Ella is a double-ended g-spot dildo, best used by females. The straight end is good for warming up, while the g-spot end is good for the g-spot! The g-spot end can be difficult to learn to use, and initial insertion can also be a little uncomfortable. Just take your time to insert, then find a good thrusting movement/pattern that fits your body. You could also just rub the curved side against the g-spot with constant pressure. Since she is just a silicone dildo you can use her in the water, the bedroom, in room-mate situations, and anywhere else you can imagine.

The g-spot end is pretty dramatic, almost like a hook. Make sure your partner is careful not to be too rough, as it will really hurt to hook the pubic bone. Even using it yourself requires you to be careful until you learn the toy and the best way to use it for yourself. The straight end is perfect to give over-eager partners, so they have a hand in helping you warm up. Since there isn't a flared base it shouldn't be used anally. I can't imagine the hook style of the g-spot end being comfortable anally anyway!

Ella is made of the most beautiful silicone I have ever felt. I mean, seriously, I can't imagine a more luxurious feeling dildo. I personally prefer the smooth texture for g-spot stimulation. Ella is firm but still some-what flexible, but the slight flexibility doesn't have any effect in use. Being double-ended makes her very versatile. She's great for beginners even if they aren't ready to start playing with their g-spot. The double ended side feels amazing on it's own, and when the beginner is ready to explore some more they don't have to buy a separate toy!

Like I said earlier, be careful with the g-spot end as it can act as a hook on your pubic bone. Take your time to get to know her before you get all crazy. When I did I took my time, and let her find my g-spot.

Ella is a good size for beginners and advanced users. The straight side would be best to use when you're new to toys because it's pretty simple and self explanatory to insert. I have nothing negative to say about Ella. There is a slight learning curve when first using the g-spot end but I expected that. After the first use of taking your time and getting her acquainted with your body, she is very simple to use. She did exactly what she was supposed to do, and that is provide pleasure. I couldn't be happier, especially since she made me squirt.

The g-spot end is a pretty dramatic hook, so I can see it possibly not working for everyone's anatomy. Just take a look at all the great reviews to see why it's worth it to give her a chance. If the g-spot end happens to not work for you then you still have the straight side. She's very comfortable to use and I appreciate that she's not really heavy. Being made of silicone Ella is really easy to clean. I use warm water and soap, then dry with a clean towel. You can also boil her for 3 minutes or stick Ella on the top rack of your dishwasher! Since Lelo has such beautiful packaging, I have to admit I am still storing Ella in the full box. She comes with a satin storage pouch, to save space and keep her from rubbing elbows with your other silicone dildos. I intend to use that one day, but only when I finally get a good storage system going.

Silicone toys aren't compatible with silicone lubes. To preserve the wonderfully silky and luxurious feel please just stick with water based.

The packaging of Lelo toys is truly beautiful. The outer white box isn't discreet, since it has a picture of Ella on one side. Still since the packaging is so perfect you can put her into a gift bag. I purchased the white Ella, so the outer box of mine was white.

I normally wouldn't be quite so detailed about the packaging but we all know just how much effort Lelo puts into their packaging. I thought it would be a shame not to show it off.
