The Life clitoral stimulator is a compact, rechargeable toy, that is designed for clitoral stimulation. The Life is made by the Leaf (Swan) company. Swan is another name for Jopen, in other areas. The leaf line specializes in toys that are 'green', and are also great for the environment. The Life has the Power Bullet inside. The Power bullet is a trademarked bullet that the Leaf company uses. It's designed to have deeper vibrations.

First off, I never thought that I would find a clitoral vibrator to wow me. Well, this one did! I'm excited about this little treasure! It fits into the palm of my hand perfectly, and it's powerful. The Life certainly gives the Mimi and Salsa, a run for their money.

The controls on the Life are super easy to operate. The Life has one button, that controls everything. I especially like this idea!


The Life is great because it can be used for both genders, and any age group. The toy is so easy to operate, and it's perfect for beginners! Of course, advanced users may love the Life as well. I consider myself to be an advanced user, and I think the Life has skyrocketed to my top clitoral vibrator. It's waterproof, silicone, powerful, and small enough to fit in my hand during intercourse. Those four things alone, are things that I consider when buying a vibrator. Most toys can't offer all those options. They end up lacking in one or more departments. Not the Life, it has it all, and then some.

The life is perfect for solo sessions, partner play, or for use during intercourse. It shines in all those situations.
I've used it alone, with only the Life in hand. It was excellent. It provided a nice, quick orgasm. I've used it with an internal G-spot toy. It was powerful! The Life got me off faster than the Mimi. In terms of power, they are almost identical. The only thing that works better for me, is that the Life has a point that can be suited for any area. The strongest vibrations are near the tip. I really do like the tip on the Life, as opposed to the broader area on the Mimi. I can't say for sure right now, but I may have found a new favorite. The Life gives better pinpoint stimulation, than any other clitoral vibe that I own.

The Life isn't made for internal stimulation, as it's not long enough to reach my G-spot. It could work for the opening to the vagina, but it's best to be used externally.

I wouldn't suggest for anal play, because there is no flared base on this vibrator. This toy isn't designed for anal play.

I was able to try the Life on my back, for a massage, and it provided a little vibration, and could work for a massage if the vibrations are felt in the area that needs massaging. It worked great to massage my inner thighs.

The Life is very travel friendly. The compact size makes it one of the most perfect toys for travel.
Another use that I haven't tried, is to wear the Life in the panties. I'm looking forward to trying this out!

Silicone is very smooth, and it's non porous. It's not going to hold onto odors, bodily fluids, or most chemicals.

The Life is made from a food-grade silicone. It's hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. The toy arrived with no smell. That's one thing that I love about silicone. There are no lingering odors of chemicals on most of my silicone products.

The texture of the Life is very smooth, and soft. It has a buttery feeling. On the downside to all this smoothness; it does collect, lint, hair, dust, and any other small particles of things floating around in our environment.

There is a seam located in the center of the Life. It travels all the way around the toy. The seam is hard to notice, by the eye, except if you look closely. You can feel it slightly with a finger. I can't feel it on my clitoris, or body parts. The seam isn't scratchy.




There are a few areas on the toy that are raised. The first is the raised button on the upper side of the toy. The raised area for the button is almost 3/8" in diameter.
On the bottom side of the Life, there is an embossed writing area. One area is the Power Bullet branding. The markings of, DC 5V are also raised. There are also some recycling options that are raised. Also on the bottom of the toy, is the charging port. It's a circle that has a significant ridge. This circle is the highest embossing on the toy. This helps the plug insert deeply enough into the toy to reach the outlet, in order to charge the toy. This area seals nicely when in water, so it's a little hard to get the plug through the silicone. You have to apply a good amount of pressure to get it all the way inside. The plug connector is pretty long. This helps get a good fit inside the toy, and allows for a better connection to be made.









The Life is: 4 1/4" long.

The circumference of the middle of the toy is: 4 3/8".

The circumference of the smaller end is: 2 1/2".

The main part of Life does not flex. It's not a fully flexible toy. It's firm, and rigid, and has a smooth surface. The smaller tip is flexible, right at the tip. This allows for pressure to be applied, without feeling like the point is stabbing my clitoris, or nipples. The silicone on the toy doesn't get tacky, or sticky. It can get very slippery and hard to hold, if water or lubricant is on the toy.

I did lick the toy after I thoroughly cleaned it. There was no taste present. The material can be warmed up with warm water to give a warm feeling on the clitoris or nipples. Just don't use very hot water, because the internal components can be possibly damaged. Cold water can be used as well for a colder sensation. I personally liked dipping the tip of the toy into a glass of warm water for a few minutes, to warm it up.

There is a little drag to the toy when there are no lubricants present. When there are lubricants on the toy, I feel no drag.

