I think that I have found my Soul Mate! UMA-ZING!
The Je Joue Uma is perfection personified, and is my soul mate of a sex toy. It is waterproof, seamless, powerful, and a ridiculously beautiful. It fits my anatomy perfectly, in a way that no other sex toy has done before. It is also rechargeable, and has a sensually luxurious silicone texture. Its only flaw is that the buttons are somewhat hard to push, but otherwise, it is the most wonderful toy that I currently own. I recommend it so highly!Published: January 13, 2012
Pros:
Ergonomic, powerful vibrations, great vibration patterns, unique controls, luxurious silicone
Cons:
Buttons are hard to push
Follow-up commentary

Nothing in this world would make me hate my Uma. I am very very careful with it and I take good care of it, but overall it really is a wonderful toy.
Now, what did freak me out the other day though is that during the charging, it did not light up. It ran out of batteries completely, so it took a while before it lit up and started charging. If this happens, don't freak out like I did! Allow a few seconds for the Uma to charge and eventually, it will light up and charge normally.
Other than that, I love this thing!
The buttons started becoming softer and easier to press too (but not the middle pattern button. That one is still a pain to use.)

How long does it last?
-
Quote: How long does it last?If you're asking about the lifespan of the vibrator, as in, how many years, it's a high quality vibrator and should last for many years, as long as it's well cared for, not overcharged, and depending on how much you use it. If you're asking about how long it will last on a charge, you should read reviews. There should be lots of info in them.

Unsteady vibrations
-
I've been reading through the Uma reviews and this is the only reviewer I've noticed talking about a "temperamental motor" and unsteady vibrations that seem to vary not only when pressure is applied but "when they feel like it". Does this user have a defective model or is this something common to the Uma that has just not been noted in other reviews somehow? Has anyone else noted unsteady vibrations in their Uma?

Uma vs Gigi

Curious about this... if you have both the Gigi and the Uma, can you give a little comparison? I am curious about the almost hook like shape on the Gigi in comparison to the more traditional g-spot head.
Merci buttocks!

I haven't found any toy that allows me to climax vaginally yet, but I use UMA for external stimulation and am able to climax that way.

Uma -vs- Mona
-
Both are similar design, girth and insert-able length. The uma's buttons have been discussed already. So the edge on the control panel goes to Mona. The uma is waterproof though. Who has both and can review them, side by side. I imagine the charge and use time is similar. I suppose it comes down to vibration patterns & strength. What about warranty differences? These toys are so close in every respect.

But I'd love to see them side by side to get more of an idea!!!

I like the Mona better. Better controls. The intensity is probably the same

Uma buttons
-
hi all! i'm curous about people's thoughts on the button ... i tried them out in a store and my girlfriend and i agreed they seemed a little tough to push. would imagine this is even more of a problem in the heat of things! some of the reviews confirmed my fears on this, but i really love the feel, rumble, and patterns of the uma so i'd love to hear whether or not people think its worth the control issues, and/or if there is a comparable product in anyone's opinion. i should add that i dont find the hook of the g-ki particularly appealing, but perhaps the settings are comparable?
-
From what I've heard, the G-Ki is a bit weaker.
Just my opinion, but I wouldn't let the buttons be a deciding factor or issue. They're not an issue to me, and they do "break in" with use. The pattern button is kind of a pain, but I admit, I never use it.
I'm not sure what would be comparable. LELO's Liv is a similar shape, but I don't think the vibrations are the same and it's a bit weaker from what I've heard. The Vanity line is supposed to be deep and rumbly, but it's very different in form in and control (and no patterns). Form 6 has its own issues. -

What troubles you about the pattern button? I'm particularly intrigued by the patterns so it would matter to me how user friendly they are.
The Form 6 certainly doesn't have the same wonderful smooth feel as the Uma, but what other thoughts do you have on its comparability to the Uma?

Je Joue releases the Uma!

Opinions on the shape? Form factor? Excited to get one?

Je Joue rocks. I'm getting one of these. Just debating if I'm ordering tomorrow or when the Ran comes back in stock.

I think the shape looks great! Not sure whether or not I want this or the G-Ki. Going to wait for reviews.

Thank you for viewing Uma – g-spot vibrator review page!

Nice review
Thanks for the great review. I've been debating between this and Mimi for a while, but Im thinking I will have to start with the Uma - it just sounds like a great toy.
Thanks for the review.
Nice review! I think I might be able to overlook the bad things people are saying about the buttons and purchase the Uma, it sounds wonderful otherwise!!
