Being the chief executive officer of a big corporation is a big responsibility, of course, and people get really, really really well compensated for being in charge of far-flung business empires.
Some CEOs have better perquisites than others, though. Okay, so there are the private jets, and personal chefs, and vacation homes and such. But we imagine, anyway, that being the CEO of a company that has a lot to do with sex is more fun than being the CEO of a company that makes widgets for doohickies. You know? We could be wrong, but …
Well, anyway, Bloomberg Businessweek this week has helpfully provided us with a list of the top CEOs of Sex, which is a longer list (22 people) than we would have thought that they could put together. Drumroll, please ...
No. 1 is Larry Flynt. You were expecting Hugh Hefner, maybe? He’s not the CEO of Playboy, so he can’t make this list. The actual CEO of Playboy, a guy named Scott Flanders, is No. 5. Ranked ahead of him (besides Flynt) are:
-Thomas Lynch (Frederick's of Hollywood)
-Joe Francis (Mantra Films, “Girls Gone Wild,” etc.)
-Marc Bell (Adult FriendFinder Networks and Penthouse magazine)
Bloomberg Businessweek’s cover story, though, was on Ashleymadison.com and CEO Noel Biderman: Cheating, Incorporated: At Ashley Madison's website for “dating,” the infidelity economy is alive, well, and profitable.
And regardless of what you think of “cheating” or “infidelity” or whatever you want to call it … Biderman does sound like he’s having fun.