The shape of the Life is a leaf shape. It is also a pretty green color. This is the only color on the Life. I love the simplistic design of the leaf. It's curved and easy to hold in the palm. It contours nicely to my labia, and pubic mound. One of the ends is wider than the other. One end is narrow and has a pinpoint tip. The end that is wider has a broader area of vibrations. The wider area reminds me of the Mimi. Both ends, and each side can be used to feel vibrations, but the narrow tip is the strongest.

The curved areas allow it to fit with most body shapes. This works really well for cupping the clitoral area. Both ends hug my lips perfectly. The size is great for me. I have smaller hands, and the Life is exactly a perfect fit for me. I think it would work for hands of any size.

The size and shape can fit most women. Men, on the other hand, will be using it for other areas of the body, so the fit will vary from male to male.

The main control of the Life, is just one button. The one little button does it all. The button is user friendly, and it as simple as they come.

The Life is also rechargeable. Yes, it's convenient, as well as easy to use.

To charge the Life, use the power adapter that is included with the set. The Life is powered by a lithium polymer battery. This is the battery that is used for all Leaf products.


All Leaf products arrive from the factory in 'locked' mode. To unlock the Life, quickly press the button on top, 3 times. To lock again, press 3 times when the Life is turned off. On the first press, the product will turn on; quickly press two more times to activate the locking mechanism. Always use this when you travel with the Life.

To start the charging process, find the back of the toy, where the raised circle is located. Take the adapter plug and stick it inside the circle on the back of the Life. It might feel like it doesn't belong there, at first; just because it has such a tight fit. Don't panic, it's made to feel this way. This tight fit is what keeps the water out of the toy. It's perfectly normal. Push the plug all the way into the toy, and then plug into the wall.
Now, a red LED light should light up steady. This indicates that it's in charging mode. The user manual states to allow the battery to charge for 3 hours when you give it the first charge. I only needed to charge the Life for close to 2 hours when I first charged it. A full charge should last about 1 hour and 30 minutes on the highest setting, and 2 hours and 40 minutes on the lowest setting. These times will vary on how charged the toy was, before this use. To charge after the initial charging, this usually takes close to 2 hours. It's supposed to have 2 hours and 40 minutes of use, on a full charge, but I'm sure that this time will vary.
Do not ever charge the toy near water. You can get shocked, or the toy could be ruined if dropped into the water with the cord attached.

When the toy is fully charged and ready to go, push the raised button on the top one time, or hold it down. Pressing the button will take you into the lowest setting, and it will immediately omit a green light. If you continue to hold it down, it will cycle through to the next settings.

If you press and hold the button for a few seconds, it will start to get higher in vibration speed. When you reach the speed that you like, you just simply let up, off the button. During this time that you are cycling through the speeds, the green light will be blinking. When you get to the highest setting, the light will be solid green. This notifies you that it's at the highest setting available. To turn off the toy at any speed, simply press the button once, and it will immediately go off.
To turn it back on, simply press the button once, and go through the settings.

You can't go back down to lower settings, and the Life doesn't have a memory to remember the last setting used. If you like simplistic designs, this shouldn't be a problem.

On the lowest setting, the Life can't be heard through a heavy blanket. If you have it on the highest setting, it can be faintly heard through a very thin door. It can't be heard with a television on, or with water running. This toy does have a powerful bullet inside. I can understand why they call it the Power Bullet. The Life has vibrations in every area of the toy from this strong bullet.
The majority of the stronger vibrations are located in the end with the smaller tip, although, they can be felt throughout the entire toy.

My only issue with the toy is that when I apply a bit of pressure, some of the vibrations do drop out, a little bit. I've also felt a little numbness from the toy when it was used for longer than 15 minutes. I've never had it get hot. I don't think that I used it long enough for it to get hot.

The Life is completely waterproof. I've had it in the tub with me and I also put it in my sink, for photos. It still works like a charm, even after the amount of times that it was submerged, for testing purposes. The vibrations don't seem to change while it's in the water. I tend to like it better on dry land, if you know what I mean. I can get a better grip on it.

The Life has held up for all of my play times. I haven't had it die on me, in the middle of a session. I'm thankful for that.

There are 5 vibration levels on the Life.

They range from low, low-medium, medium-high, high, and super high.






The Life has rumbly vibrations for the most part, but when it's on the highest setting, they can sometimes get to be a bit numbing. I like to keep it on the medium high setting. This seems to work better.

When a lot of pressure is applied to the Life, it does lose some of its power. Luckily, I don't need to apply a large amount of pressure, so it keeps the strong vibrations for me.

Since the Life is silicone, and it's waterproof, cleanup is a breeze! You can clean with regular soap and water, antibacterial soap and water, or a 10% bleach solution.

You can make a 10% bleach solution at home. You will need to gather 1 part bleach for every 9 parts water. You can start with 1/2 cup bleach and 2 1/4 cups water. Pour the bleach into a bowl or spray bottle, then add the water. Once you've used the bleach solution on the toy, rinse thoroughly. Getting bleach on our sensitive parts is a definite no-go, so rinse well.

