Pretty, Disappointing Ella

The Ella is a small, skinny dildo, and both sides of it can be inserted into your vagina. It is ideal for masturbation/solo play but can be fun to use with others. I would not use this toy anally, because it does not have a flared tip at the end to prevent it from being sucked up into the ass, potentially causing serious harm.

The Ella is made of silicone, and it is sturdy and inflexible. Additionally, it is not porous, and not odorous. It does not have a taste to it. The Ella is phthalates-free and latex-free. The surface of this dildo is semi-matte, the texture of which does not cause any drag when it is being used. Once it is lubricated, it feels slippery and is difficult to grasp firmly when in use.

I expected to love the shape, however, I was a bit disappointed. I wanted to hold onto the straight tip to use the curved, flattened tip as a G-spot stimulator. The next thing I knew, the straight end was covered in my fluids and could not be held tightly. However, if I held the curved, flattened end, the straight side slid in smoothly and I had no trouble gripping it while holding it in this position.

I would prefer this toy to be slightly longer, perhaps slightly wider, and to have handle-like, G-spot stimulators on both ends. The Ella is 7 inches in total length, 5 inches in insertable length, and 1.25 inches at its longest width. While this size did not work for me personally, that does not mean that this size and shape of a dildo will not work well for you. Lelo dildos are quality products, and each product is sure to work differently for everyone.

For me, the toy is a bit too small to utilize its design fully. Had it been longer, I could have more easily used the toy on my G-spot more successfully. Using it the other direction is less fulfilling and I would prefer the long skinny shaft to be a bit wider.

The Ella should be cleaned with warm water and soap or a 10% bleach solution; it is also boilable and dishwasher safe. Ella's material is silicone, meaning it can be used with non-silicone-based lubricants. The Ella comes with a satin bag, a display shelf and a box that functions as a storage box or a gift box. When storing this dildo, do not have it touch other toys because, when the different materials come into contact, they can interact by distorting or melting one another. This is more likely when one company's products come into contact with a different company's products.

I used the Ella with the We-Vibe II, and that was an awesome combination with excellent results. Since my vagina felt fuller with this combo, it was easier to orgasm, even when inserting the shaft of the Ella instead of the curved tip. The Ella was also an enjoyable toy to use when simultaneously using a butt plug because, when the plug is curved towards the vagina, the vaginal opening becomes a tighter, limited space. Thus when the Ella is used in conjunction with another product, I experienced some satisfaction with using this dildo. By itself, its size and shape did not completely meet my needs and expectations.
