Silvio Berlusconi said that his party should change it’s name to “Go Pussy!” which sounds like a play on the “Go Italy” slogan he entered politics with in the 1990s, the AFP reports. "We will change the name of the People of Freedom because people no longer carry it in their hearts," he said. “Go Pussy!” evidently, is more timeless.
A member of the opposition party thought it was funny. Antonio Borghesi said: “ ‘Go Pussy!’ just about sums up his [Berluscon's] lifestyle and his way of doing politics.”
Not everyone was so amused. A leader of the Catholic church didn’t care for it and a member of his own party Barbara Saltamartini, called it “inappropriate and not funny.”
“We will examine any suggestions,” Berlusconi said.
