Uma - luxury g-spot vibrator discontinued by Je Joue - review by unfulfilled

Uma is small, elegant, and discreetly designed to be a perfect companion to solo or couple play. I have used it in both instances, but I find myself enjoying it more with solo use than I do with my husband.

It is designed primarily for vaginal stimulation but can also be used as a clitoral vibrator as well. It can also be used to tease and caress your body during foreplay over all of your erogenous zones that love attention and stimulation. It is not designed for anal insertion and does not have the proper shape and flared base for this.

On the box it states Uma is the perfect first toy for internal, external, or G-spot pleasure whether together or solo. I don't care if this is your first toy or not, but I highly recommend buying this product because I cannot say enough good things about it. I believe it would be great for beginners or advanced users alike because it offers a multitude of variety in the settings and powerful vibrations ensuring something for everyone.

It is made out of a smooth, soft, velvety 100% body-safe silicone. Silicone is one of the safest product materials on the market and is considered a 10 on the safety scale because it isn't porous and won't harbor bacteria. It is also made out of food-grade material, is phthalate free, latex free and hypoallergenic.

It is ideal for those who prefer smooth toys because there is no added texture anywhere. The core of the toy is very hard which means there is no flexability to this at all. There is no seam on the toy which is wonderful because you do not have to worry about it potentially catching on your delicate areas.

Mine did not have any odor even right out of the box and it also does not have any taste.

It comes in three colors to choose from: lavender, fuchsia, and purple. I chose lavender because I love any shade of purple and I have Mimi and G-ki in the darker shade of purple and was wanting something different. It is a soft and feminine purple that is very nice and almost light enough that it has a pink tint to it. The control base is light pink in appearance.

Uma's design is pretty simple. She's curved in the middle for g-spot stimulation. I was not able to hit my g-spot with it, but every woman's anatomy is designed differently so others may be able hit theirs.

The larger end of Uma is similar in shape to an egg and is designed much like Mimi. It is the perfect size to fit comfortably in the palm of my hand and never leaves my hand feeling tired when holding it.

The smaller end is for vaginal insertion, but I frequently use it for clitoral stimulation. I love the wonderful sensations she produces and allow her to work her glorious magic on me to achieve climax. Je Joue knew exactly what they were doing when they designed Uma because this side fits perfectly on the clit as well as give me the ability to use it for internal stimulation if I wish.

I think her size is suitable for beginners and advanced users alike. She is more sophisticated in appearance than your realistic toys so beginners wouldn't be intimidated by having her. Advanced users will appreciate her silky appearance. Although Uma isn't a realistic sex-toy it is obvious what her intended use is so if being discreet is important to you, please hide her when not in use.

It has five vibration levels that increase in intensity and seven pulsating patterns. I've never used the pulsating variations because I've never been a fan of them and usually get off every time just by using the vibration mode. However, the controls are as follows:

1-5: Start off slow in vibration and then steadily increase in vibration with mode 5 being the strongest
6: First pulse pattern on-off-on-off at a moderate pace
7: pulse pattern that goes from low to high
8: slower pulse pattern
9: Faster pulse pattern
10: Fastest pulse pattern
11: pulse pattern with a short pause
12: Feels like a constant vibration mode

The vibrations are concentrated at the smaller end, but can be felt throughout the entire toy and delivers powerful stimulation. I would consider the vibrations to be a mix-breed between rumbly and buzzy. They are deep enough to achieve enjoyment out of it, but still considered buzzy because if you hold it for a long period of time does make your hand tingle. However, it does not cause any ill affects to the parts that are being stimulated so that is great because it won’t leave you sore. You can use the Uma to apply pin-point stimulation to your clitoris or enjoy the vibrations while using it internally.

It has two raised round button controls that I do not like that are similar to Mimi a + and a – that are very difficult to push that I believe can be improved on as well as a third button ~ that Mimi does not have for controlling the functions. The controls are located on the larger end of Uma. To use, initially, hold the + symbol slightly hard for a few seconds to turn it on and again to increase the vibration intensity. To move to the pattern mode, hold the ~ button for a few seconds and cycle through each feature. To return to the previous level or pattern you can click the - button. I find this feature to be a wonderful addition because I'm not having to go all the way through the choices again to find the level I like if I accidentally bypass it. To turn it off hold the – symbol for a few seconds.

The good and bad thing about the Uma is it is rechargeable using magnetic clips on the end to charge. I mention this as a good and bad aspect of the toy because although it does not require batteries, if it is losing its charge it will go through a cycle where it will not hold the intense steady vibrations that you are on. This can be very annoying when you are close to climax and it starts to cycle up and then down over and over again with the speed and you're not able to finish. That being said, it will hold its charge for about 1 1/2-2 hours and it takes approximately 2 hours to charge.