Leaf products seem to dry fairly quickly. The Life is no exception. It dries quickly for me, when I am air drying it.
When I dry it with a towel, I use a microfiber towel.

Do not use any solvents on the Life, such as alcohol or benzene. Any solvent can damage the silicone finish. Also, keep silicone lubricants away from the Life. Silicone toys and silicone lubricants don't mix. Using silicone lubes with the Life may very well ruin your toy. Only use Water based with the life, for the best longevity of the toy.

The Life has a seamless design which is supposed to hold up better in keeping out water and bacteria. Since the Life is silicone, the water and cleaning agents will rinse right off the toy, when it's cleaned. Always avoid extreme heat when drying or using the Life.

Some silicone toys can be boiled, however, the Life is not one of them. The life has a powerful bullet inside. The bullet will be damaged if it's introduced to an extreme amount of heat. Do not place in the dishwasher, as the water gets extremely hot.
If you submerge your toy while cleaning, you must allow it to fully dry before recharging. You want to make sure the charging port is completely dry. If it's not dry, it can cause the toy to short out, or kill it completely. This toy is easy to clean, and easy to care for. I clean it before, and after each use.

Inspect your toy before and after each use. If there is any damage to the silicone, or if the toy appears to be broken, do not use. Check your warranty, and see if you can send it in. There is a one year warranty on the Life. Make sure to register it when you first receive it. The 1-year limited warranty information is located in the user manual.

To store the Life, I keep it inside the pouch that came with it. I also keep the charger inside the bag. They both fit inside, with a little room to spare. There is even a little room left over. The little pouch fits nicely in a drawer, or duffle bag. I've also kept the box that it came in. The packaging is so beautiful, that I've hung onto it. I just can't seem to get rid of it.

Don't allow the Life to be stored with lower grade materials. Such toys with those materials can melt onto the silicone and possibly damage both products. It's best to keep it in its own storage pouch that is included with it.

The Life arrived in a gorgeous packaging that is light brown in color. The box was wrapped in a sealed plastic. The box has the recycled, and eco-friendly look to it. The box opens up from the side. The front is a flap that folds around the box. The box closes with a magnetic closure. It holds it together nicely. Once you open the box. The flap will be on the left. The inside of the box is brown.

Inside the box, on the top, there is a heavy paper insert that holds the use manual. Under that, there is the charger, storage pouch, and the Life.

The charger is a basic 5 volt charger. It's black in color, and has the Leaf branding in white, on the top of the charger. The charger is 63 1/2" in length.

The drawstring pouch is a natural canvas material. I can't say if it's organic material. The pouch is 7" X 4 1/4". The pouch is tan and has writing in the lower right corner. There is the word 'leaf- by Swan' in brown, with a green leaf above the word. This appears to be screen printed onto the pouch. The drawstring closes nicely and can be tied up to be secure.

The Life arrived with a user manual that is very informative. The user manual has several instructions in different languages.
The user manual booklet is 3 1/4" X 3 1/4". The package does not have any nudity on it. It looks like an everyday package. This would be perfect to give as a gift. I would be thrilled to receive a gift like this.
It would be nice for weddings, anniversaries, a bridal shower, etc. The box is also perfect for storage. It's sturdy, and won't crumple up after handling. It's a very heavy and firm cardboard. It feels almost as sturdy as thin wood.





The Life is actually wrapped in clear plastic package, and has a warning on it about silicone lubricants.

I'm happy with my purchase of the Life. It worked as well as expected, and it did what it was intended to do! It gave me an intense clitoral orgasm during intercourse, and it also worked just as well for solo sessions. My partner really liked when I used the toy on his shaft and testicles, while I was performing oral on him. I noticed that his orgasm was very profound. He expressed his liking for the Life. I've taken some photos of the Life performing very well in the water. This little toy just keeps going, and going!







I've compared the Mimi and the Life side by side. Mimi has more rumbly vibrations than the Life. I like the pinpoint stimulation more, on the Life. I also like how it fits my body.

I've included comparison photos of the Mimi, Life, Tango, and Salsa below. This allows for a better perspective of the vibrations. If you can tell by the vibration patterns in the water, you will see that the Life omits the rings that are closer together, which signifies some patterns that are more buzzy.

The Salsa and tango have deeper waves that are spaced further apart. These signify a rumbly and deep vibration in the water. These don't stay on top of the surface. These go deeper into the water.

The Mimi has deeper rumbles, but they aren't as deep as the Tango or Salsa. In conclusion, the Tango produced some of the deepest waves, out of all 4. The Tango and Salsa have also never made me numb.

I'm going to experiment a little more for a few weeks, and then I'll give my follow up about which of these small vibrators come out on top.
