Hefner Tweets His Christmas Engagement

Bells will be ringing glad news for world renowned playboy Hugh Hefner. Wedding bells, that is.

Christmas night, the 84-year-old founder of Playboy magazine tweeted a bit during his celebration with family and friends at the Playboy Mansion, and then tweeted that he'd given a ring to December 2009's Playmate of the Month Crystal Harris. In his last tweet for the evening, after multiple requests for clarification, Hef tweeted, further, that it was, indeed, an engagement ring.

"When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory," Hef typed. And when a follower asked what he wanted for Christmas, an ecstatic Hef responded, "I got what I was hoping for for Christmas—Crystal's love."

This will be the third marriage for Hefner, who has a B.A. in psychology, and took sociology and women and gender studies at Northwestern. No wonder he's so good with the ladies, eh?
