that the toy is now on low. To increase, follow the same steps (2=Medium, 3=High). To turn off, push the slider back down all the way. It takes very little effort to get the slider to move up and down, so a speedy shut off is definitely possible. However, this means that it is also possible to accidentally turn the intensity up or down during play sessions. The oscillations feel deep to me, but then again I have no experience with oscillations. They are almost entirely focused in the head of whichever attachment is on it, but I could feel some lighter oscillations in the base. Considering the kind of power this thing has, I am surprised by how little it carries into the base. I am also amazed at how quiet this thing is. This is my quietest and one of my most powerful toys in my collection. It doesn't matter which attachment I use. Even on high, I have to bring it up to my ears in order to hear the almost silent humming. The noise does get a tiny bit louder when a lot of pressure is applied, but nothing that would attract attention. Speaking of pressure, I have put this toy to my ultimate test. I need pressure in order to orgasm clitorally. No matter how hard I dared to press, the oscillations never slowed down! I am simply in shock at how well this toy worked for me. One thing I have to note is that I never experienced this toy becoming hot or overheated. It felt warm after a long session, but only in tip of the attachment and where my hand was gripping the base. After playtime is over, unplug the larger end from the outlet, clean, and store it until next time. In no way is this toy waterproof or splash proof. Never ever try to use this near water.

Care and Maintenance

If you are in a hurry, simply wipe the toy down with a either a slightly damp cloth or toy wipe. Again, never put this toy under running water. For a better and more thorough clean, follow these steps:
1.)Unplug toy, and remove the attachment from the base.
2.)Push the slider all the way to the high setting.
3.)Look at the top of the base (the smooth part) and you will see a raised II above the 0.
4.)Turn it counter clockwise so that the raised I is above the 0, and lift/remove the smooth top portion of the base. Don't be alarmed, the slider will come off as well.
5.)Thoroughly rinse the removed parts with warm water. Dry extremely well with a cloth. Wipe down the base with a toy wipe.
6.)Insert the slider with the 3,2,1 numbers going in first. Put the top of the base with the I right on top of the 0. Turn clockwise so that the II comes back to rest above the 0.
7.)Store in a safe, dry place and enjoy!
Since I have more than one Jopen Vanity vibe and they both fit into one of the huge storage bags, I use the other one to store my precious Eroscillator, attachments, and cord. The overall cleaning process is tedious, but it is worth the extra effort. As for lube, I am only comfortable suggesting a good water based lubricant just because I am not exactly sure what the attachments are made of.
    • Easy to store
    • Little difficult to clean

Packaging

The Eroscillator comes in a feminine rose colored cardboard box. The front displays the name of the toy, and the side shows pictures of the attachments. The back has a long list of information about the toy. Once the box is opened, the only part of the toy visible is the base. Next to the base is a compartment with pictures of the attachments and cord. After removing the base out of the box, the compartment containing the rest of the toy can be opened. Not only will you find the cord and different head in this separate compartment, you will find the user's manual and safety rules. The base, attachments, and cord comes in their own separate plastic bag.
The user's manual contains information on all the different attachments, how to use the toy, how to clean it after use, and a special note from Dr. Ruth explaining how to get the most out of your Eroscillator experience. The user's manual says that the toy comes with a full 1 year warranty. For once, the manual was a delight to read, and I really enjoyed it. There isn't a pouch for future storage, but it easily is placed into a large Ziploc bag or drawer.

    • Pretty discreet
    • Very informative
    • Would make a nice gift

Personal comments

I want to make sure everyone is using this safely and properly, so here are a few things you should and shouldn't do while playing with the Eroscillator. Keep in mind that these are not made up rules. These come directly from the user's manual.
-Always unplug this appliance immediately after using.
-Keep the cord away from heated surface
-Use this appliance only for its attended use as described in the manual.
-Do not use while bathing
-Do not place or store this appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
-Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid
-Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
-Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
-Never use while sleeping or drowsy. *Side note: I thought this one was kind of weird*

Experience

My first solo session with the Eroscillator was definitely not memorable. Okay, I can be honest. It sucked. The UPS guy handed it over, I ripped it out of the box, plugged it in, and went to work. I was in a hurry because I knew my hubby was going to get off work soon, and I wanted to use this as a solo toy first before letting him use it on me. I squirted on some Pink Water and set it on high. I had the intense Grapes & Cockscomb on it at the time, and after thirty minutes I felt nothing. My breathing was even normal. Right as I was feeling something peculiar, my hubby calls letting me know he is on his way home. Frustrated, I put the toy aside and decided to use the moment to take some pictures for my review instead. I was baffled that this thing didn't make me cum in record time, but I soon recognized my error.
After the man and puppy went to bed, I stole into the living room with only one thing in mind: having an orgasm. I was determined to make this expensive toy be useful to me. I set the mood with a random porno flick, and I undressed myself. While the porno was playing softly in the background, I read the little user's manual. That was when it hit me. I cannot rush with the Eroscillator. It is important that I take as much time exploring my body again because it is unlike any toy than I or my body have ever used. After reading up on the toy, I decided that maybe the Grapes & Cockscomb attachment was too much for the first time around so I went with the Golden Spoon because of its simplicity. I told myself before adventuring again that I can't get frustrated if I don't orgasm in less than 30 seconds or at all. Whatever happens will bring me one step closer...
Just for the record, I have a clit that is neither made of steel or is extremely sensitive. It depends on the day, and on that particular day my clit was being a snobby you know what. With extremely powerful vibrators, I can up once every 30 minutes or so (The exception being the Form 2. I can cum up to 3 times in 30 minutes with that thing.), but also keep in mind that this is just how my body works. Back to my story...
After 20 minutes, a huge deep orgasm hit me from out of nowhere. I am talking some seriously intense quaking and throbbing of my entire vagina for at least 30 minutes after the orgasm had faded away. I had to wait that thirty minutes before I could stand up again. In fact, during that 30 minute waiting period, I decided to give the Grapes & Cockscomb attachment another go. On high, I surprisingly came yet again after another 20 minutes. It was just as intense as the first orgasm too! I love that deep satisfaction, but that doesn't mean that the Eroscillator has replaced all of my vibrators. It definitely isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and I would feel lost without it by my bedside. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Great review and love ALL the pics. Just got mine including the soft finger tip I ordered at the same time. Had gone through all 4 tips ending with the spoon before figuring out little or no pressure is needed unlike your everyday vibe. This thing, the fabulous Eroscolator 2 works opposite. The more pressure I used the less "vibrations" in relative terms, the less pressure I used with the attachment the more "vibrations" or rather oscillations. I had a triple O with that spoon and now can't wait for hubby to use it on me! Keep up with the great detail, information and pics on your reviews. I can tell you it really makes the difference on this product because of its varying nature.
