Shunga massage candle by Shunga Erotic Art - review by Flower1

I had never used a massage candle before, until now. I kind of had a difficult time on choosing which massage candle I'd like to try first. When I came across the Shunga Massage Candle, I saw nothing but good reviews. I thought the price was a little too much at first, but I have quickly changed my mind after using this product. I'm a huge fan of vanilla scents, so it wasn't that hard to figure out which scent I wanted.

I was very eager to receive the Shunga Massage Candle in the mail. When the package came, I didn't waste any time on opening it. This 6.75 Fl Oz. soybean wax candle comes in a black tin with a beautiful Japanese painting on the front. On the back of the tin there are instructions, letting you know to light the candle for 20 minutes. I opened the candle by taking off the black tin lid. Inside, there was a tiny, clear spoon. The candle smells very delicious! I lit the candle and waited for a little over 30 minutes before extinguishing the flame. Since I have never used a massage candle before, I thought the wax was going to be so hot, it'd burn my skin. To my surprise, the wax was very warm, not at all too hot.

The ingredients for the vanilla Shunga massage candle are:
Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Coco Nucifera Oil, Fragrance, Prunus Dulcis Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius Oil, Persa Americana Oil, Sesamum Indicum Oil, Vitis Vinifera Oil, Tocopherol.
with an Oil base.

I poured some of the warm wax into the palm of my hand as stated in the instructions. I then massaged it onto my husbands back. Even though the base of this candle is oil, I didn't find it to feel oily at all. It massaged very smoothly onto my husbands back. Too bad this candle isn't edible! The vanilla scent smelled so delicious! My husband said that he felt very relaxed while getting the massage, he felt like he was falling asleep. The Shunga massage candle made his skin feel so soft and moisturized.

Overall, I had a very good first experience with this massage candle. I'm very happy I chose this brand.

My husband and I still enjoy this candle. It has lasted us a long time. I love the scent very much. I'm planning on trying the other scents soon.