You need to charge fully before first use and do not use while charging. To charge, make sure it is aligned properly with the charging dock and Uma's magnetic buttons. Sometimes the adapter doesn't fit on there as snuggly as I like and I think that could be improved on. I don't really consider that a negative about it, but I have to make sure that it is setting on a hard surface instead of dangling from the socket. It will flash red when charging and will turn a solid red when fully charged. The cute addition to this rechargeable toy is they use a heart instead of a standard circle as their way to show it is charging.

If you have the Mimi, the chargers are interchangeable.

The noise level is basically non-existent at the lowest setting which I know is wonderful for those that have roommates or thin walls. The only time it becomes loud is on the highest setting, but can be easily muffled under covers or with background noise.

It is water resistant and safe in the bath or shower, but do not submerge for prolonged periods of time. Also, in the user manual it mentions not to use in extreme water temperatures. I have not used mine in the bath because I did use the Mimi this way and soon after Mimi started acting up so I didn't want to chance the same thing happening to Uma. I'm not saying for positive the water caused Mimi to act up, but I want to safeguard Uma just in case.

I have found when used for internal stimulation if you squeeze your pc muscles it will lessen the intensity of the Uma. You can even hear the difference in the motor from when you squeeze and release. I don't personally like that aspect of it, but it does give me an indication that I'm performing my kegel exercises.

It can be stored anywhere because of its small size though not touching other silicone toys due to possible break down of the silicone. I wish Je Joue would have included a small storage pouch, but that was not the case. I have mine in my lingerie drawer in a pouch that once contained my sunglasses, and it does not take up much room at all.

It is compatible with water-based lube and you can use warm water and soap to clean it or use your favorite toy cleaner. Do not use with silicone based lubes because silicone can break down other silicone products, and we don't want that happening with such a magnificent toy.

Always unplug before cleaning and make sure it is completely dry before reconnecting the charger and plugging it into an outlet.

The Je Joue Uma is presented as a box inside of a box. The original box matches the color of the product and shows a picture of the Uma and has information regarding it around the outside of the box. Inside this box is a luxurious and elegant black gift box that gives the impression that this is indeed going to be one amazing toy. The packaging is some of the best I have encountered and would gladly use the second box as a gift box. It could also be used to store a few smaller toys, condoms, wipes, etc. in it for easy access and I would not be ashamed to leave it out on my nightstand. The one thing Je Joue did different with Uma that they included with the other Je Joue products I own is this one did not have a ribbon on it to tie the box.





It comes with an owner's manual that comes in other languages besides English and explains the safety features and warnings of the toy.

It comes with a one year warranty from the date of original purchase against any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship. If this happens, Je Joue will replace it free of charge. As with most warranties, dismantling or tampering with Uma automatically invalidates the warranty.

Overall, I consider this to be a high quality toy with superior craftsmanship and would make a great addition to your collection. I bought her because I love my Mimi and had to see how she performed as well. If you love Mimi, I'd say you'd love Uma as well. Uma is slightly more powerful than Mimi and has the ability to use for internal stimulation.

I mentioned this in my G-Ki review, but I thought I would mention it here as well. I know a lot of people wonder how Uma compares with G-Ki so I’m going to try to do a small comparison of them both. G-Ki has the adjustability factor going for it because it is more likely to hit women’s g-spots than Uma because Uma is not adjustable and only has the small curve in the middle. Neither product hit my g-spot, but I do not have a partner that is willing to cooperate with me and help me with finding my g-spot and I have not been able to find it on my own.

As far as vibration level goes, Uma is stronger than G-Ki. I would consider G-Ki a mild 3 vroom and Uma a full 5 Vroom. Overall, it depends on what feature you are wanting more out of the product on what I would suggest to get. Do you need powerful vibrations to help you climax or do you need something with a more pronounced g-spot curve? They are both great products from the same company so I don't think you can go wrong with getting one or both of them.

Personally, I use Uma for external stimulation more than I do for internal stimulation. I have had this since before Christmas and have tried many times to use it internally, but I am not able to climax with it. I do not fault the toy for this because it is a very powerful toy, but I haven't found anything that works for me in this regard. I've tried pairing it with Mimi and the Eroscillator Top Deluxe for external stimulation while the Uma was used for internal stimulation, and still did not have any success. However, if I use it for external stimulation, I am able to climax with it everytime. For a product to allow me to achieve climax in some regard is a good product in my book.

Overall, the Uma is an expensive toy, but I consider it worth every penny and would highly recommend it to anyone that asked me. You're getting a little bit more powerful product than the Mimi with the added benefit of being able to use it for internal stimulation.
