Smartballs Teneo uno - vaginal balls discontinued by Fun Factory - review by RainbowBrite

When I heard the mailman ring my doorbell I got immediately excited, I knew my Fun Factory Teneo Uno had made its way home. I have never tried a vaginal exerciser, so I had high hopes for this little guy. Having no experience with vaginal balls & a tipped uterus I decided to purchase the Uno versus the Smartballs.

This little pink ball is used in aiding women to do their kegel exercises and strengthen their inner pussy muscles. The website says that it "captivates lovers of the smaller pleasures in life", that is what I definitely had in mind when I went shopping for an exerciser. I wanted to strengthen my muscles while also enjoying the experience. I try to do my kegels on a normal basis, but it's hard for me to remember, I wanted this little guy to be my reminder.

When I opened the shipping box I was delighted to see the very pretty red & grey packaging. It had instructions and a toy pamphlet in several different languages, as well as a sample of their Toyfluid. I eagerly opened the box in excitement to try the Uno out. I was surprised to feel how heavy it was, I wasn't expecting it to actually feel weighted. It was the size I expected it to be, not too small, not overly large (Insertable length- 1 3/4"/Girth - 4 3/4"at largest). The smooth silicone is just as described on the box, "velvety soft", and the removal loops was just a soft & quite stretchy. When shaken or rolled I could feel the inner ball, and couldn't wait to feel that little bouncy sensation inside.

The Teneo Uno is constructed of silicone, unlike the Original Smartballs, which is made from Elastomed. The silicone allows you to clean the item with either a toy cleaner, dishwaher, or water & anti-bacterial soap; easy as pie! Since this is a silicone product I suggest using a water-based lube, if you need help with insertion, as a silicone lube may make this product tacky & deteriorate over time.

I was a bit nervous since this was my first time trying out an exerciser, so I decided to try out the sample of Toyfluid to help ease insertion. The Toyfluid was very slick and the Uno slid in effortlessly. Once inserted I did not really notice it inside which was quite disappointing. I was hoping that the weight would be noticeable enough that I would remember to tighten & strengthen those muscles.

When I started walking around I did notice the removal loop but, it wasn't bothersome to me, I didn't really notice the vibration of the inner ball immediately. I decided that to really test this ou,t I would run a bit on the treadmill. During my jog I didn't feel like the Uno would slip or fall out, actually I barely noticed it at all. Whenever I slowed down I would feel the inner ball jiggling around in there a little bit, but nothing very noticeable... another slight disappointment.

When sitting with the Teneo Uno inserted I was not uncomfortable though, again, I didn't really notice it much. From time to time I could feel the inner ball moving & that was a nice little surprise... if only it was a bit stronger! Having used it for a few days in a row, I can say that it's not very noticeable, but it does serve as a little reminder for me to squeeze, squeeze, squeeze those muscles. I don't really notice the ball inside, but I can feel the removal loop which reminds me to do my kegels.

I think that this product has high potential for those who may be tighter, or may be a bit more sensitive. I haven't given up hope though, now that I know the size of the ball & the potential it could have, I still plan on purchasing the Fun Factory Smartballs which has 2 connected balls vs. the 1 on the Uno.

After having the Teneo Uno for a month or so now, I find that I don't use it as much as I had hoped. I do still insert it probably once a week. While I really haven't noticed any major differences in my kegal strength I do find that the ball is less noticeable once inside... maybe that means that my muscles are stronger than they used to be???
