A poster campaign distributed by the ABC comedy show Modern Family states that supporting actress Sofia Vergara may streak down Sunset Boulevard if her show wins the Outstanding Comedy award at the Emmys in August. The poster does have a small disclaimer: “Cast member could change without notice.” Maybe at the last minute, they plan to replace the voluptuous Vergara with the show’s star Ed O’Neil, of Married, with Children fame?
The publicity stunt comes after lingerie model Larissa Riquelme promised to treat fans to a nude run if Paraguay won the 2010 World Cup. Though Spain took the Cup, Riquelme still plans her naked jaunt, because, as she said, “They tried as hard as possible and gave it their all on the field.” No word on whether or not bearded Argentina coach Diego Maradona will uphold his naked running pledge despite the loss. (Iglesias reports his promised naked water-skiing spectacle will take place after some strategic south-of-the-border manscaping.)
And, naked just for the sake of being naked, Janice Dickinson recently posed nude, looking stunning at age 55. The self-proclaimed fan of cosmetic surgery is currently filming episodes of Celebrity Rehab, saying that her body is a “compulsive obsession.” As far as going under the knife, she says, “There’s no such thing as too much. Whatever it takes to make an individual feel better, I’m all for it.” What is she in rehab for, again?
