Get a Life! No, really, get one!

After my initial success with Bloom, I decided to give Life a shot. Life is a clitoral vibrator by Leaf. It is also pretty iconic series Eden since this toy is known for its baby leaf green color and botanical style. Life is a rechargeable vibe (making it green in both ways), and waterproof, making her a great choice when looking for some fun bath time. This also makes her a great choice for those who live with others or are in a dorm situation. She is also discreet outside the bath, which is always a plus.

Life can work for all levels of sex toy adventurer. Beginners should feel welcomed by her presentation and more advanced users will appreciate the power and design she has to offer. She is a bit on the pricer side though. If money is a major factor when looking for your dream clitoral vibe, I recommend some other vibes that I mention in the Experience section. However, I still think Life is worth it. Life can be used on any erogenous zone.

Life is not designed nor intended for anal play. Technically, you could stimulate the opening of the anus if you want to, but make sure to sterilize your toy after such uses.

Life is made of 100% silicone. Silicone is non porous, so bacteria cannot thrive inside the toy. It is also made of food grade materials and is hypoallergenic. It ranks a 10 out of 10 on the Eden Safety Scale. Overall, the silicone is smooth but has a bit of drag. You can add some water based lubricant to make an effortless glide. There is some texture, but this comes more from the seam, button, and Leaf logo. The seam cannot be felt, but it just takes a bit away from the toy. The seam bisects the button and just could be cleaned up a bit. But I'm also very picky. Life is designed like other Leaf products in this way, such as Bloom.



The lack of texture makes Life beginner friendly. Life is also overall firm and unyielding. If you put pressure on her you can feel the squish of her silicone coating, but you can feel a hard core underneath. Life does have one flexible part and that is the smaller, more pointed tip. You can bend that tip a bit, but it does hold itself. It allows for directed, but not hard, clitoral stimulation. Life has no overt odor or taste.

Life is small, but substantial enough to hold comfortably in your hands. She is a bit longer than MiMi, but she is overall thinner. Life also tapers into two points. The end farthest from the button is more pointed, which can allow for more pinpoint stimulation. You can play around with Life on all her sides to see what kind of stimulation works for you.

Life comes in at 4.5 inches long. At her widest she is also 4.5 inches in circumference. However, Life is not really designed for penetration; external stimulation is her specialty. If you wanted, though, you could insert a little bit of her tip to tease the entrance of the vagina.



Life is very beginner friendly and not intimidating. In fact, her bright, pleasing color might attract children if you keep it out in open view. Life is also a cinch to travel with. The toy has a locking feature that will prevent it from turning on during travel. To lock Life, press her button 3 times. To unlock, simply repeat. When placed in her pouch, life can fit in a purse or bag with no problems. In terms of noise, Life is fairly discreet coming in at 2 Bees. That's it! There's just one button above the leaf logo. Press the button to turn it on. Life will be on her lowest intensity. Hold the button to increase the intensity. It will gradually increase until you either let go of the button or max out the power. Life is pretty powerful. On her lowest setting she is 1 Vroom. On her highest setting she is 4 Vrooms. These rumbly vibrations should be enough to work for the majority of ladies. To turn off Life, just press her button again. Simple as pie.

Life is completely waterproof. Her charging port is resealable. She can safely be submerged. Always make sure she is completely dry before charging her. I would also wait a couple of minutes before unplugging her and plunging her in water, but I'm paranoid. To charge, just put the plug in her resealable port. She takes a couple of hours to charge fully the first time around.

Care for Life is quite simple. You can use soap and water, wet wipes, or toy cleaner. Wipe dry with a non-lint producing cloth and store her in her canvas pouch. Life does collect some lint if she's kept out of her pouch. It is not a ridiculous amount, but you can see some light fuzz. If anything, you can wipe the toy down before use. Only use water based lubricant on Life to preserve her silicone coat (it's also explicitly stated on the bag Life comes wrapped in).

Life comes in the same style of packaging as as other Leaf products. It comes in a brown, recyclable box that opens with a magnetic door on the side. Open that to reveal the instruction booklet. Below the booklet is the charger, the canvas pouch and the toy. I do love the pouch. It is a sturdy, thick canvas material that is discreet. The box is overall discreet so long as no one decides to get close and read it. The bag is more discreet. Another cool thing is that you can use the box to store smaller sex toys or cock rings (helps organize storage!).

The instructions are informative and include care information as well as do's and don'ts. Life would make a nice gift for many, especially those who strive to be eco-friendly.

On trying ALL the Clitoral Vibes!

So I've amassed a bit of a clitoral vibe collection, so I thought I should lay them all out and give you a brief summary on how I rank them and why. I have considered all clitoral vibes I own that are: of good material, waterproof, and rechargeable. I also don't include wand like toys or toys with handles because, while they can stimulate the clitoris, they are in a bit of a different class. Out of the toys I have, here is how I rank them:



1. Tango or Salsa
2. MiMi or Life
3. We Vibe Touch
4. Bliss or Bcurious
5. Muse

Yes, I put a toy before MiMi. But put down your pitchforks. It depends on your preferences to see if MiMi or Tango/Salsa is better. Prefer silicone? MiMi. I think Salsa and Tango are a bit stronger and more rumbly than MiMi. Salsa and Tango can be used in sleeves. Tango and Salsa are a bit less expensive than MiMi. If you want more pinpoint stimulation, go with Salsa or Tango. Want something more comfy for your fingers? MiMi. These factors will determine it for you.

After or with MiMi is Life. Life is pricer and the silicone collects a bit more lint. It depends on how much you want to spend and which shape you prefer. Also, MiMi has patterns and Life does not. MiMi also has a magnetic charging port and life has a resealable one. I feel MiMi's is more secure. The We-Vibe touch is lovely, but the silicone does collect a bit of dust. The touch still has the same features as the Tango and Salsa, but the touch has a bit more to hold on to.

After the touch? Ignore those. Bliss, Muse, and Bcurious are okay in their rights, but the previous toys are better. Bliss has a weird (not friendly) user interface. These three all have finicky charging ports. The Muse is the weakest of the bunch despite the novel bunny look. Muse and Bliss both have a funky odor and care smelling packaging. Go at the Touch or left of it in the picture. Don't go right of it.
