Kansas lawmakers in the House Federal and State Affairs Committee are trying to push through House Bill 2107, which would put heavy limitations on many adult industry establishments including, but not limited to, heterosexual topless clubs, adult bookstores and boutiques, and adult theaters.

Rep. Amanda Grosserode, R-Lenexa, moved that all that be stricken from the law, but that they keep the part about adult organizations staying at least 1,000 feet from “sensitive areas” to help small towns keep strip clubs out. But her motion wasn't supported by the rest of the committee.
