When you hear “National Porn Sunday” and learn it's held on Super Bowl Sunday, you're probably not surprised to hear it's at the XXXChurch. You might, however, be shocked to learn that it's not held by a group of porn junkies... Wait. Yes it is, just not in the fun way.
Pastor Craig Gross, a 35-year-old ordained minister in Nevada and a good friend of Ron Jeremy, calls pornography the “elephant in the pew.” He says it's a roadblock in everyone's life, and that no one should watch it.
NFL players John Kitna (Cowboys), Ryan Pickett (Packers), Josh McCown (Panthers), and Matt Hasselbeck (Seahawks) are all on board, and currently use a program called X3Watch, developed by the good pastor himself, to keep themselves honest.
Hasselbeck told CNN that he's never had a porn addiction, but he signed up anyway. “If I go to a site that’s questionable, a teammate gets an email and my wife gets an email. I thought about adding my mom too but decided against that.”
