Because the World Needs Another Review on Ella

In case you haven't already heard, Ella is a small dildo expertly designed for vaginal use, particularly stimulation of the g-spot. Either end of the toy can be used for vaginal penetration, but the blunt bulbous end is what's supposed to make your g-spot happiest. Though results may vary by user depending on those pesky differences in anatomy.

The texture is entirely buttery smooth. Truly, when I first got my Ella, I just wanted to stroke it because it was so smooth. Ella didn't have any taste or smell, as should be the case with 100% medical grade silicone.

At no point is Ella's design fully round, and both ends have points at which a smooth curve turns into a sharper angle. The angles are fairly noticeable, which for me is a good thing because I like how they feel. However, some people may find them uncomfortable or distracting.

On the smaller side, Ella's size was perfect for what I was looking for when I got her. When it comes to penetration toys, I tend to favor toys that are on par with the size of maybe two fingers as opposed to something that rivals the size of my partner's penis. I would like to think that everyone could love Ella's petite frame, but some people are simply going to want more from their g-spot toy. If you're a person who's looking for particular length or girth in your toy, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

Inside the black storage box, Ella sits in a plastic shelf that cradles the toy perfectly in place. Lift up the shelf and you will find multiple packets of warranty and brand information, as well as the charger and a silk storage pouch which you can use instead of the black box if you so choose.

So here's where it gets complicated. Ella is right for me in so many ways, it's not even funny. There's just one problem: I don't really care for g-spot play all that much. I know what it feels like, I'm capable of having a g-spot orgasm, I can do it with Ella. I just don't like doing it.

And for that reason Ella has been something of a lackluster toy for me, as her best suited purpose is not my favorite ballgame and I really can't speak that much to that aspect of her use. When I use Ella, it tends to simply be as a penetrative compliment to a vibrator, just something to have in there filling me a little while my clit really gets it.

It's a little frustrating, as I love Ella to death. The look and feel of the toy just plain turn me on. I wish I could use Ella more, but my typical sex play just doesn't require its use all that often.
