Uma, Just Amazing

The Uma from Je Joue is a G-spot vibe, but you can use it anally if you always have a firm grip on it. A partner would definitely help if you wanted to use it that way. I find it is a bit too large and cumbersome to use on the clitoris, but you could also use it that way. This is completely waterproof so if you want to have a bit of extra fun in the shower, this is the perfect toy.

The body of the Uma is all silicone, but the area around the buttons is plastic, and the buttons themselves are metal. The silicone feels very soft and supple, and is completely smooth. It tends to not pick up a lot of dust and hair which is nice.

The Uma is completely firm, so you can get more pressure on the G-spot if that’s what you like. There are no seams from what I can tell, and the silicone coat has very little drag, but a dab of water based lubricant will certainly help with insertion.

I love the shape of the Uma. The shaft is curved perfectly upwards to stimulate the G-spot. The head is nice and pronounced, and the shaft narrows towards the middle so you don’t feel stretched out while it’s inserted. The head is 4 ½” in circumference, and narrows down to 3 1/4”. The curvy design of the Uma makes it difficult to thrust with, but I prefer short thrusts anyway.

The Uma has three buttons to operate it: “+”, “~”, and “-”. Hold down the “+” button to turn it on, and keep pressing it to increase the vibrations. The “~” button will bring you into pattern mode, and once in pattern mode, you need to cycle through the patterns to get back to steady vibrations because the “+” increases the strength, and the “-“ decreases the strength. Holding down the “-“ button for a few seconds will turn the toy off in any mode. The buttons are quite hard to press, but this means you won’t need to worry about the toy accidentally turning on at an inconvenient time since it doesn’t lock.

The Uma is super quiet which was surprising to me because of the strength this toy has. It is very unlikely someone in the next room will hear it. The Uma boasts five levels of vibration and six patterns with various pulsation and escalation settings.

Since the Uma is rechargeable, you don’t need to worry about fumbling with batteries or worry about which kind to get. The charger connects magnetically to the buttons on the Uma. It only takes about an hour to charge which will give you about two hours of play time. A little light blinks while charging, and stops once it is fully charged, making it very simple to figure out when it is ready for use.

You can clean this with soap and warm water, or your choice of toy cleaner or wipes. You can sterilize it with a 10 per cent bleech solution, but don’t boil it.

Use only water based lubes as silicone lubes can degrade the nice smooth coating of silicone on the toy.

The packaging for the Uma works well for storing the toy and charger discreetly, and it came with a little booklet with care and charging instructions. There’s no included storage pouch, but you don’t need to worry about the Uma collecting large amounts of lint or dust.
