I guess I am just not a fan of XXX parodies. Or maybe it is just cartoon parodies. At any rate, The Flintstones was just boring to me. I only found one scene exciting, and that was the one between Wilma and Betty. Not too fond of the wigs, though. They seemed as if they were going to fall off at any second.

Now, I can clearly see that a lot of work was put into this movie. The sets were spectacular. It can't be easy to create a house that has all rock furniture, but they really pulled it off. There was even the foot-controlled Fred Flintstone-mobile. That was all really well done. Kudos.

I was disappointed that Fred did not have any sex scenes. I think the production company could have found someone to play Fred who also could do a scene. It seems so odd that he was the only one not getting any. As far as the straight sex scenes go, the best to me was the Pebbles and Bam Bam one, just because they seemed so in to one another.

But the sex scenes were just not innovative enough for me. It was all pretty much standard fare. When did the trend change to having these loooooong sex scenes? They go on until I just don't care anymore, and usually just fast forward to the end. Enough already! And why no toys? I would think that someone could have come up with some really creative prehistoric sex toys and that would have been a hoot. And I am not a fan of all the moaning and groaning and spitting.
